Had furnace problems last December and had to make an after hours call to Norco. On the initial visit the technician told me one of several things may be wrong. The furnace started working again, so he told me that he would set me up with a maintenance plan to save me on the two visits, then he would call me back the next day. The furnace stopped working again that night, and I never heard from him again. Called another company when Norco could not send out a technician for several days on a call back (another story.) Finally got another technician from Norco out the following week who did not solve the problem, but at least pointed me in the right direction. I ended up fixing the furnace myself after 10 days without heat.

After talking to a manager and getting on of the visits removed from my bill, I was happy to walk away from the situation. That is, until a couple of months ago (9 months after the service) I get a "last notice" bill in the mail dated March 9 (did not receive a bill in March, which was three months after the service and at least a month after I had paid what the manager and I agreed to.)

Poorly managed at best, shady at worst. Either way, I would not recommend.

Had five quotes from various companies, and chose Norco as our AC installer, mainly based on a family member's recommendation. They were easy to work with, scheduled me in quickly (I know they're really busy with the hot spring we've had) and everyone I came in contact with acted very professionally. The two installers that came were the quietest I've ever had for home repairs and were quite efficient. Thrilled to have a new AC up and running, and happy to recommend Norco to others.

We are very satisfied with our service from Norco! They installed a new gas furnace, new A/C unit, and a new smart thermostat for us. Their estimate was very competitive, and they even included removing the old gas tank as part of their estimate rather than charging us an extra $1000-1500 that some other companies were going to do. The team that installed everything was very efficient and extremely polite and professional. I don't think they realized how much sound travels through our air ducts, so I could hear them pretty well when I was in the baby's room and they were working in the utility room below me, but even then they were very polite and professional with each other. They did it all in two days and did a very thorough job cleaning up after they were done. They also took care of all the paperwork for the Avista rebates and the registration for the extended warranty with Lennox, so we didn't have to do a thing besides sign our contract with Norco and pay them. We would definitely recommend them!

I called to ask questions about my bill and understand why I asked three people, three different times to flush my system and the First Lady on the call said no problem, the first guy who came out said he didn’t know how to ask the next person who’s coming out to finish fixing the boiler, and then the third person told me he wasn’t told to flush the system. He was only there to replace a part and couldn’t help me. When I brought that up during the call, the lady got so snarky and mad at me because I was “just trying to get out of my Bill“. When I relayed to her the information about asking three different times, she just told me that they must’ve misunderstood to ask again. I don’t know if that’s how you treat every customer or if I made some sort of list, but it seems very disrespectful instead of acknowledging that there is an issue you blame the customer. I asked three employees to flush my system and all three did not, so why would asking again somehow fix that? Why would you assume I was trying to “get out of my bill?” I believe you’re the one offering 100% satisfaction guaranteed. And I’m letting you know I wasn’t satisfied. You can either fix the problem, or blame the customer and it looks like you chose the latter.

We had a wonderful technician come out to our house to fix a problem that we were having with our furnace. He diagnosed the problem quickly and was fantastic to work with! I’ll be using Norco in the future, no question.

Norco is exceptional! They have terrific customer service, their technicians are knowledgeable, friendly and professional. They are thorough and mindful of cleaning up after themselves because the work they do can be messy. Norco came in with the lowest bid to upgrade our home’s wiring to get it ready for central air (which they also installed and did a fabulous job!) They also added additional outlets throughout our home. We have called them back to our house twice to change / fix minor issues from the initial re-wire last year, both times free of charge and within hours of my call - they 100% stand behind their work like no other company I have ever experienced. I would recommend Norco to anyone. Thank you for taking such great care of your customers!

First class operation. Had technician out last week informed me my 29 year old Lennox heat pump had done it's job. Asked for, got quote on repairing the relic, that was a exercise in futility. He had Pete come out next day foe estimate and logistics on new heat pump and heat exchanger ( electric furnace). I OKed the estimate he sent me the next day, a Friday. He got back to me later in the day asking if next Wednesday was good, Absolutely ! The crew showed on time worked tirelessly until 6:00 PM. All work was explained and agreed to throughout the tear down (They saved the old heat exchanger for me as it still functioned), and installation. The old unit was nice, however this setup with 29 years for advanced technology is working outstanding. Excellent workmanship professional, courteous from start to cleanup. You need hvac work call Norco, you will not be disappointed.

