I am truly saddened that I have to write such a poor review. I contacted Kyler Shaw at the recommendation of a home inspector. I shared my home inspection report with him and was told I needed new electrical panels. In addition to some work I wanted performed to upgrade the house (install a chandelier, put in a small kitchenette, downstairs, etc.).
Several unforeseen occurrences : while digging alongside my driveway to reach the underground electrical, they hit the gas line resulting in 7 1/2 days of no electrical and no gas (which powered my hot water tank). Accidents happen. PSE was furious because they did not call 811 to get the gas line marked. But the person that paid the price was me because I had no hot water or air conditioning during eight of the hottest days in July.
The cost was enormous; but I paid and basically ignored a few red flags (for instance they approached a contractor also working at my house and asked if they would be willing to help dig to reach the electrical lines. I later found out that I had to pay the other Contractor and Kyler told me there was no charge from him for that digging). Imagine my surprise when I got a $960 bill from the other contractor!!
Then my security camera recorded a five minute conversation between Kyler and another contractor where he shared how he overcharges the customer. “ if I am asked to do a job that is less than four hours I charge a $300 trip fee; and I double the cost of materials. As an example $60 worth of materials would then become $120. Of course I don’t tell the customer that I am charging the $300 trip fee.”
When I confronted him with this information and my five minute recording, he really had no answers for me. He did however try to go back to the other contractor and I’m sure he wanted to find a way to blame him.
It is really very sad to feel cheated by a contractor that professes to follow the Bible.
In addition, I found wiring that seemed old and outdated and quite dangerous. So my new electrical panels will just turn off service and then I have to figure out where the issue came up.
So my almost $11,000 electrical panels don’t give me peace of mind. I now have to find another electrician to come in and examine my wiring because I ended the professional relationship with this company.
I would say get several bids and directly ask Kyler what the up charges are.
So very disappointed in this young man.

I reached out to Nick from the team of TouchStone and not only did he come out within 45 minutes he fixed my heaters and showed me what to do in the case they needed to be reset! He saved me so much money and his customer service was so professional and helpful. I asked for his card in case I needed anything else around this old home and he gave me a few with a nice smile. PMA electrical contractors incorporated is a fraudulent company operating illegally with a currently suspended contracting lisence.

PMA Electrical Contractors. License CURRENTLY SUSPENDED. As it has been numerous times for business and trade violations over the last 15 years. So much so that he was forced to close his last fake company and start PMA. Unethical labor practices. Hires electrical trainees (even though he is restricted from doing so, by the Wa. State Dept. Of Labor and Industries, because of prior violations involving unattended trainees on jobsites and failure to record and report trainees hours to L&I and the IRS) The consummate scam master. Great electrical knowledge. But given his propensity to avoid giving customers solid estimates, then invoicing them with prices of 200 to 300% higher than the customers were lead to believe, he is running out of dupes to work for. Builders and contractors fire PMA, Tim Ghezzi specifically, quite regularly.

Professional service and excellent results. The technician was respectful and skilled. Everything works perfectly now.
