I’ve relied on Hoppe Tree Service across decades, and their consistency and professionalism continue to stand out. Most recently in December 2025, they completed pruning and cleanup work at my property based on a detailed proposal prepared by Certified Arborist Jac Casey.

The crew performed an orchard-style prune on two backyard fruit trees — a 7’ cherry and a 10’ peach — reducing their height to around 6 feet and shaping them for healthy form and clearance from the driveway. They also pruned a mature lilac shrub on the right side of the backyard, reducing it to around 8 feet and shaping it away from the driveway.

In addition to the pruning, they removed several invasive weed trees along the fence lines, cut them low, hauled away all debris, and treated the stumps with herbicide. Cleanup extended across three properties, including my neighbors’ yards, and was completed during an active snowstorm — a level of care and thoroughness that deserves recognition.

I was home during the appointment, but I would have felt comfortable keeping the appointment even if I had to be away.

I also previously worked with Hoppe Tree Service in 2012 for pruning a box elder and clearing limbs over the garage and fence line. That job was completed as described and helped prepare the yard for future projects.

Hoppe Tree Service continues to earn my trust. I recommend them for reliable, skilled, and considerate tree care.

I had my tree cut and the owner Jose Luis give me and my neighbor a fair price for $3,000 and we went half on it .But he lie to me and told me I can sell the wood logs on Facebook or next door neighbor and I still have all the wood from the tree and I can't sell any of it and here I'am still with these wood logs from my tree. All up in my yard.He also had me call the guy that cut the tree Angel and he told me he would charge me another $500 to take the wood and now that I have the money these guys still will not take this wood out of my yard. I'am stuck with all this heavy wood that this guy cut so big that is not possible for me to carry and get rid of it on my own

Used their services and will never use them again, on top of having to constantly come outside to ask the workers to actually work. One of the workers was caught smoking under my back patio after explicitly asking them not to smoke on the property (JOSE), the one tree they did remove also damaged my patio furniture and when I asked about fixing the situation all of a sudden nobody speaks English….. never again !!!

Had a tree fall during a storm and used this company as they were in the area. They answered all my questions, completed the job in a timely manner, kept the job site clean with minimal issues to the yard which was much appreciated. Then the stump was grinded down two days later. All nice crew members, appreciated all they did.
