We have always been happy with Midwest Decorative Stone. We have had river rocks delivered twice and stopped by to chose some stone pavers for a path we were creating. I would recommend them.

I ordered 5 tons of granite cobbles and they were delivered that very afternoon. Size and quality were good. Delivery to my front lawn was smooth and carefully done. I ordered from a competitor last year and that didn't go well. Midwest also had a better price for my volume. I'll try them again in the future - thanks, Midwest!

Every year or two I call up MDS and order a truckload of shredded hardwood mulch. A courteous driver drops it exactly where I want it and takes my check. So easy to do business with them!

I have purchased mulch from Midwest Decorative Stone for over 20 years. I have always found them friendly, helpful, and efficient. Their drivers are careful about dropping off the mulch with attention to where i want it placed. I will continue to buy from them with pleasure.

I have been very satisfied with the customer service provided, from helping me figure out how many tons of stones I needed, to setting up a convenient delivery time, to the skill of the delivery person in dropping the stones where I wanted them. The stones are beautiful and are much less hassle than mulch /wood chips. This year will be my 4th delivery. I am truly a satisfied customer!

Even though my visit was a quick one—to order mulch delivery—the customer service was excellent. I was welcomed and it felt like they were happy to have my business. The person who took my order quickly mentioned which kind of mulch I had ordered in the past and how much had been delivered. That helped me make the right decision for this year. I am glad to support a local business that treated me well.

I ordered top soil--twice. As it turns out, this is not top soil but clay soil, full of weeds. Terrible quality and poor value. Also, when you order, they ask you when you want it delivered. I said "morning" and had a helper waiting with me for the soil to arrive, which finally happened around 2 pm. I had to pay my helper for hours of doing nothing. Will definitely not order from them again!

They say it's silt loam but the photos speak for themselves. Heavily crusted clay.

Ordered 2 yards of mulch this week and was quoted under 90 dollars as the total, which I thought was reasonable, so I scheduled delivery. Got my credit card statement and they has charged me 125 dollar. Called to ask why it was different and the answer was "they must not have hit the right buttons, sorry"..."anything else I can do for you?" Not acceptable!

MDS is my go-to place for mulch, top soil, and stone every time. Easy in, easy out, and less expensive than other places.

Slow and steady. Might catch some attitude, but it’s a rough business… Wide selection of materials, carries quality products.
