Toilet issues were worked on, and a few days later the same thing is happening with plugging. The plumber was polite and did his best with the root issue. I'm not sure why this is happening. I have had the same issue with other plumbers, so I will see what a drain cleaning service can do for us.

Edit: I appreciate that PP&H responded. Note that if this review was for the plumber who completed the work, I would gladly give five stars. However, the issues are not regarding the work completed. It is true my review came 88 days after service rendered because my invoice arrived 86 days after the work was completed. The invoice was dated 10/31/19 and postmarked 11/2/19. The bill arrived 11/14/19, on which day I called to inquire about the bill. When I asked why it was so high for just the dishwasher the receptionist was kind enough to check but came back with, "Jack says it stands." When asked if the bill had been mailed previously they evaded and said they would remove the "finance charges". Good on them. I then paid over the phone, the day the bill was received, despite getting no answers as to the pricing. If ALL facts are to be stated, note that I offered to pay the bill on the day of service and was told to wait until a bill arrived in the mail, which it did on 11/14/19. As for the unforseen circumstances, we acknowledge that quotes cannot prepare for everything. However, when we initially called to get a quote, we stated that the install was for a currently hardwired dishwasher. PP&H's claim of, "Installing your used dishwasher," is a blatant lie as the dishwasher was brand new in box with all needed attachments. In fact, the very reason we reached out to them was because Home Depot will not install hardwired dishwashers upon delivery. It therefore was our expectation that these circumstances were not unforseen but part of the initial quote. If for some reason any of these matters were beyond that expectation, PP&H had the opportunity to explain on the phone when I called. I will concede that it was possibly longer than my perceived hour as I was going off of the report from a tenant and not present for the entirety of the job. The mention of his work on the shower and sillcock are interesting to me; however. I was on site at the end of the project when he looked at the shower and sillcock. He spent a minute looking at the shower to report that he would need to open up the wall and moved on. He then spent a minute looking at the sillcock because he was able to deduce within in seconds of looking at it that it was a discontinued part. We have no qualm that he was unable to complete these projects. We are however confused why the quoter was incapable of making these same deductions. As per the final point, I still have not received any evidence that they even sent the invoice prior to November as I directly asked when I called. Also making a claim that we just couldn't afford it, is simply unprofessional. I do not leave this to be cruel or deceptive but believe consumers have the right to hear reviews to help make their own decisions. Our business is paid and completed, and I wish them the best as they continue forward.

Original Review: We had a quote from Plymouth Plumbing and Heating to complete three jobs (dishwasher install, shower mixer valve and shower head replacement, and outdoor sillcock/faucet replacement) for a combined estimate of $300-$400 for all three jobs. A different plumber than Jack, the quoting plumber, came a week later to do the repairs. He was only able to do the dishwasher job and said the shower could not be completed at the time because he didn't have the correct tools and parts with and would require an additional $400+. The sillcock he said could not be completed at all. We were fine with this and went forward with the dishwasher installation. The plumber was there for about an hour total. He did a fine job as the dishwasher now works. However we were extremely disappointed with Plymouth Plumbing and Heating when the bill arrived. They charged almost $270 for the dishwasher installation alone. I called to see if there was a clerical mistake as the other two jobs quoted for the original $300 were not performed. They assured me the pricing was correct. So, they asked over $250 an hour for a dishwasher installation and were obviously incredibly deceiving with their quote.

When I hear Plymouth Plumbing and Heating, I think Family! They are always there for you and have your back when you need them. I was doing a remodel and lets just say it was bigger than a bread box....and Plymouth Plumbing and Heating was there every step of the way! Jamey was the mastermind in the trenches getting things done, but the whole team was there supporting me. When there was a "bump" in the remodel I could call or text and knew it would be handled. Never had to worry when will it get done. Boom Done!

These guys are a dream. I wish all contractors worked like them. They've done a few well pump projects for us and most recently ran the connection from a new deep well to our water pump, which required coordination with a well driller and concrete subcontractors.

They bent over backwards to coordinate with the others on the project to make sure costs didn't blow up and the project was done as quickly as possible. They were awesome about reaching to tell me where things stood with the project before I'd even call for an update. They know their craft and do an excellent job explaining the problem, the possible solutions, and answering questions from people like me who don't generally know anything about plumbing.

Huge thanks to Zack (owner) and Gary for always exceeding our expectations. Don't bother calling anyone else - these are the guys you want.

Updated Review: we got the bill and it was about $200 more than we were anticipating. I get that it was a weekend, but almost $600 to clean a main drain? Not happy about that! I wonder how much of that includes the 20 minutes the plumber spent messing around with the auger that was put away wrong from the last service, his words, while he was cursing the last person who used it, under his breath, 🙄

Original review: We experienced an unexpected plumbing issue arise during the 4th of July weekend. We called Plymouth Plumbing and Heating, as well as about 10 other companies, on a Sunday of a holiday weekend. They WERE THE ONLY ONE to call us back and send a plumber out! Not all websites that say "24/7 emergency calls" actually mean it, because no one else was able to send a guy out on a Sunday.Thank you for your prompt response. We will call you again and would recommend you to others for a prompt and efficent experience.

We are new to the Plymouth area and had a sewer back up in our house we had only owned 1 week. We called and were told someone would be there in the afternoon. Then we were called and told around noon. Then we were called and told someone would be there in a half hour. Thanks so much for rushing someone over to remedy our issue. Great communication!!!

