Horrible service from this company. They didn’t follow my directions, probably because the “arborist” Joseph Zubaly that I talked to didn’t oversee his workers at all. They did irreparable harm to two of my blue spruces and never touched other trees they were supposed to.

I called about my displeasure and weeks later when Joseph finally took the time to come out and look at the terrible job they did, he argued with me yet agreed with me they took off way more than we had discussed.

The lower branches they removed will never grow back on my blue spruces. I’m upset every single time I drive up to my house and see the damage they did.

Do not use these “arborist” especially Joseph Zubaly. I was very clear with him about what I wanted them to do but now I’m stuck with damaged trees and a huge bill that I refuse to pay.

In subsequent emails he’s accused me of lying, refusing to take any responsibility for their shoddy work. Really a class act this company.

If you care about your trees, please learn from my mistakes and hire someone else.

The service was great. Workers are courteous and professional. I would recommend them to anyone with tree maintenance issues.

Bartlett Tree Experts has taken care of the maple, tulip, and linden trees at my home for several years now. I am so grateful for their knowledge and expertise in plant health. I have twice called because of very bad bug infestations on the trees and they came out immediately to resolve the problem.

(Removal of 3 Cherry Trees and 2 huge Blue Spruces, purchase and planting of 2 Crabapple trees, multiple Trimmings/Pruning of 8 trees, multiple Insect Treatments for 8 trees , Lawn Care - 2.5 years)

Cancelled Oct 2017!! Company failed to service my address on the regular basis and to satisfaction as service agreement promised. I had to call multiple times, because no one showed for my lawn services.
My lawn is green, but I still have weeds and moss out of control after 2.5 years of treatment. My moss is even worse! On one occasion, liquid lawn fertilizer was applied undiluted onto my lawn. The employee noticed his mistake as he was ready to leave and frantically hosed my lawn off with water.
My mother used the less expensive GL Lawn Service and her weeds were fast under control after just two applications and her moss was gone after one moss treatment. Both treatments where environment friendly :-)

After bringing my service concerns to the attention of a Bartlett Representative, I was met with an argumentative attitude and blamed for the Company's shortcomings. He did not value me as a long standing customer.

I am very disappointed and shocked about the unfriendly treatment after so many years of being a Customer.

The work crew showed up on time and were very efficient ad professional. They worked as a team to take down a large maple tree, and cleaned up the debris and the work area completely. Would definitely recommend Bartlett for any tree work.

We have used Bartlett Tree Company on a couple different occasions. The first time I wasn’t super impressed with their work, but thought we would have them come out to trim some trees and remove a couple others. Michael Sanborn is a very knowledgeable arborist, but the crew that came out to do the work lacks. We weren’t very happy with the work that was done the 2nd time, the trees that were trimmed looked awful, so we had them come out to fix them, and they still looked bad, there’s no uniformity to them whatsoever. I guess l’ll have to trim them myself. We had asked to keep the wood from the trees they took down for firewood , but they ended up taking it anyway. We won’t be using them again in the future.

We did not have a good experience with this company. I had a tech come out and we discussed a plan for my trees and I allowed them to take soil samples. I wasn't given anything to sign so a week later I called to see how the samples were coming and they said they weren't ready yet. I waited a few weeks more and crickets. Then I woke up one morning to a surprise tree crew servicing my trees even though I had not given any written permission or had anyone call me to tell me they were coming out. I was, of course, upset. I called and the tech did offer to make things right offering the service for free, but I did want my trees done regardless so I offered to pay. I waited weeks for a bill only to get an email saying they didn't have the correct billing address. Then they charged me a late fee for an invoice that was overdue because they had the wrong address. I am beyond annoyed with this company and how they are handling the situation. We ended up having to call another tree service for a second opinion.

Great tree specialist, they have provided service for us 2 times, treating and trimming our trees, they do a great job! I highly recommend this business if you need tree services.

Bartlett Tree Experts representative Mr. Bulla and his team recently removed a 100 year old diseased horse chestnut tree from our backyard and their work for us was outstanding. Mr. Bulla is very professional, listens well and offered a variety of suggestions that helped us make an informed decision. The team he sent was efficient, on time, neat and friendly. Our property is bounded on two sides by fences and the tree that was taken down was well over 75' high with a wide canopy. Our backyard property sustained minimal damage, just some turf that got a little beat up, but I mean just a little. The next day they came back and planted three replacement trees. This they also did with the kind of expertise you would expect from hiring arborists and plant experts. The bill matched the bid, no issues there. My wife and I are completely satisfied and would recommend them to anyone who is in need of a true professional.

Bartlett did some major trimming of the ponderosa pines, thinned and removed debris in over grown areas. These people know what they’re doing and do what they say they will do. Very professional! Thank you! The trees on our property thank you too!

This company did a fantastic job on our tree removal in Post Falls. We have already recommended them to a neighbor who inquired. Great job from start to cleanup! They were also very friendly to my 2 boy onlookers 🙂

As always, excellent work and follow up. Levi is awesome and Vic is, as well. So was the young man who initially came before Vic, was excellent. I can’t recall his name but he was so polite - trimmed my trees and cut back all of the dead plants from the fall. My health was very poor last fall and I was unable to prepare my plants for winter. My only concern is that I have 2 clump grasses south of our hot tub and he also cut them back. I haven’t seen any new green popping up in the grasses yet. However, I want you to know that before he cut back those particular grasses, he did ask me if I wanted him to cut those back. I said yes. So, if they don’t make it, I am accepting total responsibility for them.

We had a lace leaf, giant Mugo pines and a dogwood trimmed. They look so much nicer than before.
We also had a giant tree stump ground. They did a great job with that as well.
Tim and Harley were both great at explaining the processes they would use, they were very professional and asked great questions, and safety was a number one priority.
We will be using them for our ongoing tree and shrub care!

Working busy professional mom in medical field who got a call from her kids, one day at work, that a huge limb had fallen on the house from an old walnut tree! Panic city! Bartlett tree saved the day! Not only did they find a way to handle the limb that same day, they were professional, thorough, left ZERO mess and returned one week later to remove some old trees I was worried about. The Bartlett crew completed a beautiful job trimming and shaping my ornamental trees, as well as trimming the deadwood out of my big pine trees. It all made a huge mess, but when they left the next day, they had cleaned up everything - the roof, yard, driveway and street. My trees and yard are beautiful. I will be using them again! I highly recommend Bartlett Tree Experts - on time, reliable, organized, efficient and professional!

Contacted Bartlett and had them come out for an estimate. Also contacted a few other companies. One never showed up, one took over two weeks to respond on multiple occasions, two came out and also gave estimates. The of the other two estimates one was close to the same and the other was lower. I felt like the customer service levels didn't come close to that shown by Levi at Bartlett. So I scheduled a time for them to come do some work, the crew showed up on time, worked very professionally, addressed a few concerns with my husband and got the job done. They were fabulous and the trees look so good. We will be using them for all of our arborist needs.

Bartlett’s came out last fall to trim quite a large walnut tree. This spring as the leaves were returning, we noticed there was still quite a bit of deadwood on it. We called and Levi (our arborist with Bartlett’s) said he would be out to finish it up. Now it’s the middle of Sept and still not done. We have called three times this week and have been promised a phone call twice. Nothing. We paid $1200 for half of a job. Not worth the money for the service you receive. Would not recommend them at all

Very professional team that cut down a dead pine tree, cabled a blue spruce, and treated the remaining trees on our property. We will definitely use Bartlett Tree Experts in the future.
