Electrical reviews in Spokane Valley, Washington

Ameriwest did a great job installing our solar system and had no problem completing special requests and planning for future additions to the array.

Jim and his team did an amazing job! Darren, Nick and Josh are very professional and made sure the job was done right!

They replaced the lights in our business. We’re very happy with the work they did, the light system works great! Easy company to work with! Definitely recommend them to other businesses!!

Levi and Brent and Derrick did a great job for us. They even figured out why our new lamps were flickering and implemented a solution. We'll have them back for more work in the future.

I just want to give a shout out to Darren, Derrick and Jim. They had to come out to my property and fix a can light. The level of promptness and care was exceptional. Keep up the good work!

We had Mario come out to check our circuit breaker and had a wonderful experience. He found the problem and though it was outside of his scope to fix, he ensured we understood the next steps and what we needed to do for it. They didn’t even charge us for their time. He was very kind and knowledgeable. Would definitely use this company again!

I worked with Jim Z to get a large solar array installed on my roof. Really enjoyed working with Jim and AmeriWest and chose them over multiple solar specific companies just to work with someone that was responsive and personable. I highly recommend Jim and his team. I plan on using them for future projects as well.

Jim and his crew at AmeriWest Electric and Solar are Amazing! GREAT experience with this company. Professional, FAST, and truly have been caring for our church as they have replaced and fixed every light inside and outside the church on a full-renovation! COULD NOT BE HAPPIER! Thank you ! ~JourneyChurchSpokane

AmeriWest did whole-house wiring, and installed a Generac battery backup system (ready for future solar power) in my rural house. I found Jim Z to be ethical, easy to work with, and very professional. The work was done cleanly and Ameriwest stands behind their work. I'd happily work with them again for all my electrical work and upcoming Solar 12 panel system install.

10/10 - Would recommend

Doing some home renovations and hired AmeriWest to come switch out several light fixtures and install a ceiling fan. The electrician was super friendly and knowledgeable, he did the job quickly and everything looked perfect when he was finished. Pricing was competitive and the experience was top notch, no need to go anywhere else!

I am co-owner of Legacy Farm and Stable in Loon Lake. We are a commercial stable and give lesson all year, no matter the weather. We keep 30-40 horses. at all times. Some are boarders but the majority work in our lessons program. So we have a lot of people coming and going and a lot of young people coming after school, which in the winter means REALLY DARK. We had some serious lighting issues in a number of areas. So we called on Jim Zupkus to solve our problems. The results are fantastic! The new LEDs in the grooming and saddling area are beautiful. Our students can see to groom the horses, to keep the areas clean and the better lighting also enhances safety. Storage areas were also a challenge. It is extremely refreshing to be able to FIND STUFF and then to see the shelves and put items away correctly. Outdoor lighting allows students to handle the horses safely, to be able to go into the paddocks and halter the horse they want without complications. Then once the horse is tacked up, they have to get to the big arena safely. Just a few strategically placed "Wall Pack" LED lights made such a huge difference. We discussed the locations but Jim and his crewmen placed them in locations that light up a huge amount of area. Not only are the students comfortable now with being able to see as they travel around the property, but the staff no longer needs head lamps to feed and to do chores. Thank you so much Jim and Crew!! You have made a huge difference on the whole property! We are eternally grateful!

Levi & Brent were fantastic! We got all of our interior lights upgraded from fluorescent tubes to new LED fixtures. Levi and Brent got the job done quickly and efficiently, with minimal disruption. I would definitely recommend AmeriWest Electric for any electrical work you need done at your business!

We had some problem with a wire to a sensor light. A journey man and an apprentice came out, the journey man did not fix anything, he just told us what was wrong!! And of course the apprentice just absorbed. After not even 1/2 hour they left and our bill came to $272.25!!! After calling and complaining about this we were told that there is basic fee plus gas money (they are 3.6 miles away from us) the journey man to be paid and they need to make money too. Well, they made a lot of money for that service, needless to say, never again!

We were robbed last fall. Nothing too significant was taken, but it’s still upsetting. Ameri-West was very helpful in helping us get a new security system installed and our house has been much more secure ever since!

Jim and his team are wonderful. We are in the midst of remodeling our older home. We had an electrical nightmare so we called ameriwest. They had someone out within 24 hours. The two professionals that came out we very friendly, informative, and respectful of our home. Truly went above and beyond to make sure our home is safe and efficient. Definitely recommend for all your electrical needs!

I spent some time searching for a company that could install a solar system that was local and I could work with. Jim was great from the start. He has no qualms about discussing the system and answering questions as well and listening to ideas and requests. Not only did Jim do all the planing and design, he was also here for most of the installation. He and his crew were professional and curtious and did great work. The system has worked as designed since installed. Thanks guys!

AmeriWest is such a fantastic electrical contracting firm! They electrified an outbuilding on our property to exactly the specifications we desired and did an excellent job with the design. The team was very professional and courteous and the finished trim is beautiful. Can't recommend them enough!

Great experience! I have used Ameriwest Electric on two different occasions, and they have been very helpful, friendly, and professional. They were out to find and fix a few electrical issues I was having at my 2 homes and were able to fix them in a short amount of time. They are very responsive and will try and get out to you as soon as possible! I would highly recommend Ameriwest for all of your electrical needs! They will be my first call!

AmeriWest Electric was one of only two electrical contractors in the area that I found who also installed solar systems. Most of the solar firms I contacted seemed more concerned with selling loan contracts than they were with the actual solar. Notably, at least three of my neighbors who had traditional solar firms install their systems still do not have a production meter from Avista months after the install. Everyone I dealt with at AmeriWest was friendly and professional and proud of their finished work. I will certainly consider AmeriWest in the future if I need electrical work. I give them five stars with one caveat; the homeowner needs to keep track of what future work needs to be completed and give AmeriWest nudges to get the work completed. Pretty typical for a small, growing company.

AmeriWest has been our go to Electrical company for years! We were first referred to them during a kitchen remodel. I have to say, that the service and the "above and beyond" workmanship that they provided have kept us coming back over the years. We now use them for both our residential and commercial needs. I have zero hesitation referring friends and family to AmeriWest - I know they will always deliver! It's rare to be able to count on a "Yes", "Can Do" "When do you need us" response from service providers these days. My experience has been that the prices are fair, and the service is excellent! The owner Jim is very personal, and is dedicated to ensuring he and his employees provide the type of results and service that create Raving Fans! Highly recommend!

Jim was easy to work with. He came for a free estimate to run power to my new sauna. Gave me a timeframe of when his crew would show up and he beat it. James who came was nice and walked me through what he was doing and was very knowledgeable. I asked for an additional outlet extension to install a future garage heater and they were flexible enough to add it the same day. I’d recommend Ameriwest and the team to anyone.
