Called on a Saturday, after their closing time, and still they answered the phone. I left word for Andrew Baker to call me on Monday. He called me back Monday morning. Very impressed on how easy they were to communicate with. I needed to find out how much it would cost to replace 2 sprinkler heads and adjust one. By the next day I had received a quote to my e-mail. Again, very impressed. If I should ever need a landscaper, he will be the one I will call. He was recommeded to me from a friend who has been using him for lawn service for 2 years, she had no complaints at all, and her lawn looks great. :-)

We had tried to get several lawn care companies to come out and do lawn maintenance, however it seemed nobody wanted our business. Then one day I called Neighborhood Lawn Care left a voice mail message and what do you know Andrew called me back, scheduled a time to meet with me, gave a quote and said we would be on his Friday route. We were so excited the first Friday they came and each Friday after. They got our flower beds and yard back into shape.

Andrew & Kelly are so amazing and lovely to work with. It is very evident that they truly care about their customers and want them to be happy. They listen to your needs and go above & beyond to ensure you are satisfied with the experience. Highly recommend!!!

We have depended on Neighborhood Lawn Care for our lawn care needs for five years and have never been disappointed with their service! They go above and beyond to keep our (large) yard looking great on a regular basis. When I have additional requests, that is not a part of our service, they are always willing to get it done in a timely manner. Their service, professionalism, and dependability are worth of every dollar.

I would happily recommend NLC! They went above and beyond to help me out of a landscaping jam. They were wonderful to deal with, responsive, fairly priced, and did great work. In a world where customer service is usually an afterthought, NLC was a refreshing find! If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Thanks Andrew and crew!

Update to add more details above the *** line: this company is stating my issues with a previous landscaper inaccurately and unnecessarily to save their reputation and give valid cause to the treatment I received. I am not and have not been in any lawsuit with any landscaper, including the one they have mentioned in their reply. It is true I told them another company had told me I did not need the major work done of replacing my French drain. This does not mean I take their opinion as fact, hence why I desired this "reputable" company's professional opinion and was willing to pay for whatever was suggested. I was, in fact, told that the scheduler "would not" send the owner over to give me my quote because it was "all the way out there" which indicates out of their way. Again I will state, I was flexible with when my job could be done and I was not ever told there were staffing issues. Only that my job couldn't be done in time. Who's time frame? Theirs. Because I clearly stated I need work done to save myself at least 3 days of work by myself. The harsh treatment she is referring to is my pointed questioning of her disrespectful whispering and my raised voice trying to make my point as she continually talked over me to try and "shut [me] up" as I heard her whisper to whoever was near her.

It is clear my job was not worth enough for them at the end of the day compared to the other jobs "going into the schedule" because I couldn't guarantee the extent of work that needed to be done and my honesty was about what I was told by another company became ammo to use against me. I'm sure that if this review is mentioned the co-owner/scheduler will deny all of this, twist what I have said and what she said as well as their intentions. From someone who has been burned by awful landscapers that think it's ok to do shoddy work and now landscapers that think it's ok to do what this company has done to their potential clients...please think again! Save yourself the headache and let down!

I was scheduled to get a quote fromthis company for about about a month out from when I initially contacted them. I have had a rough time with my backyard and needed expertise from this company to compare against other quotes. I received this referral from a reputable source and had high hopes. They called me twice to reschedule to see me same day for my quote, but I was unavailable due to major life things I could not move around like chemotherapy. That was no problem for them until I got called today 4/23, 3 days before my appointment on 4/26 to basically cancel my appointment because my potential job start date wouldn't be until July. I had no issues with this because my initially time sensitive work, became not time sensitive. I still needed a days worth of work done. There was no reasoning with the scheduler. Basically I was told that my job was not worth the owner's time "to go all the way over there" to my home to confirm what I did/didn't need done. I tried to explain that I do need work done, just maybe not the big ticket paying job of replacing my French drain depending on what the owner said. This scheduler had no compassion for my situation and gave me no solutions other than "we suggest you find someone else to do your work". Not helpful at all. To make it all worse, I heard whisperings of "oh my God" and "just stop" or something along those lines as I was trying to speak my peace to this person. Completely unprofessional and I am sure this company will try to deny all that I've said. No problem. I will never recommend this company and I suggest you all think hard before scheduling with them if you are a potential new client - they might cancel your calendar appointment and screw you all up because you can't take their wait-list appointments and your job isn't worthy enough! This is no way to run a business in an already terrible environment for landscapers. You've put yourself in the category of the ones that do poor work with your poor customer service and retention!

