Apex tree experts are doing my neighbors trees . I am handicap and they came pounding on my door like police to move my cars which I had to wait for my daughter to come move them. then went thru my yard moving my stuff to accommodate their needs. They had plenty room to keep it next door . We have saw dust all over my yard in my pool , they are throwing brushes in my yard they dropped branches which damaged the top of my yard and garbage bins, then when I came out I told them I didn’t give them permission to use my yard and make a huge mess and the guy laughed at me and stayed in my yard and continued and stated they don’t clean up the debri . But can trespass and leave a mess ? Company owner need to come fix my bins and clean my yard up as I can’t do it 👎🏼

Apex Tree Experts were great and their process went nice and smooth. They were right on bid and got everything done in a timely manner. I would have liked to know the whole process a bit better before I called up, but I've posted that on the bottom of this review.

The guys who came out to our house were super polite. We gave them coffee on a wet and cold day, and they were super appreciative. They worked as quick as was safe. We talked a bit as they packed up (even gave us some apple pruning tips and recommendations on good trees to plant, they are tree experts), and they went on their way.

They had two guys up our trees cutting them down at the same time, and one on the ground helping the climbers and looking out hazards where the trees dropped. I had them leave the trees where they dropped, to save a bit of money (though I get to do the work of sawing it up on my own now).

I would definitely recommend Apex to a friend, acquaintance, or stranger.

Here's the process, roughly:
- Call them up, and they'll come out for a bid in a week or so
- With the bidder, you'll figure out what is best for your situation
- Agree on the work to be done
- You give them 20% payment up front
- Then they'll set an appointment to have the crew out to you
- The appointment may be set out on the order of a month or so
- You'll get a confirmation text the day before
- Day of, they show up
- We showed them what we wanted done, but the bidder also marked the trees
- They work til it's done and go on their way
- You get an invoice later that day or the next.

Great service! They started early, and got the job done in one day. They spent lots of time on cleanup, too! Will hire again!

Apex Tree Experts were great to work with. I had used them on another project in 2015. It was a pleasure to watch the guys as they attacked one of the biggest over-grown Laurel hedges ever!! They went out of their way to remove all the small bits of leaves and trash that had been under the hedges....Again, a pleasure to work with. Thank you!

APEX did a superb job in pruning our Sweet Gum tree that after 30+ years, needed some tidying. It still retains its great shape, but lower branches removed improves it a lot.
Appreciate their thorough cleanup, too. Highly recommend!

I had an excellent experience with Apex trimming a large evergreen in my front yard. Daniel came out to provide the quote - he asked great questions to be sure we were addressing the right issues (mostly related to the level of shed onto my neighbor's roof and driveway) and prioritizing the health of the tree. Scheduling and payment was very easy through the main office (they are SO pleasant and professional!), and when the day came the crew arrived as planned, did a beautiful job on the tree (neighbor was very pleased), and cleaned up all tree debris before leaving. Also, their price came in far below the other quotes I received and they responded in a much more timely manner than other companies. Really impressed and will definitely be using them again.

The Apex crew were total pros. Fast, efficient, respectful of our property, and very good listeners when we went over details. I would recommend Apex and would use them again.

Had one tree leaning on a fence, and 2 that were in declining health. While not the cheapest estimate I received, the way they discussed removing the tree on the fence made me feel better about their approach.

All three trees (and one that was pruned) were done in just a couple hours, in the pouring rain.

This was the second time I've called on them to help with trees, and I can see myself reaching out to them in the future.

Great experience. Worked very fast, yet took great care to take a large tree down safely. Great cleanup afterwards, and very little damage to the lawn and plants in my yard.

From the quote, to the office communications, and especially for the crew that did an excellent job of taking down a tricky leaning tree which threatened our house, the fence between my property and the neighbors, a phone line, and the other nearby trees and plants, I am very satisfied with the job done by Apex Tree Experts. They took it down with expert precision and completed the job as scheduled.

I had 2 very large Linden’s and a locust in my backyard in hard to reach areas. Apex did a great job maneuvering the tight spots and removing those huge trees without damaging my fence, garden or pond. Amazing! I appreciate the integrity and professional work.

