Reviews of local pros in Spokane, Washington

I have tall Arborvitae hedges surrounding my backyard that were getting out of control, and had been bent over by the windstorm in November. Scott came out and meticulously worked on them, restored them to better than before the storm, and made them look great. He doesn't take shortcuts, knows what he's doing, and does it right. Highly recommended!

Highly recommend!!!
The meticulousness and precision care pruning our arborvitae was beyond measure. The crew was amazing and I would invite them to my home again and again.

Scott Miller and his wonderful crew at Star Pruners clearly cares about the beauty and integrity of trees and shrubs in the landscape. Our yard was overgrown but they were undaunted. They carefully considered the growth pattern and shape of each specimen and its place in the overall scheme, and treated each with careful regard and respect. And, except for the stellar results, they cleaned up so well you’d never know they were here. Exactly what I wanted! No one else but Star Pruners will ever touch my yard again. Oh, and did I mention Scott responded right away when I called?

Star Pruners saved my shrubs! I had been told that they would need to be torn out, but Scott assured me that this was not the case -- they just needed some love. I came home today to see the results of their work, and I was blown away! It looks FANTASTIC! Star Pruners: The best in the business!

I called and Scott and came right out. I really appreciated his honesty. He felt my tree was a little too tall for him to do and he referred me to another company. He followed through right away and texted me the other company’s name and number. I will definitely use Star Pruners for any other pruning needs that I may have in the future. I highly recommend Star Pruners!

Never have my hedges, shrubs, etc. looked so good! Scott & his crew were meticulous and the cleanup was stellar. Not only will I hire them again but will recommend then to everyone I know.

Incredible work and great price to prune my arborvitae. Scott's crew was wonderful and very meticulous. I will definitely use them again.

I was very impressed with Scott’s team and the work they did on my backyard. They handled the difficult task of pruning my gigantic arborvitae’s. They did it very professionally and with a smile on their faces! They were easy to work with and even gave me recommendations on some of my other trees. I’m seriously considering bringing them back next Spring. Thanks guys! God bless!

Scott and his crew did a fantastic job restoring trees and other plantings that had become overgrown and damaged from weather and years of neglect and improper pruning done by others. I especially appreciate Scott's caring and concern for how my landscape looks and his willingness to explain and demonstrate proper pruning techniques while he worked. I highly recommend Star Pruners and plan to use Scott and his crew again.

Scott has helped us out several times in our yard. His team and he are punctual. Scott’s follow up has been spot on. The quality of the work is excellent. He is knowledge about soil, trees, shrubs, wind, sun...all the elements of our environment.

We appreciate that he spends time on the job site supervising his crew.

Thanks Star Pruners!

For the past several years, Star Pruners has beautifully maintained my dad’s landscaping. I called Scott about two weeks ago to remove over-planted bushes, trim/prune and clean up a huge mess left by a company who took out trees and removed the stumps. Scott promptly called me. He came out to my house to give me an estimate promising that he could complete the work within the next two weeks. His crew arrived on-time today and the work was completed. I cannot express how pleased I am by the end results. Great follow-up and customer service. I highly recommend “Star Pruners” and will definitely use them again in the future.

Scott and John are great to work with and do incredible work. They are meticulous with their craft and clean up on completion. Highly recommend!

Scott at Star Pruners is a professional who cares about what he does. He gave me terrific advise for my trees and aside from that, he went above and beyond in his work pruning. Looks like a different landscape now that he has done work here. I recommend him and his company with the highest possible recommendation. Great, great work! Thank you Scott!!👍👍

I will recommend Star Pruners to my friends. Scott and his team did a great job in my yard — a nice, pleasant, and hardworking crew. Kudos guys!

Scott and the team at Star Pruners do quality work. We have had them out multiple times to take care of some overgrown hedges and pruning various trees over the past few years, and each time they take such care to do an amazing job. The crew is efficient, respectful, tidy, and they leave the yard as if nobody was ever there. The pride they take in their work is clear. Scott has also been honest about work that is not suited for his team and given alternative recommendations, which is such a refreshing show of character. I would absolutely recommend Star Pruners.

Wow! We are so very impressed with the job Star Pruners did with our yard. The crew was amazing and our trees and shrubs have never looked better! Thank you for such outstanding service! We are customers for life!

They took my neglected, and abused Hawthorne and turned it into a thriving beautiful tree again. Even my neighbors made comments about the vast improvement, highly recommended!

Star Pruners did an AMAZING job on my arborvitae’s. They were professional, kind, and cleaned up everything. I highly recommend them if you’re looking for a business who truly knows what they’re doing at a VERY affordable rate.

Our yard was so overgrown with some trees so high we couldn't imagiine how they would prune them. Scott's crew worked together to get everything trimed up beautifully, safely and in no time. The entire yard looks fabulous. Thank you to a great group of pruners and arborists. They know what they are doing. You wil be pleased with their work.

We have used Star Pruners for years. They are professional, dependable, offer competitive pricing, and trustworthy. Highly recommend.

Scott and his crew always do a great job! He has given us advice on our trees, helped move shrubs and bushes around the yard, pruned our trees and shrubs, and planted a new flower garden after removing a diseased tree. I highly recommend Star Pruners!