Neighborhood lawn care is phenomenal at what they do., attention to detail, friendly,Very skilled team. Exceptional communication, very timely, .Made our arbavita wall into a beautiful arbavita fence! Exactly what we wanted. They will be back doing more work for us for sure! Andrew did an absolutely outstanding job of designing and installing our irrigation system for our large lot that included raised garden beds, lawn, trees and many plants. His work was completed in a timely manner, he was always in communication with us, and we were extremely pleased with the results. Andrew's company Neighborhood Lawn Care also does the regular maintenance on our property for the last few years and we've always been completely satisfied. Reliable, professional, very competent and completely trustworthy. I'd highly recommend Andrew and his company for any work you might be considering.

We had about a 1000sqft of sod laid down. They did an excellent job. Very knowledgeable and thorough to make sure it was perfectly leveled and compacted. They went above and beyond with helping me fine tune my irrigation system. Highly recommend

We have been using Neighborhood Lawn Care since June 2019 and are very pleased with the service Andrew and Kelly provide. They are very prompt in replying to phone calls or emails. We appreciate Andrew’s expertise and his willingness to research plants, conditions, etc when unfamiliar. Love the ease of online billing too. I don’t have a problem with cost of monthly service because I know my yard is being well cared for whether I’m home or away. Thank you Andrew and Kelly for the excellent service you provide!

Andrew first designed an irrigation system that took into account our complex yard layout and then, through hard work (and in January!), proceeded to install it over the course of a week. My wife and I are delighted with the outcome! Our lawn and plants have never been so happy! Andrew is also a helluva nice guy, easy to communicate and problem-solve with.

Since we moved in to our new-to-us house, Neighborhood Lawn Care has helped us with several outside projects: new front lawn, revitalized the back lawn, a new underground gutter drain system, gutter cleaning, planting a new Dogwood, a new sprinkler system controller, and dialing in our sprinkler system.
Andrew and Kelly have become our go-to experts. They have both patiently fielded our lawn and landscaping questions, and have given us solutions that fit our yard. We are really happy with their service, and will continue to work with them.

Such great service & amazing care! The guys were absolutely amazing and I am so glad we went with this business. They absolutely blew us out of the water with the results and care in handling our lawn. Not only that, but they chased my dog 5 blocks over when she saw an opportunity to be free. They are a family owned business and Andrew the owner is so sweet and personable, goes above and beyond. The wife Kelly is so sweet, and she did amazing digital renderings for our front and backyard to help us visualize potential options. It was so helpful to see it before deciding, and I highly recommend others try it too. I became a customer because they took such great care of my neighbors yard, and I’m glad I hired them!

After moving in, our lawn was badly overgrown and we didn't know how to work the irrigation system. These folks got our lawn under control, and Andrew came out and spent a while turning on the irrigation system, showing us how to operate it, and repaired several dozen holes the squirrels had made in the tubing. All our plants and garden would have died without his help! All their work has been good quality, and their communication is fantastic.

I had Andrew come out and take a look at my sprinkler system last year that hadn't been used for about 5 years. This system was put in by the previous owners some time before 2000. He had to fix the main valve location before we could test the entire system and found lots of issues. He was very professional, courteous and punctual. He was upfront with the costs which I thought were very reasonable, and I was very pleased with his work. I felt he went above and beyond with working with the existing sprinkler system. I have him coming back to help get my front lawn back into shape this spring. Very excited. Would definitely recommend Neighborhood Lawn Care for any projects you need help with.

We returned from vacation to a huge dry patch in our backyard. I did my own due diligence to figure out why that particular sprinkler head was no longer producing water and reached the point where all my internet based research was fruitless. Andrew with Neighborhood Lawn Care came to the rescue. I could not have had a better experience. Andrew was kind and patient enough to let me tag along and ask questions as he worked though the steps of troubleshooting the issue. He explained everything he was doing and gave informed suggestions for other steps I could take on my own to maintain and update my irrigation system. I learned more from Andrew in the hour or so I spent with him in my backyard than I did from countless hours spent watching YouTube videos and searching the internet. On top of all that, the price was more than reasonable for the work that was done. 10/10 highly recommend!

We are still working on a project but Kelly and Andrew have been extremely patient and helpful with planning and executing our ideas! So far we love their work!
