We have been using Hoppe Tree Service for many years. They have helped us save our ash tree by giving it treatments every two years. We recently had them prune the ash tree and two maple trees. They did an excellent job and were very professional.

Drea (spelling?) was very professional in communications with my wife and I, and each of your crew here were very friendly. Nice results of trimming and their clean up of our yard was great - even with the snow cover and cold weather present. Thanks!

Hoppe recently came and trimmed my huge honey locust tree. We’ve had work with them before and I’ve always had much success. They know what they’re doing and they show up when they say they’re going to. They are not the cheapest but you get what you pay for.

Really responsive, knowledgeable, and not looking to make a bunch of money by cutting down a ton of trees or doing needless work. Helped prioritize and stage the work and then took care of it quick and cleaned up well afterwards. Price was about in line with other quotes, but much less pressure on doing unnecessary removals so the total cost was much less. Will use them again!

Hoppe was very communicative about services and timeline. When we had questions or concerns, they were responsive and made sure that we were satisfied after their services. Would recommend.

Hoppe Tree Service was awesome. The four man crew took down a 150' Elm tree close to my house. They cleaned up perfectly. It was a great experience for myself to watch how they performed their tasks. Hoppe is valuable member of the community. Recently I needed a trunk section for chopping fire wood. I got exactly what I was looking for, with a smile. I’ve used Hoppe in the past for grinding a stump and they are my go to when a tree is too high or too wide for me to take care of it.

The tree trimming crew was EXCELLENT!!!!!! They were timely, courteous, kept high “safety” standards in their working regime, cleaned everything during and after besides educating me about the process. Hire them and you won’t be disappointed. WE was also great. They knocked on my door and let me know that they were going to turn off my power. Warned me to take my car out of the garage before power was disabled if I needed access to it while Hoppe was trimming my tree.

We have had our trees trimmed and pruned with Hoppe for many years. The crew that was at our home this year was exceptional.

Cory was easy to work with for our initial walk through and estimate. He answered all my concerns and explained the process.

We opted to do the clean up. After the crew pruned and trimmed, all limbs and branches were stacked neatly and in one direction at the base of the trees. It will be so easy for us to gather and take to the burn pile.

On the day of the work being done, the on site forman (I can't recall his name) took me around to each tree and explained to me what was done for each species and why. He asked if I had any questions. Super easy to talk with.

I am always very pleased with this company as regards consistently good customer service.They always contact me each service year, submit a proposal and allow me to sign and accept it via email. They always respond when I ask a question. I really like the way they communicate throughout the service year and give me a heads up before they come to service my tree. They always leave a note that thoroughly explains what products they applied, what to expect and any problems they noticed on my tree that need to be addressed.

One major feature that made me select this company is that they service private homes. I previously searched for a tree service, but they only service big companies.

Hoppe Tree service team removed a very old and very large oak tree from our yard this week. Team was professional, worked well together, seemed happy and operated safely. They cleaned up very well! Hoppe does run a little higher in price, but you get what you pay for! We will use them again!

Hoppe Tree Service is very professional and courteous. Jeremy and his crew cheerfully took care of each of my additional requests. Initially, I had marked two trees to be trimmed and eight trees to be cut down. We had contracted for a day and the crew worked quickly. We ended up having an additional four trees taken down and two additional trees trimmed. In some cases this was after they moved some of their equipment to the front of the house.
Boards were laid down on the grass to protect it from equipment. I had asked if they could be careful and as much as possible avoid all the spring bulbs that were coming up. They did a great job. I asked for some of the tree trunks to be laid down for landscaping. They did that as well as remove the rotten logs that they replaced. Small branches were raked up. They used a blower on the lawn and driveway for small debris and then swept up the street. That’s what I call full service.
They appear to have all the professional equipment needed and can get into tight spaces. Sometimes it’s a small things that you notice. What I noticed was that each of them wore ear protection. That may seem like a small thing and of no concern to the customer. To me, it means they take care of their people and they are professional. I highly recommend them for the work they did in our yard.
UPDATE: The next morning I was walking around the yard and noticed that my small Lavendar Twisted Redbud had many branches broken off of it. I was so disappointed that this had happened and I was not informed. I had taken pictures of the yard the day before the trees were trimmed and sent them along with pictures and a video of the broken tree. Several hours later I received a call from Jac Casey from Hoppe Tree Service. Jac exemplified excellent customer service and communication skills. He first asked me to tell him about the situation. At the end of the discussion he said he could take money off the bill or asked me what I would like to done. I said that I would like a replacement tree and being older I would like it to be planted so I did not need to do anything. He agreed and kept me informed about progress to get me another tree. He ordered a new tree and then came and personally planted it for me. When I asked him for advice on another tree he quickly trimmed it for me.
Accidents will happen. What’s important is how those situations are resolved. I couldn’t be happier with the excellent resolution to my damaged tree. Every step of the way, Jac Casey demonstrated outstanding customer service.

This mature maple took a beating this summer from windstorms - I lost a lot of big branches and it made the tree look lopsided. Pretty sure this tree had never been pruned before. Jeremy and his crew did an amazing job shaping it up both to make it look better and hopefully be less at risk of future storm damage. They also pruned some other trees with branches overhanging the house. They were on-time, professional, thorough and fast. High-quality clean up too. Great job guys - thank you!

The guys came out to trim my giant, beloved silver maple in the front yard. I was nervous about how much to take off, so I called ahead of time to ask if I could talk to them before they started. They were so kind. They told me their plan, we talked it through and made some changes, and they stopped periodically and called me out to talk through what else needed to be done. They let me be a part of the whole process and answered all my questions. I was very confident in their knowledge about trees and what's best for them. I really appreciate them involving me.
