Need gutters cleaned?
Brandon’s your guy. On time, friendly, gets the job done in a timely manner. Pleased, grateful for a job well done. There was nothing nicer than the sound of running water in the gutters last week. Priceless.

The snow season of 2021-2022 has been the first time I have hired someone to do snow removal for me. Before hiring anyone, I made calls to a number of places. Some didn't call back and another one just didn't give me a good feeling overall. I felt like he was not too willing to give me straight-forward answers and I just wasn't all that comfortable. That was not the case with Brandon here at Bear Landscaping and Snow Removal. I explained to him I'd never hired anyone to do this before and had no idea how things worked, etc. He took plenty of time to politely explain everything to me and I was impressed from the first conversation. I hired him to come out when we got 2-inches or more of snow. But then there were a couple of times that we only got an inch, but I wanted him to come out anyway. All I did was send him an email asking him to come out and that was it. They were out here the same day and got everything cleaned up. The first time they came out, they hadn't yet put down those little plastic markers to show where the pavement is, and they accidentally plowed part of the grass on the one side of my driveway. But Brandon was very honest and told me about it, saying that the good thing was they're a landscaping company also and would take care of that for me in the spring. These folks are great to work with, they're honest, reasonably-priced and do good work. I can't recommend them highly enough and besides the lawn repair they're already planning to do by the driveway, I am going to have them give me an estimate for repairing part of my backyard when the snow has finally melted for the season. If you hire these folks for anything, I'm sure you'd be happy with their work and your decision. (On a side note, Brandon has a stunning Golden Retriever who often rides shotgun with him. As a dog owner and dog lover myself, who also does a lot of dog rescue volunteer work and owns a pet-sitting service in the area, seeing his dog with him in the cab of the truck makes me smile.) Four paws up for Bear Landscaping and Snow Removal!!!!🐶

They’ve been cutting our lawn and plowing our driveway for the last 5-6 years. Brandyn is always a text away if we need anything!! ☺️

I paid $7,995 to have my landscaping done.

1 week later there were weeds every where.

All of the hydrangeas were dead.

Ripped up my lawn which was has not returned in full still this year.

Beat up my driveway with their equipment, then told it would be cleaned and pressure cleaned. It wasn't

Last year I was told time after time "coming out today" just for no one to show up letting days and days go by with zero communication.

I was told this spring they would come and fix the lawn, weeds, hydrangeas. I reached out 4/25/23 still waiting on and answer.

Apparently my business wasn't important enough for them. Before you hire them. Ask yourself if your business will be important enough for them?

GREAT company, GREAT guys, GREAT results. They regraded our yard, installed a patio, and put in landscaping rock. The guys handled all the curve balls that I threw at them with spur of the moment changes. They also did many design improvements on the fly to make sure that their portions blended and worked with the existing areas. They were considerate of any plants we wanted to save, bricks for the patio we wanted to use, and features that needed adding. To top it all off they even worked weekends to get it done and mowed my property before they left. Bear landscaping was great to work with

Love Blackwolf Nursery and supporting local businesses. He has been around for many years. Beautiful fruit trees. I have so many nice bushes to accent my home and he does a great job landscaping at a reasonable price.

Tom has been apart of the Blackwolf community for over 20 years. Growing up and now into adulthood I have found Tom to be extremely knowledgeable about his nursery. He is professional, kind, and considerate. My family have purchased arborvitae and apple trees. They are still in full bloom and thriving every year!

Tom, has done a terrific job for us over the past 15 years. Landscaped our entire front yard and had several creative ideas to improve its appearance. The Arborvitae he planted years ago are now 25 feet tall. Bushes are thriving the past 8 years and our Apple tree looks great after one year. Excellent work at a reasonable price.

Tom is very knowledgeable and his plants and trees look great! I love supporting a local business, and his prices are much better than local competitors. 10/10 would recommend!

Gripp's Repairs and Landscaping are terrific! They provided a clear estimate, started when they said they would, finished the project quickly, and were great at communicating if there were any questions. I highly recommend them!

Darren came and pulled all the thorny weeds out of my bushes, weed whacked all the overgrown weeds and mowed my lawn. My yard is the best looking lawn on the block. He was absolutely awesome. Would recommend him very highly.

I called Darren about a retaining wall job I needed done and sent him pics of the work area. Darren said he was in my area the following day and will supply a quote. Darren never showed, hasn't returned many calls and texts after a week. I am thankful no money exchanged hands as the lack of communication and respect for my time is a clear indication of the kind of work I would expect.

We hired Darren and Jessie for a major backyard project including building a retaining wall, replacing 150 feet of fencing, and installing an arborvitae privacy wall. They were at our home for about two weeks and we are very pleased with the results. They completed the work on time and on budget, always kept us apprised of challenges and we’re very interested in our satisfaction every step of the way. We made a major change with the fence location after they had put two panels in. They had no problem pulling them out and relocating and we weren’t charged for this change! I would highly recommend the Gripp’s for any similar project!

I hired them to clear out my front yard and put in a new lawn. They cleared it out, put down landscaping fabric, and spead topsoil over the fabric. I paid them once the project was supposedly finished. A couple days later I noticed bare spots of fabric which grass obviously can't grow on as well as weeds coming through. There were also a handful spots where dirt was piled higher in order to cover rocks and roots which should've been removed. I was able to remove them easily. I cut down some tree stumps and asked them if they needed to be cut lower. Darren said they should be fine, but he'll take care of them if needed. The fix ended up just piling dirt over one of them which ended up higher than the rest of the lawn. I called Darren and they came right over. They were very apologetic and wanted to make it right. I ordered another 30 yards of topsoil and they came over and spread half of it. They told me they'd come over again to complete the job. A couple weeks goes by without hearing from them, so I called and left Darren a message asking when they were going to come finish the job. The next day he sends me a text saying that they're booked up, but would try to come over on Saturday. That was a month ago and I haven't heard from them since. I went ahead and finished the job myself. There's probably not much that I can do about it because I paid cash for the majority of the project. Why finish a project once you already have the money, right?

Gripp's repairs were wonderful to work with. They are committed to doing things right!! They were able to deliver a patio pattern I found online and mimicked the design. Very reliable and hard working, took my backyard muddy mess and transformed to a wonderful usable space!!

Very unprofessional. I reached out to Martin’s to get my driveway shoveled because I have two torn ACL and meniscus. He did not do my driveway. I reached out to him. He said he would come back to do it still didn’t get a phone call or a response until I threaten him to call the police. It is now 7 PM and I still
Have not got a answer. I asked for a refund due to what I paid for was not done. He has yet to refund me. I will be bringing this to court and small claims but it’s sad that I even have to do that when all I wanted was my drive way done. Do not book with him worst experience ever!

This man is horrible do Not go to him he took advange of my daughter who is a single mom of 2 toddlers who is struggling with torn meniscus and ACL in her knees. He came late at night from a snowstorm and she paid him in advance so she could go to sleep from knee pain and he barely even plowed her driveway which is very small and thought she would not notice and was still up and when she looked outside it was so bad she cannot even get out of her driveway when she replied to him right away he said he will be back shortly to go ahead and fix it he never showed up when she has replied to him and called him he ignores her and will not become fix it and will not give her her money back!!! Absolutely ridiculous how dare somebody take advantage of a young mother that is doing her best and struggling with needing surgery as why she called you for help!!!!