The wife and I had an entire hedge (37 bushes) of Red Tipped Photinias that was dying, and sadly couldn't be saved after two years of trying. We decided that we wanted to cut them down and start with a blank slate. What we now needed was all the debris removed after we cut them down. We called around for a few quotes and decided on Apex.

Apex was able to beat all the competitors on price by a few hundred dollars! They were a few weeks out to be able to do the job for us and I now know why. Apex was fast, provided the best price, had great communication, and was on time.

The office staff was extremely kind, also very helpful about setting up appointment times. She also explained the questions I had promptly. The guys that came out worked fast and hard and got all the bushes chipped in about 30 minutes. Talk about fast! They raked up any left over debris and even used a leaf blower to leave the entire area spotless.

We now have a blank slate and can plant something new, as well as a new fence.

I highly recommend Apex and will be using them in the future!

Dan Folk was wonderful when I met with him to discuss some of the work we wanted done. And, the 3-man crew that came out yesterday was exceptional! They showed up on time, were friendly and willingly answered my curiosity questions, worked tirelessly the whole time they were here and were very thorough about the cleanup afterwards. I used Apex Tree Experts Services about 5 years ago and was happy with the quality of their service then. I'm happy to say I was highly pleased once again with their service yesterday. They remain on my "highly recommended" list!

With lately having more wind storms that caused some trees falling and knocked out my next door neighbor, and trees have grown tall and damaging my shed, I decided to cut all cotton trees in the back yard. Therefore, I used Apex Tree Experts on 3/10/2021 to cut 10 different sizes (from huge trees to medium sizes) of cotton trees. The 2 arborists and 4 crews came on time before 9am. They were professional, prepared, and maintained safety of their crews and my household who were watching their works. I even took lots of videos and pictures. After cutting those trees, they cleaned the surrounding areas. I was thankful and impressed of their quality and expertise. We hired Apex Tree Experts to trim trees in the City of Tacoma's Right of Way next to our office building and the service provided was amazing! After the work, the trees and area after cleanup looked better then before the crew arrived on site. Apex was communicative from the beginning to the end and anywhere in between if questions needed answers. We highly recommend Apex Tree Experts.

From Jim, the Estimator, to Jennifer in the office, I received excellent customer service. Customer service is a rare attribute to find these days and this company has, "customer care" in every department. I've had other treat service companies come out and leave debris all over the ground and some of my plants trampled on. I know plants get damaged when trees get trimmed, but Apex has been very careful to not damage the plants and they cleaned up the area after the job was complete. I would definitely recommend them others and I will use them again. Thank you Apex!

Our experience with Apex was pretty good. Their quote was very reasonable, and they were flexible and worked around our weird days off (scheduling months in advance definitely helped us.) There was a bit of miscommunication with the prep discussed at our inspection versus what the crew needed day-of. But luckily we were home each day to respond to their needs. They were down to one tree-climber for our project so it took a couple more days than originally anticipated, but again they were very accommodating with our schedule. Their clean up with little branch removal and leaf blowers was very thorough and no complaints from our neighbors. I look forward to bringing them out in a couple years when our trees need to be trimmed again.

We are extremely pleased with APEX Tree Experts. Everyone, from this business are extremely friendly, positive, helpful, & very professional. From our initial phone call to paying our bill when the job was completed was such a breeze! Very easy!
We had one tree trimmed & taken care of, so it will stay healthy for years to come.
And we also had a 30-40 foot tree cut down, removed, & the stump ground down to mulch. All tree trimmings, limbs, & trunk were completely shredded & removed. Our yard & driveway were cleaned as well.
No leftover debris. They even took care of calling & getting the city to come mark & identify gas & utility lines & such.
They are awesome! Very professional!

What a great experience from start to finish with Apex Tree Experts. Jennifer did a fantastic job behind the scenes with communication and follow up. The crew removed a 60' cedar in just a few hours. I could not have asked for a better job and a better crew. Everyone was respectful and professional and I am happy to have found a company that can meet my tree care needs.
