Austin and the GreenPro team did a fantastic job with our back yard. They were very easy to work with and were understanding when we asked for changes throughout the process. They helped us figure out exactly what we wanted and executed on that vision. As you can see in the before and after pictures, Austin and team saved our lawn and made it into a place we’re proud to share with family and friends.

We met Austin and his team a couple of years ago at the Spokane Home Show and I'm so thankful that we did! We hired the team to put in a sprinkler system and replant our back yard. We have now completed our second project, replacing a retaining wall and are so happy with the results. We look forward to our next project with the GreenPro team in the spring.

Was referred to Cory by another landscape & irrigation company that was too busy to come out . Spoke to Cory about coming out but he didn't want to set up an apt yet, so I gave it a week. Called back left a vm, and he did return my call and said the next day he would try and reach out to schedule a date. Next day, nothing, so I texted and just never heard from him so I gave up. So hard to find reliable company's these days.

Cory is an outstanding landscaper! He does a fantastic job & is very knowledgeable, friendly & professional. If you need any landscaping services done he’s the guy!

He let supervisor train new workers with no experience.Customers did not like seeing arguments over bad results.

I am appalled and upset with the conduct of the owner, Brody. Yesterday morning while his employees were working in Fieldstone in Post Falls, ID. A rock flew and hit my windshield. We called the HOA that in turn directed me to the landscaping company. Yesterday, Brody assured me the cost of my windshield replacement would be covered "one way or another." However, today he told me that I am pretty much SOL. He informed me that i should have gotten the attention of the mower instead of contacting the HOA. Now, I am out $278. My car was parked. It was parked. It was not cracked when I was out there at 4 in the morning getting my cell phone charger. Very upset, I am a mother of four and have two disabled daughters. This was not money we could afford to spend because of their landscaping services. I thought when he said don't worry, he meant it, but he did not. For the sake of people visiting you, do not use this company.

First time experience with Spokane Landscaping and Maintenance. The service I had done was water turn on and sprinkler system checked. Very pleased with the outcome. I highly recommend this company! I will recommend them to family and friends! Outstanding Customer Service!

Our experience in working with Barbara Safranek simply could not have been more positive.

We initially contracted with Barb to come out and just give us a 1-hour consultation on our yard. We had never done anything "professional" in our yard before so really had no idea where to start or what to expect. We weren't even specifically looking for a makeover, just ideas on what was possible. After living in our home for 18 years it had become impossible for us to "see the forest for the trees", we were so unable to get outside the box and see possibilities beyond what we had looked at for 18 years.

Barb gave us that vision. She walked into our yard and the ideas started flowing out of her. She was a wealth of knowledge and creativity, and ultimately her enthusiam and expertise convinced us to hire her for a full-on landscape re-design. Partnering with Greenscape as our landscape contractor proved the perfect complement to her design process.

One aspect of the design process we particularly appreciated was never feeling like we were being upsold on anything or pressured to install any features that would not have been appropriate for our neighborhood or the age and design of our house. That was important to us, to keep the new landscape in check with the overall feel of our neighborhood and home. I've seen that before, where landscapes completely overwhelm and overpower the home they belong to, and wind up looking out of place. That didn't happen here.

Our newly transformed garden is the oasis we never knew it could be. Without Barb's expertise it could never have happened. We cannot be more pleased with the end result, and the process itself in getting there was a delight as well.

Barbara completely re-landscaped our front yard. Because we have only a sliver of space behind our house, a major part of the renovation was the design and installation of a front yard patio. This entailed removing and replacing nearly all the existing front yard. She designed a stone patio and paving-stone walkways. She then re-landscaped the remaining portion of the front yard with a mixture of lawn and planting beds, incorporating some of the existing shrubs in enlarged beds with new plantings.
Barbara was very easy to work with. She consulted us and solicited our opinions at every stage of the process. (She is a good listener!) What we especially liked was that the few times when we did not like one of her suggestions, she was very willing to accommodate our ideas and incorporate them into a revised plan. There was never an sense of having to argue about something to get our ideas across.
She has an encyclopedic knowledge of plants. The plants she recommended (many of them new to us) have proven to be both attractive and easily maintained.
We have been enjoying looking at our new landscape from inside the house almost as much as being outside in it. Our hellebores which started blooming as soon as the snow banks melted are still full of blooms many weeks later. They are the talk of the neighborhood.

Barbara is an excellent landscape designer. Her designs are beautiful and exactly want we wanted. She took our suggestions without being pushy or upset. She was never offended when we wanted to tweak her design. However, when our suggestions or request would really clash with the design or cause a technical issue, Barbara would explain and offer her best recommendation. She is a joy to work with. I cannot wait for our yard to be finished. Top notch person too!

Barbara exceeded our expectations in every way! After working with two other landscape designers we contacted the WSU Master Gardeners resource line to ask who they would recommend, we'll it was Barbara. After the first couple meetings with Barbara our vision and ideas started to emerge both in her description of plant material and the feeling of space that complimented our unique house. Her knowledge of plant material is simply amazing. We also had Barbara meet with our architect so that both the structure and landscape would not conflict but compliment each other. In fact, at one point during the design phase we visited a local supplier with Barbara and her descriptions while looking at material made it sound though she was in a kitchen creating a French menu of wonderful food. Wow...it was coming to life. Then, she helped us out with the bidding process and contractor selection. To top it off, we kept here on the project by having her oversee the implementation of what she designed, all the way down to accepting plants and plant placement. We just hired her again for the backyard following the same successful process. Barbara is an amazing resource when it comes landscape design.

I want to thank Barbara for her lovely landscape design and recommendations for landscape companies to bring it to reality. Last year at this time, isolating from the pandemic, I looked out my front window every day and bemoaned what I saw—unattractive and depressing. Now I look outside at the beautiful plants, paths, patio, water feature, and stonework, and am so delighted by what I see.

Barbara is a wonderful listener. When I first met with Barbara, we went over a list of my likes and dislikes, my need-to-haves and want-to-haves in addition to Barbara’s impression of what was needed. We met several times after that, refining the design, until we came up with something that met all my family’s needs. I had not found this listening skill with other designers I met with, who seemed more interested in what they could do than in what I actually wanted, so meeting someone like Barbara was a relief.

Barbara provided the names of several landscape companies, from small to large, who could carry out the design. I spoke with them all and eventually selected one who could put the plan into action.

I highly recommend Barbara Safranek for her professionalism, responsiveness, and ability to translate desires into a beautiful and concrete design. Her prices are reasonable and she is easy to work with.
