Got in touch with Vance for lawn mowing via nextdoor. After the initial text I sent to him, we managed to get down to details (what my husband and I wanted done, cost, and how often) fairly fast. We set up the first lawn mowing to be the next day. We agreed time of day didn't matter - just whatever worked for his schedule that day - and he would message us when he was done. We specified that there were was a specific patch of wildflowers my husband would like to remain untouched. The first lawn mowing done, he sent us a picture of the wildflowers to make sure that was the area we were talking about. He then gave us a run-down of what he did including clean-up, weed whacking, etc. We thanked him, paid him, and told him we would keep in touch for the next lawn mow time. Since I was at work that day, I didn't think anything of the lawn; just that it was taken care of. It wasnt until I got home that I saw how great everything had looked. The lines were nice and straight and everything cleaned up. I dont remember the last time our lawn looked so nice.

Customer service is important and Vance went above and beyond and all through text. I'm much better at explaining my thoughts thru text and I was glad he seemed to prefer the same. Very professional and friendly. Quick to update me. I had forgotten he mentioned he was still in highschool - I thought he was college. He is pretty responsible for a highschool kid.

They tackled my overgrown lawn , bagged, and hauled away the clippings for a fair price. They delivered above what I really expected, my lawn looks so much better. Will work with them again.

TotalGuard agreed to do snow removal for me this winter, which we agreed upon and had booked a few months in advance before winter began.

They didn’t show up after the first snowfall, and after I contacted them, they just said that they no longer do snow removal service. Completely unprofessional to just not show up instead of telling me that they no longer offer that service. I had asked for a contract when we agreed to snow removal services to prevent this happening, but they said that they don’t do contracts for snow removal, and now I see why - so they can cancel at any time.

Not sure how their other services are, but based on my experiences I would not recommend.

TotalGuard Yard Care was solid from start to finish. The yard cleanup was done right, edges were clean, and they didn’t rush the job. Communication was clear, pricing matched the quote, and the property looked noticeably better the same day. You can tell they care about doing it properly, not just getting in and out. Would use again without hesitation.

Vance was quick to respond to my request, was easy to work with, arrived as promised and did an amazing job with helping to remove weeds that had taken over a plant bed in my yard. His rates were very reasonable. I would highly recommend his service!

Vance and Alex did an excellent job of mulching our perennial beds, several located on fairly steep pitches. Very professional, careful attention to detail, good cleanup.

He was quick and did a fantastic job! He also did trim & blew grass clippings without me needing to ask. He even took the initiative to go over part of my lawn twice because he noticed not all the grass clippings were getting collected. I found him to be very professional, and his work will not disappoint you.

We called Total Care looking for an estimate and hoping to schedule something within the next few days. After speaking to them, they indicated that they could come out that afternoon!
