Reasonable price for a light switch change over to an electric outlet. Ben was great. Arrived on time. Answered all my questions. I will use them again.

I have hired Prairie Electric many times since purchasing my home in 2004. However, if Ben had been the first electrician they had sent, I would not have been a repeat customer. He complained about the long list of things in the work order. He complained about how short the wires were in boxes. He complained about the dryer running and humid air being near him while he worked. He did not clean up after himself. There were wire fragments, wire caps, bits of plastic, and boxes left everywhere. He did not ask before moving anything, including breakable glass objects. When he needed to turn off a breaker to do work, instead of asking if I already knew which breaker it was, he started flipping them all, despite my very loud protests. I work from home and his actions cut off my internet while everything reset. I was in a video meeting at the time. My previous outdoor light fixtures worked just fine with smart switches. Ben installed new light fixtures but couldn't figure out how to get them to work with the smart switches, so I had to dig out my old boxes and have him install the old switches. I will have someone else swap the switches back later. Prairie Electric does have great electricians. Just make sure you don't get Ben.

Prairie electric did a real good job, particularly on the installation. I got a call the day before to remind me that they would be coming out, and they arrived on time. The job was a two day affair involving multiple new circuits and a new sub panel, all of which were installed in a professional manner and passed inspection. Bobby and Chris were very easy to work with and answered a host of questions.

This company is by far the best! They were out to do my small job within a matter of hours. The electrician, Ty was OUTSTANDING! Highly recommend Prarie Electric and Ty!

We trust Prairie. Plain and Simple. Besides wiring our entire house a few years back, we just hired them to install a new back up generator. Mark, Ryan, Ben, Kyle, and Ty were professional, responsive, communicative, and did the absolute highest quality work. We had a few hiccups on our latest job due to one of their sub-contractors performing poorly and they went above and beyond to make it right and to make sure I was 100% satisfied. Do yourself a favor, if you are reading this review, just call Prairie for your electrical needs and definitely use them for a back-up generator if you are in the market. No need to go anywhere else for the best quality, workmanship, & customer service. We will do business with no other electrical company, PE customer for life!

had a generator plug and breaker retro-fit for a plug in for my generator. the technician was very professional and explained everything for the procedure to follow when the power does go out. GREAT JOB

It was $1,087.00 to install to plugins into our floor so we can plug in our two side lamps and couch so no one could see the wires. Kyle was able to install it within 3 hours. Then Kyle had it quick inspection done over the phone and it passed the inspection with flying colors. My house looks so much better without those wires being seen thank you Kyle for making this possible today.

Prairie Electric has done all our electric work over the years from kitchen and bathroom remodeling to installing a Generac generator. The latest was a custom installation of 12 recessed lights with dimmers in the updated family room. Good for hobby work or working out on the bright setting, or theater setting for watching movies or gaming/flight simulator. Only took the four hours from start to finish.

We needed an outlet installed in a powder bath for a bidet. We called Prairie Electric because they had installed exterior outlets for our landscape lighting and ran power to our water feature. They did an outstanding job! So, when we needed additional electrical work we knew who to call. And, they exceeded expectations once again. Ben came out with another electrician and expertly installed a new dedicated circuit for the new outlet, running the wire from the panel in our garage, up through the attic and down a wall to the bathroom. They made it look easy! Very professional and knowledgeable. Highly recommend Prairie Electric!

Prairie Electric did a replacement gable end exhaust fan. The two electricians were both very professional, efficient, listened to my concerns, and they explained the nuances of their work and installation! I definitely plan to use them for a few other projects that I wished I had known to set up when I called on the fan!

I blew a circuit breaker today (Sunday) vacuuming. No power to half my downstairs, including the family room where the TV is. Normally, I would call during normal business hours but with a 3 year old grandson heading over tomorrow (preschool is closed because of President's Day) it would not be fun without his small dose of Paw Patrol. So, yes this was a 911 Emergency (!!) in Grandma's book.

Ben got here within an hour of my call, replaced the problem breaker in addition to another that was loose. He inspected the entire panel, vacuumed it out, and replaced the screws on the front door, replacing non-code shorter ones.

It was the rapid response from Prairie Electric, and Ben just being an overall great guy to work with that impressed.

The electrician and his apprentice were very professional and knowledgeable. They were quick and efficient wiring up my water heater. They left the area cleaner than they found it when the finished. I'll be having Prairie Electric out to do any future work.

The Prairie team were excellent to work with (Thank you Jon, Donica, and Ryan). We had Prairie perform a service panel replacement and their initial quote, ongoing communication, and scheduling were all performed professionally and as stated. We were away when the work was done; and they kept the job secure and clean unsupervised. They showed up and performed the work and had the inspection the next day. We recently had Prairie Electric install a 26kw Kohler whole-home generator at our home on the coast. The various quotes received were very close if not identical in terms of scope of work and number of load controllers on various circuits, however Prairie's quote was the least expensive. The electricians arrived on time and did a fantastic and very neat/clean job on the install, that was anything but easy given the location chosen for the generator. We have two 200 amp sub panels and an additional panel in the ADU which all required load controllers on certain circuits, and the install of the new boxes for the load controllers was done neatly and flush to the wall. The electricians even used a laser-level to ensure the new 70'+ cable runs form the ATS to the generator were level and with excellent attention to detail. We highly recommend them!

I am a licensed painting contractor in Vancouver WA, and I have to say, these guys are the best. Reasonable pricing, because you get what you paid for adage. Prairie electric is super courteous, professional and fast. I am never using another electrician outfit.
