I can't say enough positives about Alec. I had tried for over 2 years to find someone to repair (let alone look at) my sprinkler system (plants dying because of low water pressure). I finally got Alec's name through a referral from Alderwood Landscaping. Alec was prompt (frequently messaging when he would be there), gave a very reasonable estimate, and was able to get to work within a week. But most importantly, he fixed the problem! I had been told I may need a major overhaul of the entire sprinkler system with a new zone installed. He discovered a metal post had damaged one of the sprinkler lines and tree roots had pinched another line. He was able to fix both problems, install new sprinkler heads, and re-establish more pressure than I think the system has had in the 12 years we've owned the home. Thank you, Alec! Anyone needing help with their lawn or sprinkler system should check with Alec first. You won't be disappointed!

Honestly, I couldn't be happier with the work provided by Alec and his team. My wife and I just bought a home, and a month later our retaining wall collapsed. Alec repaired our yard and went above and beyond what he was hired to do. We couldn't be more grateful!

Alec was very professional and performed all quoted work at a high standard meeting or exceeding expectations. When we found a leak in our sprinkler system after turning it on this spring he came out after hours to fix it for us.

I had a patio that was all paver bricks that had settled badly over the years. Alec gave me a very reasonable estimate for the job. He and another guy took up all the pavers, built up what had settled and secured it so it won’t resettle, and reset all the pavers. They were very efficient and did a great job. It looks great! Alec Clare and his crew installed low voltage lighting around our house primarily for security, since we are snow birds. But my house looks wonderfull at night!!! Alec can achieve your plan or design something for you. His goal is customer service and a great result...he achieved both on our job.

Alec does AMAZING work. He laid cobblestones for our patio and built a retaining wall around part of our garden and they are both so much more beautiful than I imagined. His work is super high quality, precise, finished on time and within budget. Plus he’s just a nice guy, his team is always polite, professional, trustworthy and they clean up after themselves. My wife and I designed a paver patio for our back yard last Summer, and Alec took that design and made it a reality. He was wonderful to work with, start to finish. His bid was reasonable, he showed up on time, did beautiful work, and handled last challenges and last minute changes like a pro. We've since had him out to install retaining walls in our culvert, and we'll be giving him a call for a few more projects, too! We can't recommend Alec highly enough!

Alec did all the landscaping and sprinkler installation after our house and yard were destroyed in a wildfire. He is extremely professional, prompt, honest, and very easy to work with. It is a rarity these days to find hard working and honest people. Alec is definitely both. Not only does his work ethic surpass everyone else, his knowledge of the best products is extensive.
He built a raised patio in my backyard and it is absolutely beautiful. He picked the colors, style and design. It's better than I could have ever done. My neighbors saw it and asked him to do work for them as well. Since then, he has been back to install new backyard sprinklers and repair broken front yard parts. I have reached out to him with various questions about random landscaping ideas and he has always been kind and informative.

ABOVE & BEYOND! I was recommended Clarescapes through Gibson’s nursery, the owner mentioned that if they were to have hardscaping done by anyone he’d choose Alec. To be sure, I received a few other quotes but appreciated how Alec took time to understand my vision and provide a quote that was within the parameters of my budget. I wanted all the nursery beds to be filled with rock and bordered with concrete curbs. Alec and his team were friendly and courteous and beyond efficient. I am so impressed with the finished product and can’t recommend Clarescapes enough!
