These folks are great. I had Ben and Kristen out for a day of pruning last summer (we have a bunch of ancient fruit trees) and they did an awesome job. I learned a lot and they got a lot done. Really cool folks, too. I recommend them wholeheartedly.

The most incredible arborist and crew I’ve ever seen. They gave advice and were very knowledgeable but what was so impressive is they followed my lead- I truly didn’t have to tell them anything twice. They remembered what I wanted plus honored my weird requests (there’s a dead limb with a bird family living inside that I wanted undisturbed) and communicated every step of the way. They even cuddled my dog who was dying for their attention. 😍 I’d give them ten stars!

Spirit Pruners reduced one of the two tops and cleaned up the canopy from a very large 150+ foot Ponderosa pine tree in my yard. The arborist did a fantastic job and the ground crew meticulously cleaned up the yard and the pathway where they hauled and chipped all the debris. I highly recommend them!

They (gladly) refused to work for our angry b*st*rd neighbor who just wanted to cut our tree’s to shambles.
So we had them come out and do all the work on our trees that the trees NEEDed not just for aesthetics but what’s good for the trees. Bolted them so they won’t fall. Made them better for when they do bloom they’re not overbearing.
Did all the work in less than 2 days (5+ trees) and cleaned up nicely too!

I have total confidence in Spirit Pruners. We have three very old Japanese Maples and Dogwood that require careful pruning to keep them healthy and beautiful. The folks at Spirit Pruners are so careful and professional and give me total confidence that my trees are in good hands!

The folks at Spirit Pruners are not only artisans they are stand-up members of the community. If it weren't for the pumpkin carving event they hosted I would never have been able to help my kids have Jack O'Lanterns this year. I had to watch my foster grandson and my husband was sick but thanks to Spirit pruners my kids had an Enchanted Evening!

Isaiah and his team are absolutely wonderful!! They treated my trees with care and consideration and worked so hard. Plus my kiddos adore him. I appreciate them and will 100% use them in the future.

We have had Spirit come out yearly for awhile now. Each experience has been so wonderful! Very knowledgeable arborists who genuinely enjoy answering questions about our trees. One of the few companies that I feel energized after dealing with.

1st off the weather did not permit for the 1st attempt. they were really efficient about the return and care of service!!
2nd I let them know that I had super loud mouth hounds and were very proficient in letting me know by phone if they needed anything.

Highly recommended. We needed a three-story maple tree that was dangerously close to our neighbor's house removed. From start to finish, Spirit Pruners was great. Jose came out to do the estimate and was very knowledgeable about the trees in our yard. The estimate was very competitive, and Jose and Felix did a great job taking the tree down safely and quickly. I would use Spirit again in a heartbeat.

I have used Spirit Pruners every few years, 3 times now, to prune small and large trees in our yard. They have always done an excellent job. Kelly is a very knowledgeable arborist, he has always been able to answer my many questions, gives prudent advice and keeps our trees looking their best with a natural shape. His crew is friendly and professional and carries out the planned pruning in a safe efficient way. Clean up is done so well there is little trace of their activity. I highly recommend Spirit Pruners.

I had an excellent experience. The estimate was prompt, the scheduling was smooth, and the price was fair. The crew arrived on time and promptly ran into a challenge - the house-to-power-pole lines that ran through the tree were comm lines that the city couldn't remove. They worked carefully around them, despite the fact that the lines ran right through the tree coming down. They used battery powered small saws for all of the trimming work, so the whole process was amazingly quiet until they got to the trunk, which didn't take them long to take down with a gas saw. They left the yard spotless when they left. I am very impressed.

Our family has used Spirit Pruners for several years and there is no one better in Spokane. They are reliable, pleasant, know their stuff, and you wouldn't even know they were there because they clean up so well. They trim your trees and shrubs very carefully to maximize the growth and health of your trees, rather than taking a chainsaw and hacking away at the top. I highly recommend Spirit Pruners! You will be pleasantly pleased.

I previously said that I would hire Spirit Pruners again in a heartbeat and that is exactly what I did. I had another large pruning job . . . 5 trees in all. The crew consisted of Jose', Madeline, and Felix.

This company has an exceptionally cohesive group of confident arborists and pruners and their camaraderie is readily evident. They function as a well-oiled machine - methodically attentive to safety while working in an efficient, thoughtful manner. And, they all love their jobs.

Ben, the estimator, is a great guy. His work plan laid the foundational structure, but the crew was very flexible and the fine-tuning occurred while they were working on site. This is a crew that will work WITH you to achieve your goal. Every single person has a mellow personality and a good heart (a bonus).

Once again, this team did an utterly fabulous job. Jose', in particular, often opted to share his decision-making process. Madeline was meticulous and detail-oriented while cleaning out the Japanese red maple (a tedious job). And, Felix cleaned out the underside of the Blue spruce to match what I had begun (taking off all of those small, dead side branches on healthy limbs). I was just so taken aback that he had gone above and beyond. And, of course, the clean-up was meticulous. This was another lovely experience with a fabulous company.

Don't let the name fool you . . . this is a full service tree company. I happened to meet Jose' when he was working in a neighbor's yard. He didn't hesitate to answer my questions and was so incredibly knowledgeable, helpful, and kind that I opted to have the company give me a bid. And, I am so very grateful that I did.

These guys cleaned the lower 1/3 of the crown my mature blue spruce and my mature Douglas Fir. They removed the deadwood from a tall, red Japanese maple (a delicate soul of a tree). And they trimmed and pruned 2 good size maple trees, each with their own 'special' structural issues. The crew, Mason and Amoe - both arborists, were thoughtful and meticulous in their work. I am a dedicated observer and I like decisions to be collaborative (deferring to their expertise, of course) and they were both beyond kind and easy going. The yard was spotless when they were done. I couldn't be any happier! I would hire them again in a heartbeat!

And, as an aside, I am astounded by the number of creatives who work for this company - true artists, photographers, designers, musicians, potters and even a dancer! No wonder I am drawn to these people!

I recently purchased a home with a very old, giant pine in my backyard and a maple right next to the house (and practically sitting on it). The trees clearly hadn't been pruned in many years, were compromising power lines, and just looked neglected (lots of dead wood).

I reached out to Spirit Pruner's for an estimate online and they quickly responded the next day and set up an appointment. Ben came out and took a look at the trees; he was knowledgeable, personable, and offered a couple of different scenarios and pricing options for me to consider, which I really appreciated.

Ben and his crew showed up on time, they were all very friendly, conscientious of the property, great at answering questions, and it was really apparent that they enjoy what they do for a living. It's always refreshing to work with people that have a passion and care for what they do--it shows! I can't believe how much the team got done in an 8-hour day. It was a massive undertaking; the trees look really clean and healthy; and, Ben and his crew left my yard looking better than they'd found it, and like they'd never been there at all. Magic!

Spirit Pruners does high quality work; they're a kind, communicative, professional group of people; and, they're really thoughtful about the trees and the work they do. As a fellow tree-lover, I was happy to do business with them. I found their pricing very reasonable, and I really enjoyed watching them work--it was a fun day! They were even able to fit in two smaller requests from both of my neighbors, at very reasonable rates, on the same day as well. I and my neighbors are very happy with the work that was done.

I highly recommend Spirit Pruners for all your pruning needs. It's really great to find trustworthy, high quality companies like this one, and I'll be using them again in the future!

Can’t recommend enough. After may quotes to remove a tree, we found tall tree. They fit us in the next week, cleaned up very well, very nice people and had the best price. They even fit in removing a branch from another tree on our property. Would use again.
