Steve was awesome. Dude is polite and personable, took the time to show me what the issue was and answered ALL the of my stupid questions. 100% recommend Despins

Great! My hot water heater broke on weekend. Called Monday morning and they came and replaced within a couple of hours. Fantastic service, would recommend.

Disappointing and very non-responsive. I had heard great things about Despins and reached out to them about a month ago to have them make a couple of minor plumbing repairs at our home. Unfortunately, after two or three messages on their "non-emergency" line over a three week period and a conversation (and message) with the answering service on their "emergency" line about a week ago, we've heard nothing back from them. I would've hoped that even if they were extremely busy they would at least return the call(s) and schedule something for later in the summer.

They never returned my call for request to do some plumbing work. I also was looking for someone to help install a wet bar for my basement entertainment room and bar. I quess they have so much work that they do not see a need to return calls or be professional in their business relations.

These guys are excellent. Had a plumbing emergency with sewage backing up into the basement. These guys snaked out the sewer laterals to >100 feet until the clog was gone. It wasn't a straightforward job but they were pros and handled it without a problem. Despite requiring more time and equipment than initially expected, their price did not change. Very personable people as well. They will definitely be the first people I call next time I need a plumber.

Such a positive experience! We remodeled our Kitchen and half-bath. Steve removed all the existing fixtures, relocated piping from old walls that were being removed into new walls, extended gas piping for the new range location, then installed and hooked up new sinks, toilet, faucets, dishwasher, range, and water to fridge. Steve was extremely personable, helpful, and always there when he was needed so that other trades could do their work and the project could stay on track. Everything Steve did seemed to be done as if he was doing it for his own house.

Frequently asked questions
-
Is GigoPro free to use?
Yes. Browsing businesses, reading reviews, and comparing plumbers is free for everyone. Business owners can create a basic listing at no cost.
-
How do you verify businesses on GigoPro?
Every profile goes through moderation before it appears in search. We check that the business is real, actively operating, and actually performs the work it claims. For regulated trades, we look for proper credentials, and we automatically hide inactive listings.
-
How do I choose the right plumber?
Start with ratings and recent reviews, then confirm the company performs your specific type of work and serves your area. Contact two or three providers, ask for written estimates, and compare what each quote includes, not just the bottom line.
-
Can I list my business on GigoPro?
Yes. Create a free business profile to reach local customers searching for your category. You can update services, photos, and contact details anytime, and customers can book you directly from your profile.
-
How often is the directory updated?
Business owners update their own profiles. Our team also refreshes hub pages and removes inactive listings to keep search results current. This page, for example, is reviewed and updated monthly.
-
Repair or replace my water heater — how do I decide?
Ask each plumber for both a repair quote and an honest assessment of the unit's remaining life. As a general rule, if the repair costs more than half the price of a new unit, or the tank is past its expected lifespan and leaking, replacement is usually the better value. Get two or three opinions before a decision this large.
-
Do plumbers provide written estimates or flat rates?
Reputable plumbers give written, itemized estimates after diagnosing the problem — and many quote flat rates for common jobs like drain cleaning or fixture repair. Always ask whether the quote is flat-rate or time-and-materials, and whether the diagnostic fee is credited toward the repair.
-
Are plumbers on GigoPro licensed and insured?
Licensing and insurance requirements vary by state and by type of work - especially gas and sewer work. Ask each plumber for their license number and proof of insurance before work begins. Professional companies expect these questions and answer them without hesitation.
-
How much does plumbing service cost?
Costs vary by job type, region, and time of day — there is no honest single number. Reputable plumbers give written estimates after diagnosing the problem, and comparing two or three of them is the best way to understand what your job should cost.
-
Can I leave a review after booking through GigoPro?
Yes. After your job is done, you can rate the plumber and describe your experience. Verified reviews from recent jobs help the next homeowners in your city choose well — and keep listed professionals at their best.
