Great place and amazing customer service. I recently purchased a large qty of plants. When I got home, i noticed I miscalculated and was short one that I had purchased. I called in and they let me come back and pick it up, no questions asked. Such a great place to do business. They also helped me find some hard to locate Sumac earlier this Spring and called me personally when they had some. Hands down best service around!

Always happy to go to Fitchburg Farms and to find more than what I need. I’ve been buying veggies and flowers in the past few years and I love the quality! Just going there is a wonderful experience because I love plants! Staff is always kind and welcoming!

Shopped for a Christmas tree at Fitchburg Farms on Friday. Took me all of 3 minutes to find the perfect tree. Super helpful and happy staff. Good price and a free boxed poinsettia to boot. Thank you Fitchburg Farms. Merry Christmas!

Always a beautiful experience-- the plants are healthy and robust and I find new varieties every trip! Staff are excellent-- warm, and professional. And they recycle all plastic pots, which is rare. I returned my flats and pots, along with those from other greenhouses, and was offered a 10 percent discount on that day's purchases.

Top notch service with a family atmosphere, if they don't have something on site they're incredibly expedient in getting it to you. Always friendly and on top of current trends and materials. And you can always count on John to tell you when you parked in the wrong spot when he loads your truck. I highly recommend them.

Called several days in advance for Saturday morning delivery and was told I was on top of the delivery list. They opened at 8 am but it is now almost noon and I was just informed my order is being loaded now...very unimpressive delivery scheduling. In addition, I ordered soil and rock and they are charging me for them to deliver each of these on separate trucks. The reason is they don't want the rock to get muddy if it rains; however, they don't make soil deliveries if it's raining. Sounds like an easy $40 to add to my bill. I'll be looking elsewhere next time.

The estimated amount of topsoil they told me I would need was way off *twice,* and this resulted in me paying MDS over $200 that I shouldn't have had to shell out if they'd given me a correct estimate the first time. The first delivery was far too little even though I ordered exactly what they recommended I would need, so I had to re-order more - and pay another delivery fee for that additional delivery ($109 + tax). The second delivery was so excessive that I ended up not needing well over half of what was delivered, and then had to figure out what to do with an unnecessary additional 3-3 1/2 cubic yards of topsoil sitting in my driveway. When I emailed to ask if they'd consider waiving the delivery fee for the second delivery of topsoil since their initial estimate was so far off, they ignored me and didn't respond.

For many years I have relied on Midwest Decorative Stone to supply my residential landscaping supplies (mulch, decorative stone and soil). They always leave it where I want it and I can count on them to do so whether or not I am home when they arrive.

Excellent service here, better prices! I have spent way more on cool pavers, steps, and stones than I thought I ever would. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable. The owner instantly impressed me with her passion. It's a busy place, but I got what I needed, and my landscaping looks so much better now! Between the service and the selection, I don't think it gets any better around Madison.

Genuinely helpful for the patio project I want to DIY - didn't make me feel less of a customer than a professional. Answered my questions about all aspects of the project, not just the aspects they would provide materials for. Prices are good too! I will update the review if I use them for the project.

Updating to five stars. The project went well and the staff was incredibly helpful at all stages of work. My stove was delayed in being shipped, but they were able to get it delivered the same day they received it.

Really great service and excellent prices. I appreciate that they don't treat you like a dummy if you don't know all the lingo. Additionally they will let you come load your own vehicle, which is great for the DIYer. Delivery was relatively cheap for quantity as well, which was a life-saver for some landscaping we did.

Always get my shredded hardwood mulch from them. Always perfect and always always friendly people! The delivery driver is always very courteous to leave the product in my driveway per my request. Whenever I need anything from my Landscaping, I always get it from Midwest.
