All of our contacts with Full Spectrum Solar personnel were timely, thorough, patient and professional. Ron did a great job shepherding the details of our project. We especially appreciated his ability to explain technical details to us in language we could understand. Much thanks to all who worked on our installation as well as behind the scenes.
Full Spectrum Solar did a great job getting solar on my garage to power my house. Helping me brainstorm the best and cost effective way to do it. Jennifer and Ron answered all my questions along the way and did the work with the city, MGE etc...I had no idea how many hoops there are to jump through, but they got through them and my array is pulling power! Thank You!
From the start the project engineer (I worked with Mark W.) and anyone I interacted with were courteous, informative, professional and efficient. The entire process to identify if the site qualified for a system (shade, sun aspect, roof strength, etc.) through to final hook up takes several months and I was satisfied with the entire process. The decision to install a PV system starts with an analysis of current electrical use to size the system appropriately. We added a complication by asking the project manager to calculate how many PV panels we'd need to add to charge an electric vehicle three times a week. That was added that into the calculations, projections and return on investment analysis. The ROI analysis was easy to understand and, from my perspective, reasonable and realistic. Throughout the process our project manager kept us informed, and walked us through paperwork to get utility rebates and group buy discounts. We further complicated the process by adding a "time of use" meter and upgrading the line to the street to 200 amp service and Full Spectrum helped coordinate that installation with our utility. They also worked well with the electrician we hired (Prana Electric, see review) to upgrade our house panel to 200 amp service and connect the solar system into the panel. I would hire Full Spectrum again, and highly recommend both the company and it's partner, MadiSun which helps educate and enroll people in solar installations.
We went with Full Spectrum Solar after interviewing three other companies as well and getting good recommendations for FSS from two friends I trust. Full Spectrum Solar was great to work with, easy, reliable, helpful, polite, respectful, and responsive. We could always ask questions and feel confident in the accuracy and speed of their reply. I really like that they control all aspects of the installation and follow-up and that they have been here in Madison for more than 20 years. Their commitment is clearly to solar as an environmentally responsible thing to do rather than as a quick money-making business. Our contact, Ron Chester, was easy to work with, and I am confident he will be there to help as the system is active and we have questions in the coming years. We are completely satisfied with them and would definitely recommend them to others.
Full Spectrum was awesome to work with from start to finish on our rooftop solar installation. A few items which were beyond their control were handled professionally and quickly. All the crew members who came to our house were professional, kind and really interesting. I love our new solar array and can’t wait to watch that meter turn backwards!
Just recently we had Full Spectrum Solar install a solar array for our house and couldn't be happier with the install, customer service and product. From the start of this process Full Spectrum was amazing. They answered every question we had promptly. The installers stayed in constant communication, were always on time, very courteous and always cleaned up after themselves in and outside the house. The product itself seems great and since it was turned on we have started to save money. Would have absolutely no problem recommending Full Spectrum Solar to any of my friends and family. Thanks to Ron and his team.
