They did a great job on some difficult stumps that I had up against a retaining wall. Eric was very upfront about the work and that the prices he quoted me were based solely on the info I gave him. I have more stumps that will need to be removed before the end of summer and Affordable will be the only place I call. I will happily recommend them to everyone I know.

I cannot express how happy I am with the work that they did. They were fast, efficient, and clean. I especially appreciate Eric's communication throughout the process. With all the rain we've had, it's been difficult for him to find a good day to come out and do the job. And, because of construction on my road, he attempted to show up THREE times and did not even charge me for multiple trips. I am SO appreciative of that. Plus, the job came in under what was quoted. Eric is an honest and hard working man. Highly recommended for any stump removal jobs!!

We have used Affordable 3 times and have never been disappointed. They always explained what they intended to do, answered our questions, and accepted our changes and additions. Their demeanor was pleasant and outgoing sometime even humerous. Tim and Eric were like machines. From the time they arrived they were in perpetual motion. They' always got the job done in minimal time so we could go on with the rest of our day.

We will use them in the future if more of our bushes or trees have to be removed!

These guys were amazing! I’ve used their services once before, and they were great then too. Which is why I called them to take care of a tricky stump removal job. Stumps were up on a concrete ledge, close to the ledge, and tight quarters. They did all they could to take care of the stumps! They could’ve, maybe should of, walked away from the job, but they made it work! They even hand cut remaining stumps that were too close to the ledge, cut a metal fence rod for me so the job could work, and cleaned up after themselves!

Eric and Tim were outstanding! Showed up two days after calling and were in and out within 20 minutes. They jump right in and get the job done without any issues. Cost was exactly what we'd discussed on the phone. By the time they were finished I was already on my second beer with my new koozie! I would not hesitate recommending them to all my friends and family and for any future stump grinding needs!

Have had them come out for 2 different projects. Eric's communication is great. Fair pricing, easy scheduling, showed up on time, and went above and beyond with the job. Would happily use them again or recommend to friends and family.

Five Star Service. I called Affordable Stump Removal this morning to remove some juniper stumps. They called back within 30 minutes and said that they could do the work right away, as they were just finishing up another job nearby. When Eric and Tim arrived 10 minutes later they spent time to understand what I wanted done, and then quickly went to work to cut down and remove the stumps. They did great work at a reasonable price.

Eric and Tim were great to work with. They provided high quality service at an affordable price. I would highly recommend their work to anyone looking for stump removal.

The guys that came to our house to grind our tree stump were incredible! Our stump was right next to our neighbor’s yard. They put up boards to keep debris out of the neighbor’s yard. As they were grinding the stump, they discovered the metal bar that is used to mark property lines. The tree had grown around it. I didn’t think they would be able to grind the stump completely, but they problem solved and came up with a solution. They were actually able to pull the bar out of the ground. The gentleman also measured where the bar was so he could put the bar back after he ground the stump! Once the job was done, they did a great job cleaning up! They had a great system working together, were very kind and helpful, and very reasonably priced. I would highly recommend them for your stump grinding needs!

Outstanding service and pricing! Eric was very friendly and easy to schedule an appointment with. He and Tim showed up promptly and had 2 12" stumps cleared and cleaned up in about a half hour. They also only charged about 1/3 of the other quote I got. I will absolutely be using them again!

These guys are awesome! They were quick and knowledgeable. Eric and Tim are very good at what they do! I highly recommend anyone who have tree stumps or bush roots to have these guys do the job! Don't try it yourself! Call these guys!

BEWARE, Eric and affordable stump removal are neither affordable, or honest and do poor work.

I contacted Eric for a poplar stump to be removed. He walked me through measuring the stump on the phone and quoted $150 for the work. Upon arrival he said the stump was more like $300 and that it could take up to two hours. We discussed poplar being a pulp wood which is very soft. He was adamant about the amount of time and work it would take to remove the stump. I caved and paid him in cash (so he doesn't have to pay taxes) and left to run some errands. I returned home an hour later to see how things were going and was shocked to see Eric was done. Looking back at the footage on my Ring camera the removal only took 30 minutes! I called Eric to discuss this and basically he said "too bad, we intentionally quote on size knowing full well it misrepresents the amount of effort it will take". I have attached a picture of the stump so you can see what a $300 stump looks like in Eric's world.

On top of being dishonest, Eric did a poor job. See the attached picture of a very large main root 3" under the surface that was not removed. The ground where the root is bulges up and was connected to the stump. The whole point of grinding a stump is to have a level area to replant grass. Further, Eric and his team could not be more inconsiderate of the mess they are creating and the clean up it will require. It looked like sand dunes in my front yard with no way to tell where the hole ended and where they had just covered the yard in dirt and debris. A solid day of hard labor was required to clean it up.

The one positive I can say of Eric is that he's organized and responsive when contacted. Don't be fooled though.

My advice is to get a couple quotes in person so you don't get bait and switched like I did and to steer clear of Eric! The yard sign advertisement for anything under 16" being $30 is a myth. They'll tell you they grind 2 feet around the stump but my picture of the leftover root is evidence to the contrary.

Extremely professional, reliable and friendly. The price was the best on the market and the job was done beyond my satisfaction. Any future stump removal needs in the future I continue to have these guys on speed dial. They are outstanding!

One stump was in a difficult to reach area and they found a solution to remove it. The price was more than fair for the services rendered. I would absolutely recommend using these guys!

We had 7 tree stumps ground at once. Absolutely fantastic service! The tree stump grinding was done quickly, safely and with great attention to detail. The team was punctual and professional, they explained the process and got to work. The price quoted was very fair considering the number of stumps being ground.
