I don’t usually write reviews, but I feel like I need to given the level of service that Home Comfort Heating and Cooling provided us. If you’re looking for someone that puts the required time into a job, actually cares how the work is done, and has the best prices, look no further. Home Comfort put in two brand new gas furnaces for us of a higher quality and for considerably less money than five other HVAC businesses in the area quoted me for their lowest level units. Not only that, but the attention to detail and the care with which the work was done was unlike anything I’ve ever seen; he went above and beyond during the installation by adding fresh air intakes, power switches, newly fabricated filter holders, A/C water safety shutoffs, and several other improvements, all without adding to the original quoted price! He also was very careful and courteous in our house, which we really appreciated and never see from technicians; he laid plastic down over the carpet, sanitized everything, and he even brought two pairs of shoes, one for inside and one for outside; this all scored major points with the wifey since she didn’t have an all-day clean up to do after the installs. For anyone reading this, the last thing I’ll say is to not simply settle for one of the other HVAC companies in the area and their poor effort, care, and pricing just because they're bigger or come up first in a Google search; give Home Comfort a shot instead.

Nelson came out the same week I called, even during the busy season. Within an hour he diagnosed the problem and gave me a very reasonable quote. I now have working AC in the house and couldn't be happier with the speed, friendliness, and above and beyond customer service he provided. I am absolutely a customer for life and would highly recommend!

I have had this company out several times to work on my aging units. The technician is always courteous and prompt. He responds quickly when you place a service call. Having used other HVAC businesses in the past, I can assure you that this company offers extremely good prices and high quality work. The technician found air flow issues that others had overlooked. You really can’t go wrong by hiring Home Comfort Heating and Cooling. I won’t use anyone else.

I wanted to update this review to say that Nelson replaced our unit this past Spring with a new one! Price was very reasonable and we are very happy with our new unit and his services.

I've used Home Comfort for several years now, first to repair my aging A/C system, then ultimately to replace it, then later to install two separate ductless systems in other locations. Nelson proved himself trustworthy from the beginning. He is concerned with giving his customers what they need, not simply drumming up the biggest/highest-paying project for himself. And he always backs up his installations with service calls to fix/adjust if everything doesn't work perfectly from the start. Home Comfort is very responsive when emergencies arrive, and is always on time for appointments.

Great place to buy HVAC supplies and TRANE units!! It's hard to stop a Trane!!

Great HVAC supply house. Very friendly and knowledgeable staff. They deal in Trane and Mitsubishi but carry a wide variety of well stocked universal parts and hvac supplys. Good quality sheetmetal and ductwork. Decent prices as well.

As always, my a/c needed service on 90 degree days. Thompson responded fast and fixed problem in just a frw minutes. Jon, the tech, was fantastic.

I was charged $132 plumber shows up tells me there’s no issues with my lines and I didn’t owe him anything . A week later I get a bill in the mail for a $132 for parts/labor/service call . So on Monday I call and point this out and was told it’s $132 if he didn’t do any work or not . This wasn’t an emergency call and it took about a week for them to even show up but I wasn’t rushing them . They did work previously for me and I was billed the same amount but decided to use them again because of honesty but wasn’t expecting a bill especially when no work was done and the man was under my house for less then 5 mins . About 2 years ago I called another plumbing company who did the same thing and found no issues and never billed me but this one did I’m just posting this review as a warning to any customer who uses them to make sure not to use this company unless you know that work needs to be done unless you like paying company’s for work that doesn’t need to be done . The lady on the phone was also a bit snappy with me and instead of working things out with me she just plainly tells me I’m stuck paying it and there’s nothing they were doing about it so in the future I’ll use someone else . BUYER BEWARE ** plumber told me on the phone that everything looked good and I didn’t owe them anything but you’ll still get billed . The first time I used them the plumber checked with me and told me a $150 quote even before he started the work so it seems fishy to me now I’m being billed for work that wasn’t even done

Called before 830a on Friday for sewer issue. Was told I was 2nd on the list and plumber would call around 11a to 12p. At 1.30p I called back, was told the plumber would call when on the way. Called several times between 4p and 5p and got voice-mail. No one ever called or showed up.

I received no call. I work from home, was here all day and no call. I'd be happy to show you my phone

I just scheduled a service call for my home. My hot water line is busted and it was an emergency. I scheduled on the 8th and they where supposed to call me before they came this morning from 8:30 am. At 11 I called to ask what the problem was and I was told that he was in his office and she would have him come by immediately. They never called or showed and I had to make an appointment with another company. Shameful that kind of business to do that to a person.

Salesman, Evan Ward, was very professional, listened to what I wanted & needed for my home & quoted a new HVAC system. Installers arrived on time & did a great job of replacing old unit.

Jacob did a great job installing our new furnace. He was very professional and lead us through the whole process to get the best unit to fit our needs. The house is warm and cozy now!!

I have used E.J. Thompson & Son for years for my heating/cooling and plumbing needs. Their technicians have always been reliable and courteous, and I have always been pleased with their work.

