Rude, and not professional. Will not call them back.

Im sorry you are mistaken. I did not ask to cancel the appt. I told her to leave it be . Even tho she told us 11-1. No one came so I called. When I called it was changed 2-4pm. So we told her thats not what we had we definitely would not have set it up. She was rude and yelling. I said ok whatever We both then misheard you.. So moving on. We told her to leave the appt. She said she had No way to contact you. right after she said she needed to call and rewroute you. We recorded it the lady started screaming at me, I told her to leave the appt. She demanded to cancel and starting getting louder. . Then I passed the phone to my husband whos in law enforcement thinking he would be better suited for somone screaming at him to calm her down. . Only to find her yelling at him even more. Looks from reviews shes been doing this for quite some time to others. Don , if you would like to hear the recording, please call me tommrow. It was horriable she even hung up on him leaving us dumbfounded to why she was demanding to cancel. We told her to leave it she wouldnt listen. I get that you are only hearing her side, but we have the audio that really happened. Sorry.

Don, the owner of ATC has serviced three appliances for me, and i give him and his company the very highest rating. He is highly knowledgeable, quick to diagnose the problem, and swiftly gets the job done. When repairing my refrigerator and washing machine, he had the needed parts in his van. And his fees are very reasonable. Don is also a careful and tidy worker; someone you can trust.

When I called initially and the woman who answered the phone was so rude! I decided to cancel the appointment. ..it was too close to the appointment when I did ..instead of saying ok think of using us next time...she instead called me a jerk!..I wouldn't recommend this place at all!

Yes she was rude when I called...monday not wednesday However I made the appointment for my dryer not my dishwasher for Friday! It's true I cancelled the appointment at the last minute it just kinda slipped my mind! My wife and I bought another dryer..now all that being said I'm sure it's no reason to be called a jerk as I was being polite when I called...how bout this?!?! I'm sorry for calling so late and you are just sorry! There's no excuse for talking to customers so rudely even when they are wrong! !

Don was great, he quickly diagnosed the issue with a very special wine cooler and solved the problem easily. I also appreciated the attempt to save me money by attempting to fix a ice maker without replacing. When we had to replace he quickly acquired the ice maker and replaced it. Thank you!!

In this world of throw away appliances, it's refreshing to know that someone's willing to repair older equipment. I called and made an appointment to have Don come look at our broken washer. He diagnosed the issues and said it would take a few days to get the parts. We said yes to the suggested repairs and I am COMPLETELY satisfied with his service. I would definitely recommend this company!

From the lady that took our call who told us about the service call that will be needed. She put me in contact with Don the technician. Don stop by did a quick diagnosis of the problem ordered the parts and the next day he came and repaired our washing machine. And a big thanks do Don and his wife at ATC services.

DO NOT HIRE THEM UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCE! I had a service call to fix my range and washing machine. The range was repaired to my satisfaction.

He narrowed down the problem with the washing machine to one of two parts. He recommended that I order both and try them to see which it was. After installing both new parts, the problem persisted. I also discovered that his son was wrenching on the drain plug and may have cross threaded it. (see picture)

I called them back and attempted to setup another service call to fix the washing machine. She said she would call me back.

After a few days, I called back and was informed by the rude woman on the phone that nothing was damaged and that they don't work on appliances that someone else had previously worked on. She also knew exactly what happened in my home while she wasn't there.

If you want someone to guess at your problem and recommend that you buy the parts yourself, this is the company for you. If you want the problem fixed, please call anyone else.

With regards to the refrigerator, I told you up front that I had previously replaced the water valve and that did not solve the issue.

Back to the washer. You tried a switch that you had on your truck, but you said that it may not have been the proper switch. You recommended that I order the proper switch as well as the main control board as the problem was with one of those components. You told me that you would be stuck paying for the components if you ordered them and recommended that I buy them myself to avoid that.

I was charged $187 which I gladly paid, not the $42 he lied about. See pictures.

As for the phone call, my initial call was very friendly. I simply stated that I had ordered and installed the parts recommended and that I still had the same problem. I also mentioned my concern with the drain plug. I requested a phone call from you at that time so we could figure out the best way to complete the repair. The office girl immediately started arguing and telling me that you would never recommend that someone order their own parts or leave something unrepaired. After several minutes of attempting to communicate with her, I stated that I "just need to get it fixed." she said that she would have to talk to you and then call me back. We said our goodbyes and ended the call. I never once stated that I wanted you to come back for free.

You are correct about my second call. I waited a few days and called back when I didn't hear anything from you. I did open by saying that I called a few days ago and didn't receive a call back. After giving her my name, I was informed by your office girl that you told her you weren't going to do any additional service work for me. She quoted you, saying "if he calls back, tell him I'm not going to do any more work for him." I was also informed by her that you never touched my washer or even looked at it, nor was it on the original workorder. She told me that I'm the one that chewed up the drain plug with a wrench and that I was lying. She became even more argumentative and continued calling me a liar. She also informed me that you don't work with DIY'ers. You only work on appliances that are broken and no troubleshooting has occured. She used an example of a clogged drain and said something to the effect of: I had a clogged drain so I called a plumber. He went down there and fixed it and I paid him. That seems pretty ridiculous to me-you didn't even look to see if something was covering it? Do you own a toilet plunger? After continously being called a liar, being told that you wouldn't service my appliances, and being interrupted every time I tried to complete a statement, I did in fact hang up on her.

