Benjamin did a great job for us on our new home inspection. He spent time with me on the phone after the inspection clarifying various items in the inspection. He was patient and kind and we really appreciated his time.

Ben was great! He showed up before us. He took time to answer any questions I had and to explain the potential for future repairs. He was thorough and made sure to inspect the attic and crawlspace as well. His report was very detailed and we highly recommend him!

Ben earns this 5 star review from a first time home buyer. Knowing that we were green in our experience, Ben thoroughly walked us through the items he was looking at. He spent extra time giving us maintenance tips on the HVAC unit and things to watch for. His report is well organized, complete, and a manual for future maintenance and repair tasks.

Did I mention he is punctual? As in, extremely punctual. Being a veteran, this is no surprise. We thank Ben for being pleasant, fun, thorough, timely, and organized.

Ben was thorough, professional yet personable, and willing to explain and make recommendations that included any expenses that might be necessary. He found things that the seller's previous inspection did not list. Thanks to him, I'm informed and comfortable with moving forward in my new home with clear expectations.

I FOUND FLOORING DEPT home depot Spanaway very rude I am a contractor and I will not ever buy from your FLOORING DEPT anymore. I feel they should be replaced.it was Thursday's morning day crew. Night crew is worse.

DO NOT USE THEIR CUSTOM INSTALLS!!! Spent over $20k on windows almost a year ago and they still aren't installed correctly. 7 days I have taken off work for them to work on my house, 4 separate companies have worked on my house. 3 separate orders for them to fix the windows they ordered wrong. I have a leaking window for over 2 months that has caused water damage, and keep getting the run around. I found out multiple windows still were not installed correctly. Everyone that has been involved definitely are not being held accountable or holding others accountable. Corporate isn't helpful! Their project managers and planners don't follow up, or show up when they claim they would. I could write paragraphs on every terrible thing that has happened, but will give the biggest issues with the 1st team that showed up 3 hours late from Vancouver, WA. They took out every single window on the top floor and out of the kitchen the 1st day in the middle of winter & did not install them till the end of the day. They took all the remaining downstairs windows out the 2nd day. They were chucking the whole window outside from the 2nd story where my dogs walk. One of them stepped in dog crap; used one of my towels to clean it up, and then hid the towel behind some furniture. They also didn't actually seal the windows till the last day, meaning my house was cold for 3 days and tons of wasted electricity.

you ask for help and they never know anything. 🤔

Called to get a contractor out for doors. They took $40 and told me the contractor would call in 2-3 days. What they didn’t tell me was the contractor was booking out over three weeks just to give an estimate— I can only imagine how long it would take to actually do the work.

So I called back for a refund and they first told me I’d have to go to the store. I have a broken ankle right now, I’m not going to the store. Then they said call the store directly. I insisted that they took my money over the phone, they can give it back over the phone. Only after an interminable wait on hold did they do that.

Waste of time and money. We’ll do this job ourselves. I knew it was fishy the moment they took the deposit.

The Home Depot store located on 74th St in Tacoma, WA 98409 has provided a mix of positive and negative service when I shopped there in the past. Yet, today I was helped by Tre and he was so incredibly awesome I'm giving the store 5 stars! Tre went above and beyond to cut a large sheet of plywood for me when I needed to make several protest signs. Originally he had pointed me to the shelves of pre-cut plywood but after I explained that I needed several pieces of plywood and it would be far cheaper to just cut them fresh from a single large sheet of plywood - Tre jumped to work and fired up the store's saw like a superhero sans red cape.

Thank you Tre. You absolutely made my day today at Home Depot! It's people like you who make shoppers like me want to come back.
