Reviews of local pros in Spokane, Washington

PHS came recommended by Heindl Tree Care. Greg S. came to our home and provided excellent knowledge and care about our trees, grass, shrubs etc. and we received the best service. He provided knowledge without a charge. We will be reaching out this fall for preventative treatment. Thanks so much! Carrie

Contacted this company and spoke to Carl on 4/12/16. Told him what types of services I was looking for. He informed me that they would be up in my area by the end of the week (which would have been no later than 4/15/16). Provided them my name and phone number, as well as my husband's name and phone number.
To this day, 4/26/2016, no one has called nor have they shown up.
Based just on this fact alone, I would not use this company. Obviously unreliable.

I have had Carl for years and have been extremely satisfied with his services. Never had to worry for my small dogs, lawn and scrubs always looked great!

Karl has been reliable and is very knowledgeable. He has completely turned the lawn of my new property from a weed and fungus infested mess to a lush, green space.

I've had Karl Mills and ECO Lawn and Tree Care Services for over 20 years and we are beyond pleased. Karl is very dependable and pleasant. Our lawn is one of the best and most beautiful in the entire neighborhood. I would recommend this business to anyone that's wants natural lawn fertilizers and weed control

My lawn has never looked better! I was worried that going the natural route would yield a less lush lawn - I was wrong! In fact, my lawn is BETTER than it was when using a company that uses the chemical stuff. This year, my lawn is noticeably healthier than my neighbors who use other vendors. Nothing against them, their lawns are lovely too!, but I feel that mine is heartier and more resistant to weeds and hot temps. I've never had a lawn this strong. I thought I'd just use Carl's services that first year when I was too busy to do my own fertilizing but wanted a natural approach. Well, that was 2 years ago and I have NO intention of leaving Carl's service. It is a fair price for what you get in return and he comes like clockwork 5 times a year. Try it, you will love the results and your pets/kids will be safe!

I had a blast learning this new skill set and Aaron is an amazing instructor! I’m hooked and I’m excited to build on what he has taught me. The retreat is held in a very peaceful, picturesque location and Aaron’s wife is a fantastic host. I highly recommend this carving class if you are at all curious about carving wood with a chainsaw.

If I could give Aaron Chávez 10 stars, I would! He was amazing to watch as he turned a tree stump into art, and brought my eagle to life! What a fabulous gift he has! I highly recommend him to everyone !

We had an unfortunate incident where our very large ponderosa pine had to come down. If we ended up grinding the stump down, it would have created an enormous hole in our yard and we definitely didn’t want that! We contacted Chavez Carving and we are soo happy we did! He created such a beautiful piece of art in our front yard that makes me not miss the tree that came down! Everyone stops us and thanks us for creating a beautiful piece of art for the neighborhood to enjoy! Will definitely be contacting again for future projects.

Big fan!!!

Amazing artist. I love the Raven that he carved for me.

I'm so grateful that Aaron had the vision and ability to pull off this carve! It was everything we hoped it could be and more.

Such an amazing and talented artist. He was very quick as well. All the neighbors want a carving now as it’s so beautiful!

I love my owl! Chavez Carving has an eye for detail, it looks very professional and was a great price! I highly recommend them.

My wife and I receive a cardinal on a stump from our family meme er when she visited your shop. We are blown away by the craftsmanship and how it looks in our yard. I hope I can include a photo of it. Tha k you so much. I would highly recommended visiting him. I know when we make it out that way it will be our first stop Thank you so much!!!! This now resides in Rindge, New Hampshire.

I was gifted a raven/owl carving and I absolutely love it! It's the perfect addition to my porch.
We even decorate the raven for parties at our house!

Talented, professional, and timely! Aaron was so quick to respond to my request and then customized an Eagle with the family name. I highly recommend him!

It took almost a year to find someone to transform our stump into a work of art. It was worth the wait. Aaron ( Chavezcarving.com ) used his experience, skills, and talents and incorporated our ideas into a carving that exceeded our expectations. And the neighbors like our owl, too!

Beautifully crafted! Great service & he even porch delivered in time for our holiday festivities!

I randomly came across Aaron Chavez chainsaw artist on Facebook and couldn’t believe how wonderful his pieces were. I contacted him through Facebook and requested an owl carving. I was able to purchase one and love it so much, it’s gorgeous! I have already requested 2 more pieces when he has time. I highly recommend seeking him out for wood carvings, true artist w/amazing skills!

Wow is an understatement! Aaron was great to work with and he did an amazing job 👏
