Did a great job of cutting just what I wanted. Easy to work with and very reasonable prices. Clean up was very good also. Will call them again when needed and recommend the to others.

Incredible work! Cut down 100ft white pine that was leaning towards our house. Dropped it safely and efficiently...and at a fair price. Didn’t leave us with a mess, either! Our family sat in our lawn chairs and marveled at their agility and professionalism. Completely confident in Boyd’s Tree Service!

I needed 26 trees removed for a remodeling project. Many close to the house. I was very impressed with their precision and concern for my property. The workers were all very respectful and worked fast. Would definitely use them again!

I had a large maple (48” trunk) that just needed to be on the ground as it was in bad shape. TJ came out and gave me a price and soon enough came with his guys and they took the tree down in about 3-4 hours time. Very quick and cared enough about the adjoining property to get the brush and debris cleaned up even though I was handling all of the clean up. The tree was about 20ft from the house and they got it all done without any damage to anything. Very good group of guys, would certainly recommend them on the toughest drops.

I hired them to cut, remove and grind out 2 large pines, topsoil and seed the areas. I specifically asked him, “does that stump grinding quote include all the cleanup, chip removal, and leveling ground to the surrounding area? Just want to make sure because I'm in a wheelchair and cannot do that stuff myself”. And, “So to make it look like the trees were never there, it'll be $1,900?
How soon can you do it?“

They left a very large root sticking up out of the soil on one of them and a big part of the actual stump on the other one was not ground down below the surrounding ground surface and they just covered it up. There were wood chips all over my yard and driveway. There were 1-1/2 inch rock around the trees. When they left, there were rocks all over my yard, way away from where they were working! They were suppose to seed it as well and did not do that either.

I text him multiple times to try to find out when he could come back and finish their incomplete job. He ignored my messages a couple times, which is not unusual because I had to text him multiple times to get him to answer me on several other occasions. The owner left about 2 hours before his workers were done and unfortunately I paid him the remaining balance before the work was completely finished. And now I cannot get him to come back and finish grinding the stump out. He also had to return to my father’s house to regrind stumps!

Just a word of caution if you hire them! I will say, they did a good job cutting the trees down but that’s where the good job ended! And now I have to hire someone else to come finish their incomplete stump grinding job. And I had to hire a kid to come help my father rake up all the rock and wood chips, so my lawn mower didn’t get damaged or shoot a rock at my neighbors car or house! You can see for yourself, in these pictures, all of these things I’ve mentioned above. This is what Boyd’s considers a finished job!

Terrible service, they came over did a quote and then never showed. Called them asking when they will be over to start the job and they said contact someone else.

Brad came to remove some bushes that we couldn’t get out. Also had him remove an entire bed of plants and he trimmed one of our trees. He did a great job and got it done quickly and reasonably priced. Cleaned and removed all of the debris.

BJ’s landscaping is a great company to work with. They are efficient and timely with their communication. Also very impressed with their knowledge and completing my project on the timeline discussed. Highly recommend using this local Shawano company.

Imagine this. You have a baby, 1 year old, it's November.. You wake up at 4am to a freezing cold house, your heater fan blowing non stop but the house isn't getting any warmer. You change the batteries on the thermostat, press all the buttons, go into the basement and stare at the furnace practically willing it to heat the house. Nothing. So worried at this point that your baby is upstairs freezing you cover them in blankets and just pray they finish sleeping while you figure this out. You called the first HVAC place on Google, but at 4am nobody answers, so you call the second one you see, again no answer but you leave a message. Finally, the third number I find, a lovely lady picks up. She is sympathetic and kind. She does let me know that emergency services are a bit more pricey. I'll do whatever I need to so my baby can keep sleeping. About 30 minutes later, I have a kind older gentleman at my home checking out the furnace. I sat in my basement along with him and quizzed him about all the things we can do to prevent this again as a first time homeowner, and he answered all my questions. He even talked us through how to change out our thermostat to a programmable one. It was about 2 hours to change out a piece and get it all up and running again, before my baby even wakes up. The house is warm and my baby hasn't even stirred. This was my first experience with Montour-Engle. Our second was just last week to have our AC serviced. Both great experiences with no regrets. They've made a faithful customer! At 4am when no one answers, they answer, and they do the job well! ❤️

Our furnace quit overnight and we called next morning. They were here within 3-4 hours and determined the circuit board was burnt out. Left and was able to find a replacement and installed. Great customer service and will definitely recommend!

I’m a new customer to Montoure & Engle.
I decided to give them a call about my AC after my usual provider, never kept their appointment with me.
I had a service tech named Josh, who made time in his busy day to come and service my AC unit which was not working properly he. squeezed me in at the end of the day. I really appreciated that because my house is running in the 80s for the last three days and I was not digging it! He was very thorough, incredibly polite, very respectful of my property and sweet to my little dog! He not only fixed my problem he left a lasting impression. I will definitely be back to Montoure & Engle for my future needs. I recommend them as a service provider and if you’re fortunate enough to get Josh, you’ll definitely appreciate the quality and consideration you get from their technicians!

Just wanted to share that we had a wonderful experience with Montour-Engel company, purchasing both a furnace and air conditioner for our cottage. Their Lennox product is great, and the pricing is reasonable. The technicians who did the install were super guys! They were prompt, very friendly, considerate of locations of thermostat and vents, and cleaned up daily! Would highly recommend this company for all your heating and cooling needs!

Over as many years I've called them twice to fix problems with my older A/C unit. Both times were during peak A/C season and I was expecting to wait for days to get service.