I’ve used Norco now on a few different houses. They were always prompt each time. When you have a heat or ac problem you don’t want to wait. There were some minor issues with a few installs and they were back the next day each time to make things right.

On time, prompt, friendly, and pricing seemed fair. The tech was great and was courteous and informative when it came to our issue.

My family purchased a home from Markham in 2019. At the time, Norco was the contracted HVAC who also installed that instant hot water heater. This unit has now completely failed due to a malfunction with the coil. My husband went to file the warranty (15yr) with the company for the water heater where we were told it is denied because it was installed incorrectly per their guidelines that Norco had at install. We called Norco and they had a tech come out. My home with 2 small children has no hot water. The Norco tech came out and confirmed the heater to be compromised/failed and that per the measurements of the exhaust was in fact installed incorrectly. The office called my husband saying that since they have not serviced it, that it’s not their fault. In no contract does it say a homeowner cannot service their own unit.
The failure of the system would be covered under warranty if installed correctly which again, Norco stated they failed to do and yet will not replace the part or unit.
I would highly caution anyone, individual or company, to hire Norco. They are not a company of integrity, quality work, or any amount of honest customer service.

Norco was great to work with through my attempt at DIY furnace repair. Between Lynn(Len?) in the warehouse being very helpful, receptionist going the extra mile to make sure the tech found my house and quickly, and Adam the tech coming out and fixing my mistakes within 30 minutes. The staff is professional and educational, had a great experience!

Guy from Norco Heating came out to see why my Lennox iComfort thermostat was not working and told me the thermostat was “obsolete”. The problem is it was brand new 3 years ago and he tried to sell me another unit for $1,500. Once I told him that he backpedaled and tried to sell me another unit he happened to have in his truck. In my option they are NOT a good certified Lennox dealer and you should be very careful. Also, charged me $140 for his time to tell me my new, expensive, unit is now obsolete.

Had a great experience, from initial quote and detailed discussion of our needs, right through to installation where the crew asked detailed questions about the work to be done and where we wanted the wiring and pipes run. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

The entire Norco team was nothing short of fantastic. Professional and courteous goes a very long way in a world that sometimes lacks it. I had them replace my furnace in 2022 and when my A/C had reached the end of its life I didn’t hesitate to call them.

We are very pleased with our heat pump and mini splits installed by Norco. Robert serviced our heat pump October 2025. He gave us a lot of good advice, answered questions and helped us winterize the tray underneath our heat pump.
    Thank you, Norco

My tenant called last week letting me know that his air conditioner had stopped working. I called Norco and was able to get a same-day appointment. The service tech came on time and seemed very knowledgeable in the way he quickly assessed the problem. The capacitor had gone out and he had the part on his truck and had it fixed within about 10 minutes. The whole process was very streamlined. The service call, part and repair was beet $300 with same day service. We’ve been working with Norco for 10 years. We’ve never had a problem with any of the service techs, but this one was definitely my favorite.

Paid $150 for someone to come out, look at our fireplace then tell us they don’t have access to those parts and left. Said they left a voice mail and that they tried ordering parts and couldn’t (no voicemail was left). We weren’t aware we were going to be charged $69 for the trip and $60 for labor. The trip fee makes sense but what labor? Next time maybe find out what unit the customer has and if your company can work on it BEFORE wasting everyone’s time and money.

We were extremely satisfied with our service technician, Montgomery. The company was transparent, skilled & addressed all issues quickly & had our heat up & running quickly. Highly recommend Norco!

Technician Robert came out to service my furnace and he was one of the most nicest people I have met in a long time. Very efficient, informative, made sure to see if I had any questions, went over the invoice and showed me the part he had to replace. You all have been very helpful and I see why our friends referred you and I will do the same. Thank you! Sabrina
