Air Control Heating and Electric, Inc

I am in the process of turning Air Control in to the BBB as they are not a very reliable company at all. They were contracted through my home warranty American Home Shield and when they did come to my home about heat duct under my modular they replaced a thermostat and told us they would be back in a couple of days to replace the duct as they had to order it. I t was approved by the warranty and since Jan 22nd I have not heard from them. I have called them one time. I called my home warranty in which they told me they have sent them emails to respond back to them to get this resolved and still no answer as to when the work is going to be complete. They were paid by both me and the home warranty. I have called American Home Shield every week looking for an answer and I keep getting the same answer every time. I called them last night on the 11th of Feb and they were going to turn it over to the contractor supervisor who was supposed to call me today. No call. I am tired of the run around. I paid for a service to be completed. I would not recommend this company to anyone.

It’s 10 degrees outside, we just bought this house & this is the company that has last worked on this heater. The heater has gone out & they don’t have anything available until Wednesday which would be fine if it wasn’t 10 degrees and there is a risk the pipes will freeze flooding our house. I call them asking at least for recommendations because we can’t wait until next week or risk flooding & their phone rep was incredibly rude with me talking to me like I’m stupid. They had an overtime pricing that I would’ve been willing to pay to have someone come but they were unwilling to try and set that up. Poor communication, poor service & unnecessarily rude

My AC went out so I had AirControl come out after hours. The tech said my capacitor was bad. He replaced it and said it still wouldn’t turn on and that I had a bad condenser. The next day Air Control quoted me $1,700 to replace it. Meanwhile I had Holliday Heating and AC come out to get a second opinion. The tech from Holliday looked at the capacitor installed by Air Control and said it was wired incorrectly. He installed a new one and a new fuse and low and behold my AC fired right up. The tech checked to make sure it was operating normally, cleaned up a few things and told me my condenser is just fine. So I called Air Control to get answers, I spoke with the service manager, Harry. Harry said he would find out what happened and get back to me, a week later and I still haven’t heard from Harry. 👎🏻
