We hired AC Electrical to do the rough in and finish work on our new build in 2022-23. Four months after bidding the work, AC demanded significant price increases: +$2200 for 320 amp service, +2k for a 50-amp circuit, +2.5k for an RV outlet, etc. Due to financing deadlines, we opted to just drop the items. Then AC refused to install the soffit lights we had paid for, claiming a defect in the soffits. No problem, we were willing to go with alternative lighting options. However, AC refused to reduce the price even though we would now have to supply the fixtures -- they claimed the labor for installing the fixtures equaled the cost of supplying the original soffit lights. Flash forward 6 months and they refused to install the light fixtures, leaving us to install them ourselves -- but still no refund. They left a live exterior wire buried in insulation behind siding and abandoned 2 electrical circuits, forcing us to pull permits and complete them ourselves. We have replaced 3 breakers and 2 outlets which have failed, corrected 3 additional outlets where the wires came undone in the wall, and replaced a junction box which fell out of the wall due to improper installation. The arc fault breakers for the microwave and for the office nuisance trip weekly. Less importantly, the owner of the company was simply hostile toward us, though we suspect a religious motivation there which might not affect the majority of customers. However, he was just as hostile to his employees, who clearly feared him. I fully understand being a tough boss to keep employees productive -- I do own three small businesses myself. But this went far beyond that -- it was inappropriate, abusive, and should never have been visible to the customer. We are now building a second home on the property and have opted to do the electrical ourselves. It is not complex work, that's why it only requires a vocational degree. It is just a bit time-consumptive. But that is highly preferrable to dealing with businesses like AC Electrical.

I'm updating my review because, although what happened cannot be undone, the phone call that I received from Jesse was an attempt to make it right, and I appreciate his honesty and willingness to try to accommodate my needs. As I said, mistakes happen and Jesse owned up to the mistake on the part of his staff, and even offered to pay my bill. I didn't take him up on his offer because thats not what I was expecting and it just didn't feel right. I just value his honesty.
I called this company on Jan 27 because I had lost electricity in half of my house. The soonest they could get me in was Feb 24. Since there were no other ones available I scheduled the appointment for 1130. Feb 24th arrives and noone shows up at 1130. I start thinking maybe I got the time wrong and it was supposed to be 130. So I wait. 130 comes and goes and still noone shows up. So I call their office. The person I talk to confirms all my information is in their system,, but tells me there was no appointment! Ive never been a customer so how did they get my information? She was apologetic and blamed it on "miscommunication" but it was an error on their part. She says she can get me on the schedule for Mar 5, which means another week. I know mistakes happen but don't try to make it seem like I misunderstood. You just failed to follow through.

Professional, great communication, absolutely by far one of the best contractors i have hired. Would use again if needed and will be using for my business as well. Price was fair and in line with the other estimates i recieved. From estimate to completion is solid 5 stars

Vets Electric helped troubleshoot the reason a new ceiling fan wasn’t working. Followed up on the support ticket with the manufacturer and returned to install the replacement receiver for no extra charge to me. Cheerful, can do attitudes all around!

I really like the company Michael came to our home he was very friendly he explained what he was doing and it's important to have honesty and Michael and the company is honest I am so happy I found them. You will not be disappointed with Vets Electric! Thanks for the great work!

Vet's Electric does it again!!!!

Once again, Vets Electric was tasked with another electrical challenge...I am happy to state that not only did they rise to this challenge, but also continued to demonstrate superlative work skill and knowledge. The task they were asked to complete was performed flawlessly, and even took almost an hour less of work time then originally estimated. Strongly recommend Vets Electric for any electrical undertaking...

Very happy with our service. Brandon was very professional and got the job done quick. He was able to troubleshoot the electrical issue and figure out a solution. Plus he made sure to clean up everything!

Update: After the initial review, I was promptly called by the owner and had someone out in 2 days to correct the issue. They were apologetic and not only fixed our fan, but checked all other installed fans to make sure they were installed properly.

The two techs showed up early, were friendly and got the job done quickly. They showed my husband where the install went wrong and what was being installed to correct the issue. We will use them in the future after going above and beyond to correct their mistake.

We hired them in 2018 for an array of things. They seemed to do excellent work. But we have a room we have almost never used, finally put our newborn in there and the fan they installed fell out of the ceiling while turning the light on. It looks as if they installed the fan with the light box hardware instead of fan box hardware. Although they seemed to do good work, a fan should night fall out of the ceiling 3 years later. Extremely disappointing.

Everyone I dealt with was very friendly and accomodating. They kept in touch and were able to move my appointment to an earlier time to take care of my issue.

They guys who came out were very nice and walked me through everything they were checking. I would definitely use Vet’s Electric for any future needs.

I was looking for an electrician to do several updating items after my longstanding electron had retired. From the initial inquiry contact with office staff to the electrical services provided by Jacob I have appreciated the courteous, clear, responsive communications. In total I have had seven different items updated or newly installed and am vey pleased with each one. I would recommend (and have already recommended) this service and Jacob.

I was very pleased with the work Chris & Brandon did. They were prompt, efficient and showed up on time and...cleaned up at the end of the day. Chris kept me informed & answered all my questions. Cassie was great & a great “asset” to the company. She worked around my schedule. I would highly recommend them!

I was in need of an outlet added to our master bedroom since we purchased an indoor sauna that required a 20 amp on its own breaker. I called at least 6 places and only 3 people got back to me. I guess since the housing market is in a boom the demand of contractors has increased. Cassie at Vets called me within an hour if not sooner of me searching on HomeAdvisor. Not only were they prompt in a return call but she was very informative and upfront about cost and time. They came out and completed the job within a week and did an excellent job. For the same job, when I did have others get back to me, I got quoted 3-4x times the cost of what Vets charged and some astronomical reasons of why. Vets is very reasonable and very professional. They have continued to follow up ensuring we are happy and all permits are taken care of.

Vet Electric Company did a highly professional. Their staff is highly professional and went beyond of what was expected. I am a veteran and received the service and price promised. If you need an electrician I recommend to get an estimate from them. My family and I will go back to them for future electrical work.

Fair and Competitive rates! I had a difficult wiring project that was completed in time and in line with the estimate. The work was clean and tidy even during the project. Brandon my installer was top notch! Thank you for your help in re-wiring my kitchen, bath, and hallway.

This is the second time I used them. The first time they installed ceiling fans and made a mistake. However, they quickly got a drywall guy in a fixed the mistake, so I used them again because I appreciated the quick fix. And I had no issues that was about three years ago. I used them again, for a faulty breaker. Both individuals were professional, and nice. I would recommend Vets Electric.

Brandon was able to replace the old wiring to my water heater and hook it up! Another company told me it would have been a $1300 repair for the electrical work but vets electric charged less than a 1/4 of that price. Brandon showed up early and finished everything quickly and professionally. I will recommend Vets Electric to anyone who needs an electrician!