I have used E.J. Thompson & Son several times. I have called them for several plumbing issues. They always showed up promptly and did a very professional job. They explained the problems in detail and my options and prices for repairs. I also had them install an all new HVAC system and tankless water heater. I had a consultation with John and he went over all my options and e-mailed me a detailed estimate with several options and pricing for each. The install was smooth and has worked well since. They do great work, are absolutely honest and trustworthy, and don't try to "up sell" you in any way. They have gone above and beyond for my family and I. I would highly recommend them for any HVAC or plumbing needs!

I must say EJ Thompson out did there selves this week! We have had a wonderful start to finish experience with Evan our sales guy, Zack Knight & Anthony Olson our installation guys, and Curtis with the floors! We contact Ej Thompson on Thursday last week and the guys finished the job today! Our laundry room was not an easy project.. they ripped floors out and replaced sub floor and flooring.. new base boards and installed the furnace and made it look Easy! They were able to work with our budget and very quick to respond. Evan and Curtis did wonderful dealing with my particular wishes and made our old early 50’s laundry room come to life!! We will be speaking your name to all who come our way! Thank you all again for all your hard work we appreciate all that you did.

Scheduled a tech to come out and diagnose an AC issue. I will say this was during a busy time of the year so I was more than reasonable with any delays in appointment times and such. I requested a diagnostic and a check of the coolant level. Tech spent 10 minutes at the house and replaced a capacitor on the outdoor unit and left without even telling my partner he was done. I figured it was just due to being extremely busy and the unit was turning on and working. The unit froze up within the hour and had to be turned off. Upon reviewing the outside unit I discovered that the tech left the old part just lying in my yard. I emailed the company via the form online to ask if the coolant had been checked and what those readings were and received no response. I paid the bill, but should have charged a $10 part disposal fee. Left a note on the invoice and still never received any type of response. Can't say based on my experience that I would recommend anyone to use their services.

I called Wednesday and scheduled them to come out to our home Friday to look at a leaking bathtub. After not hearing anything at noon on Friday I called and asked what time frame they would be coming and the woman said “later this afternoon, they will call you before they head your way.” Waited until 4:00 pm and never heard anything. Tried calling their main line 5-6 times and got voicemail. No one ever showed up for the appointment and I never got a call back. Unprofessional and unreliable.

Called to get a tub drain replaced. Was given a quote over the phone of $250. I accepted then scheduled. First appointment was a no show, and didn't call until that evening. Second had someone coming to quote (not do the scheduled work), Third appointment finally comes and the guy was nice and confirms the phone quote I was given and was about what he would have quoted in person as well and the work gets done. However in the process he scratched my tub up with scratches up to 32inches away from the drain. I had to have the person who glazed the tub just 3 weeks prior come back out and fix the scratches because of the plumbers work. I was irritated but probably would have lived with it. However this weekend I get the bill and it is almost double the quote. I called in and asked why, and they told me they billed me for 3 hours but mentioned they didn't bill me for the time when the plumber had to leave to go get supplies. However after reviewing surveillance footage the time doesn't come close to what they billed us. The plumber was parked outside for less then 2 hours including time spent in the vehicle on the phone in the front seat (assuming documenting). I paid but requested a call back from a manager or someone over billing. The work day came and went and never received the requested call back. I can never recomend this company and to be honest would encourage anyone to stay away from at least their plumbing division. I was over charged and had to have the tub glaze fixed after just paying to do it.

I fully understand quotes can go over and also phone quotes aren't always exactly. Your employee confirmed this was a accurate quote when he arrived on site and specifically asked me what I was quoted. To be honest I probably would have accepted that without much issue had the other issues not compounded. The missed appointments (two really) would have also been accepted. However your guy did a number on the finish on my tub. I just paid to have it done a few weeks prior and had to call the guy back to fix that damage that should have never been done. I also mentioned this when I called to pay and requested to speak to someone about it. But again you never bothered to reach out to me after I attempted to contact you and left a message with your office. You also didn't respond to it in my review.

As far as the time, I was told on the phone I was charged for 3 hours and that is after they took off the time to get parts. I would be more than happy to provide time encoded video surveillance footage of your employee and his time.

Again the compounded issues are the problem and the refusal to return my call concerning the damage bothers me. I paid and it was probably a mistake without getting a returned call first. I would be happy to have you reach out to the company of who refinished our tub and repaired your damage to get their take on it.

Your employee was nice and he seemed to be professional however he did not notify us of the damage and we discovered after checking out the finished work.

I have used this company for years for all of my heating and plumbing needs. They are always responsive and professional. This week they did a duct cleaning and installed a new heating and cooling system in my home. I couldn't be happier with the installers and the equipment. I highly recommend them.

Had a wonderful visit by a nice fellow named Anthony. Our toilet tank line was pretty old and it had finally had enough and sprung a leak. Came in during the really early morning hours. And was surprised to get an affordable price for it too! This place can definitely help you if there's an emergency leak in the late hours. Should I ever need it I know who to call next time!