We recently had PPH do a major update in our home (water heater, water softener, iron filter, reverse osmosis, new hose bib & installed a toilet). Zack was very knowledgeable and was able to address our very hard iron rich well water. After updating 30 year old mechanicals, our water is iron free and drinkable. I cannot recommend these folks enough. They are prompt, professional and stand behind their work. Look no further, this is your next plumber.

We contracted Plymouth Plumbing and Heating to re-plumb and install a new disposal after purchasing a new counter and sink. Adam did a fantastic job despite encountering some obstacles along the way. We were very pleased with his work and professionalism. We will definitely be calling them for all our future plumbing needs.

I have been using Plymouth Plumbing & Heating for a number of years. Always professional, timely and friendly. They work quickly and always clean up and the cost is always reasonable. The office staff are very knowledgeable and very nice to work with. I would recommend them for any plumbing need.

We live near Lake Michigan in an older home without a basement and for many years we have experienced problems of water accumulating in the crawlspace area under our main floor. We’ve asked several contractors and plumbers in our area to assess the situation, but none of them have offered any viable solutions. I decided to widen my search for answers and was drawn to the Plymouth Plumbing website. I called them and was able to set up an appointment a couple of days later for a free estimate.
About 30 minutes before the plumber was due to arrive, I received a call from his office letting me know that he was running about 45 minutes late. The receptionist asked if I would be willing to wait or prefer to reschedule. I suggested 4 pm that afternoon and he arrived right on time.
Jack Dellger is the third generation owner of a family business and has had a lot of experience with these water-related issues. He listened carefully to my questions, checked out the crawlspace, and then walked around the perimeter of the house pointing out where and how water could seep under the house when it rains. He gave me several suggestions about how to change the slope of the land so rain water would drain away from the house; where to seal up the wide cracks between our cement front stoop and the base of the adjacent siding; how to improve on the existing gutters, and where we needed to add additional ones.
When I asked him for some recommendations of whom he trusted to do those jobs, he not only provided me with names, but offered to call them for me and see how soon they would be available to come and give us an estimate for the necessary improvements. Although he declined my offer to pay him for his consultation, he said that the next time we had any plumbing problems, he hoped we would give him a call.
I enjoyed meeting Jack and appreciated the way he clearly explained everything. We will definitely contact Plymouth Plumbing and Heating for any plumbing issues that we may encounter in the future.

Plymouth Plumbing and Heating installed a water heater for us. The work was completed in an efficient, professional manner and the area was left neat and clean. The owner, Zack, is really involved and easy to work with. We will definitely use them again in the future if the need arises.

We called because our drains were backed up and we were not able to use water in the house at all or we had water coming up from the main drain. They showed up quickly and had it all done and taken care of in under an hour! The owner is also a super helpful guy and he came out and got our water heater working for us early in the morning when no one else was available!

Plymouth Plumbing & Heating are absolutely amazing! Our sub pump went out & had flooding. They showed up promptly to help. Zack was very friendly, knowledgeable and gave us a solution so that we would not run into this problem again. His technicians are efficient & very friendly as well. My husband and I are selling our house and it needed some plumbing repairs. We had a huge cast iron galvanized sewer pipe that needed to be replaced in the basement. Jack came out in the cold fresh snow, to give me an estimate. He was the most friendly guy, and so knowledgeable! He explained all the terms so i would understand them. Within a week i had two guys out here. They did an amazing job, and even cleaned up after themselves. So impressed!!! I WILL hire them again!!! so pleased with the service i received and would recommend to anyone!

Contacted Plymouth Plumbing and Heating on a Sunday as we discovered our water heater had leaked all over our basement. Left a message on the emergency line and received a call back a few minutes later. They were out at our house about 2 hours later and installed a new water heater in and hour. Excellent service considering we were not previous customers and it was a weekend. Thank you so much!

Had a new boiler system installed on the last week of December '22. So far, the system is noticeably more efficient with having to run less with more radiant heat produced.

Gary and his Apprentice worked a long day getting this system installed but not once faltered in their professionalism and knowledge of my unique heating system.

I've had numerous jobs done by Plymouth Plumbing & Heating over the course of 11 years in my home. New sink, garbage disposal, faucet and of course working my my old boiler system multiple times.

Prices are fair, given the state of the economy and one certainly gets their moneys worth!

The week of Thanksgiving we had no hot water. We needed a part that they did not have. We thought we would have to go through the holiday with no hot water. Zach kept calling around and found the part needed and they repaired it on Wednesday and Thanksgiving was saved! Thanks to Gary, Logan and Zach for all their help.

Travis did a great job replacing our basement sewage pump. Unfortunately the new check valve turned out to be just as loud as the old, so I requested a second visit to swap it for the 'silent' one which was now in stock. I should have checked that the second visit was an included service but I just assumed; after getting the bill later I called to explain my confusion and they were very understanding and cancelled the second bill. It is very quiet now and I expect it to give me many more years.

PPH did a great job for us! We were amazed with the solution Zack had to rerouting our kitchen sink drain. It only took Gary & Kyle 2.5 hours including their cleaning up. They both were professional and efficient. Another plumbing company thought it would take 2 guys at least 2 days and would have involved breaking up the concrete floor. Thank you Zack for coming up with an idea that was far more efficient and saved us a lot of money. We highly recommend calling PPH for any plumbing or heating needs.

My water heater went out about a month ago. They were quick to help in replacing my water heater with full explanation on everything. Last night the pilot went out and I could not get it to stay lit again. I called and left a voice ail ar night. They called me right when they opened and had someone to my house in the morning. They found the cause and replaced the faulty component under warranty right away. A great company to trust and does want best for the customer. Recommend to anyone.
