I called Hillestad Heating & Cooling recently when we were having problems with our furnace. They were able to come the day I called check out the furnace and explain what was going on. Great Customer Service!

Hillstad went above and beyond. Jeff did an excellent and professional job of first analyzing our old house (1996) and its ductwork. Helped locate where a second floor return could go and troubleshot how the chase could be made for the return. Was timely from first contact to getting the job done. Todd and Jason did the ductwork and installation.Our old basement looks far better than before with larger ducts and one re-routed. Todd took me through each and every step for maintenance and keeping the system running properly. Patient in answering many of my questions. To put frosting on the cake Jeff called day after installation to ask how things went and had me do the "kleenex" test to be sure the return working well!! Couldn't be more pleased with the skill and service of Hillstad and reasonable costs.

Very friendly, prompt, and knowledgeable. Trustworthy to where for my specific situation it would be cheaper to use a different company, and they told me that. That's the type of company I want to do business with! Will definitely use them for future needs. Above and beyond my expectations.

I wish I could remember my technician’s name but he was awesome!! 3/15/21, We were referred by Ron to get help with our thermostat. A tech arrived with less than four hours notice to assist us in Fitchburg WI. In the midst of the job, he noticed a potentially very dangerous situation. Our furnace tubes were so badly corroded and water from old rusted and broken tubes was filling up near electrical lines. So even though there was a hazardous snow storm, he drove across town from Fitchburg to McFarland WI to purchase some missing pieces. Then he returned in record time to help fix our dilapidated furnace. It was in such a dangerous condition that it is a miracle that we had not died of carbon monoxide poisoning. Thank you awesome tech for potentially saving mine and my family’s life and for helping to answer our myriad of questions. PS. The price was decent too so I really appreciated that:)

Woke up on New Years Day to a broken thermostat. Called in and within an hour we had a service man out and replaced the failed thermostat and all is good! We have always had such good service from your company! Thank you. Mike and Karen.
