I contacted Hauser to give an estimate for removal of a dead Ash Tree. The timeline for removal was poorly conveyed and pushed back multiple time. During removal, a part of the tree was dropped on the gutter, snapped an unused internet line, and also broke a flag pole bracket and planter. I came home from work to discover the damage, as well as a mess on my roof, my neighbors roof and in my front garden bed. I had to call the owner, Anthony, to ask what happened. I would have preferred he called to inform me of the issue as soon as it happened. It was a pain to communicate about how to fix the gutters and the whole process was more of a headache than the dead tree ever was. Although he paid for the damages, I am still frustrated with the communication and lack of professionalism I received.

Shawn and his staff were all very professional, courteous and went above and beyond what was expected. The job was started when I was told it would be and completed much sooner than I expected. My grandson came while Leonard was grinding the stumps and he stopped what he was doing to show my grandson what he was doing and how the stump grinder worked. I would highly recommend Hauser Tree Care!

After shopping around Madison and getting quotes from a number of different companies I found that Hauser Tree Care gave me the lowest quote. Shawn and his team were experienced and confident professionals who were both polite and exceedingly efficient arborists. They removed three trees, ground the stumps, and filled it in with topsoil for less than what other companies were charging just to cut down the trees. Shawn clearly cares deeply about the quality of his work and made every effort to get the job done right.

Eric and his team did a great job! We are extremely happy with the extensive tree trimming and tree removal services (dead trees) that were provided. We had extensive work done and our trees LOOK AMAZING! I went through the process of getting quotes from 3 additional providers so I know what to compare to). Eric was comfortable and reassured me his company EKJ could do the job no problem and for a reasonable price. Eric was easy to work with and communicate with from the beginning quote all the way to the clean up of the limbs and trees from our property. I especially liked that the quote was very clear, written out and pricing was broken down by each tree being worked on along with photos of the trees in the quote. We knew what the cost was for each dead tree removed, and each tree trimmed and they did exactly as we asked. The crew carefully moved my garden decor and stone planters to keep them safe while working. We had a very positive experience and I would definitely recommend. One last comment, I had an arborist company come give a quote and they basically said that they could not remove my trees because of the tight drop zone and another company that had concerns. EKJ had no issues and assured me they could do it and they did. They also provided the same trimming that the arborist had suggested.

Eric is awesome. I come across clients that need nuisance trees removed from homes regularly. Eric is quick with a quote and makes me look good giving the referral by doing the job he bids on budget and as expected. People rarely leave reviews when the job is done right and as expected. But that is 100% what you get from EKJ! Call him, you won’t be disappointed.

Wow! What an amazing job, Eric Volkey and his crew did in removing our 45foot ash tree and even in the coldest weather conditions. He was very careful & thoughtful in each cut he made. His crew prepared the area well first and then manicured the area before leaving. We are extremely pleased with the results, although the squirrels may not agree.

Everything went smooth. Came on time the day they said. Fast, efficient, and cleaned up nicely after they were done. If I need anymore tree work, will definitely start with them for the project.

Eric did an AMAZING job taking care of a tree that had a broken limb that fell on our shed and fence. He carefully removed each of the branches to help us try and salvage what we could under the mess. He worked tirelessly for 7 hours in the heat, all with a smile.
