I put a post in our local Facebook group looking for someone who does thatching. Immediately I had a response from Rodney & his team was out to my home the very next day! They were extremely fast and did great work! As a result, I'm looking at switching our fertilizer service over to them too! Good customer service!

Rodney and his team are great. I've used them for a while now on mowing, fertilization, and maintenance for my mulch beds. They all look beautiful. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this team of professionals.

We have been beyond happy with the service we have received from Rodney/Brighter Image.
Prior to the first snowplowing they did for us, I had shoveled a path between my garage and the little patch of garden to use for taking the dogs over to the backyard. Without being asked, Brighter Image saw that path and they steer the plow away from the area so that it is still accessible.
That attention to small detail is far beyond what any plow company had ever done in the 22 years we've lived here.

A walkway that was in great disrepair was redesigned and installed resulting in a beautiful and welcoming entryway to our home. Every once in awhile you find that contractor or service partner that makes you wonder why you went anywhere else. That's The Ground Crafter. We've done several large-scale projects at different homes with TGC and WOW.....they make it so easy, and the outcome is second to none. We've done massive changes to some spaces and more minor updates to others and between the kindness of the team to the cleanup being great, to the final outcome of the project, TGC is just fantastic. Call them first or call them last, but call them. You will be very happy by the outcome.

Tom at the The Ground Crafter has been great to work with on the design and installation of the DockShader system for our pier on Lake Delavan. The unique engineering and craftmanship of the product is unlike many "off the shelf" products that I have seen. This product compliments the beautiful landscaping, hardscape, and exterior lighting that was also completed by The Ground Crafter. Tom has an eye for detail, but more importantly, he provides a level of customer service that is hard to come by these days!

In 2015, after rebuilding our garage, we had a fairly large (in 'Tosa standards) back yard that was just short of mundane. As the yard sloped to the home, heavy rains were an issue as water didn't channel from our home. We had an old, dilapidated patio and flag stone stepping stones that I had gathered from around the yard led to the patio and garage from our porch. Long story short, we contacted Tom Auer to help us do something with the yard. He created a "dry river" of river stone, from the back yard draining runoff to the front of the lot, created a brick walkway around the porch to a beautiful new patio, complete with a large multi-stone water feature. Large flagstone led to our garage and a path to our fence. Landscaped with multiple shrubs, hosta and bush, he created a paradise in or back yard. Words cannot describe the results. His crew was amazing, prompt on the job and attention to detail on the brickwork was over-the-top. 10 years later it still looks wonderful, but is in need of refreshing. We can't wait to get The Ground Crafter back and make things sparkle again.