I think this would've ended up in a much better place if I was able to speak with you directly. If you did it attempt to call me, I never received a voicemail, and I don't show a missed call from you.

Actually, we've used this place for a few years for servicing dishwashers, washing machines, driers, etc. They've always been on the pricey side, but seemed to offer good service. Until today. I called because the dishwasher we had them fix a few weeks ago was still not working properly... so, I asked if we could have a discount on installing a new dishwasher, due to spending $150 on a repair that failed, and because we've used them so much. Instead of a kind discussion, the lady was insanely rude to me, and acted like I was trying to put them out of business or something by simply asking the question.

I was just asking a simple question, and then got preached to in a condescending manner. Okay... I get it, you don't value customer loyalty, and would rather lose our business, and have us tell others about your poor attitude. You can simply give a kind no for an answer, you don't need to get so nasty, folks. Wow.

I am very happy with the service I received from Appliance Tech-Care Services Inc. They came to fix my refrigerator the same day I called. They had the part I needed in their truck, and in 30 minutes had my 19 year old refrigerator working (and sounding) like new. I would not hesitate to call them again for any type of appliance repair.

We just moved into a new house and our washing machine was broken. I called a few places, but ATC Services was the first to get back to us and was able to accommodate our schedule. When Don arrived, he knew exactly how to fix the issues and did so in a timely manner even with having to order two different parts. He was very friendly, knowledgeable, and efficient. We highly recommend ATC Services.

My 2 year old stove wouldn’t maintain heat. Needless to say, I was not happy that such a new appliance wasn’t working correctly (and of course, it was out of warranty). I called Appliance Tech Care, the repairman came in a timely manner. After determining that the heating element had failed, a new one was ordered. I anticipated at least 10-14 days without my oven, but two days later Don called and came over late on a Friday afternoon with a new element! Highly recommend Aapliance Tech Care for their prompt response, extensive background knowledge and experience, and efficient service. Experience means a lot, and I will certainly use their service again if I have an appliance that needs repair.

    Hi Don,

Again, thank you for your help and kind advice on my twenty year old Hotpoint clothes washing machine. After our meeting I immediately stopped at The Home Depot on my quest to locate a new washing machine, and I ended up buying a Maytag clothes washer for a decent price, including installation, and removing and hauling the old one.

All-in-all, it turned out to be a wonderful day. The Maytag is scheduled to be delivered on this coming Tuesday.

Thanks for the kind words about my three dogs!!! As you probably realized, although they look like Basenjis, they must have some Rat Terrier in their blood. They can be a rowdy bunch. They get along famously with my three
cats, but the cats do keep them in line when they need to. The cats all have their full complement of teeth and claws and they are quite willing to use them if necessary. But it seldom is.

As soon as you left, I let them all out of their crates/carriers.

Thanks again for your quick and knowledgeable service!!!

    You come very highly recommended.

    Your friend,

    Terry Isaac

Don is the BEST. He diagnosed my refrigerator icemaker problem, fixed it as soon as the part came in, and he was thoroughly professional and courteous and even provided helpful advice. He truly went the extra mile to be sure I was happy- he's been "our guy" for years and truly understands appliances. PLUS- his pricing is very fair. If you want an EXPERT- this is the guy.

When my washer and dryer combination stopped working I called Appliance Tech-Care on Monday morning. The technician Don came that afternoon and quickly fixed the problem. He showed me the problems and corrected them. The price was fair for the work. If I ever have an appliance problem again, this will be the first company I call. I highly recommend it.

The lady I spoke to on the phone kept talking about how I needed to know who makes my freezer and wouldn't believe me that Marquette was the name of the freezer. She also kept stating how big of a job it would be, and not in that nice, set the customer's expectations way. :) There's a way to communicate the issues in a friendly way and she just didn't have a friendly tone at all. I had to have the exact part numbers for replacement parts for my freezer. This is why i call the professionals... or at least who I thought was a professional.

Super speedy on getting over here to see what was wrong with our fridge. Very knowledgeable and could really tell he wanted to save me as much money as he could. Ultimately looks like we’re going to have to buy a new fridge but still very thankful for the advice and will call again if we need them!

Prompt and amazing customer service. Called to update to what time he would be arriving. Also because of the “make” of my washing machine Don was able to connect me with the company and if needed make a recommendation on a new washing. Would definitely recommend to friends and family

When my Samsung washer broke down I was at my wits' end trying to find someone who would service it. I was SO lucky to find Appliance Tech Care! In addition to getting my washer up and running again, Don took the time to completely explain how my washer works and what had gone wrong with it, and even extended a 90 day guarantee. He also took the time to help me identify the source of an odor in my washer and explained how to correct that, telling me if I had any other questions any time to just call Marie and she'd help me out. What a relief to find such honest, professional, caring service. I will definitely use ATC for any other appliance repairs!

I had Don for my dishwasher repair and he was fantastic!! He diagnosed the problem, was able to get the part needed for my discontinued dishwasher, he called and came right over to do the repair. He was so nice and knowledgeable. I highly recommend him!

I see most of the negative comments are about the "lady behind the phone." I will agree to a certain extent. I was trying to ask questions about why the service fee was never disclosed until the work was done and she was explaining and making her points. However a couple of sarcastic laughs and snide comments weren't necessary. I've been in the customer service industry my entire career and I would love for her to come to one of my seminars😁
Must be married into the business. Again, the service fee was never disclosed until the repair was done, but I guess we could have asked. At least the repairs are done and we can go back to normal kitchen life
