I called Doug the Tuesday after Memorial Day. I had some odd issues with a gutter with winds causing it to vibrate in the night making an unbearable sound. I was able to diagnose the problem on my own…. And it certainly required a tall ladder and some screws which I am not comfortable doing myself.

I called Doug at 8am and he was here before 9. And the problem was solved. While I can’t imagine Doug would have this free of a schedule to fix an issue in less than hour for everyone, it definitely showed me that this is a very prompt service who will listen and work with you to get things done.

My husband and I are not handy, at all. We had several projects piling up and so I searched for a handyman. Found the perfect one. Doug and Cory have visited 2 times to handle various projects. They reframed a door, fixed an outdoor faucet that wasn't working, and installed a new rural curbside mailbox. The next time they replaced our kitchen sink and the faucet. I was missing some important extra parts, no problem, they had some in the truck. We're having them back next week to tile our backsplash. They are professional, helpful, and friendly. The price is absolutely perfect.

Doug has been to our home a number of times over the years. Be it roof repair, electrical or last night, a plumbing issue after hours. Always prompt and courteous, explaining as he works. Thank you Doug for coming to our rescue time and time again.

Doug and his son Cory are very polite, professional and prompt! As someone who has worked with family for over 20 years, I appreciate quality family run businesses. Called around needing last minute repairs before a tenant was moving in and Doug helped the same day which was greatly appreciated. It took a little while to receive the bill, I had said I would pay cash. Eventually got the bill and there was a $100 worth of trip fees for a 4 mile drive. Verona to Verona. I thought that was a bit odd. When I asked about it, he was defensive in the response. I was hoping to use him in the future because he did a good job. I just don't see the trip charges justified for a 4 mile radius.

I had Doug and Corey remodel my bathrooms of which I am very satisfied with their workmanship. Doug helped me with some ideas prior to starting and if they had a question or problem along the way they asked me about it before just doing it. After they were done, they left the area very clean and hauled things that were replaced. I will definitely use them again for any project I may have in the future.

Doug is very professional. He can do it all! Plumbing, electrical, carpentry. I have used him for several home repair projects and he never disappoints.

Cory came out to our home this morning to install a new faucet and garbage disposal. Appointment was scheduled for 7:30 am and Cory rang my doorbell at 7:28, which I greatly appreciated considering how hectic our mornings can be. Approximately 1 hour later our new faucet and disposal were working great! Thanks Cory! We'll look to use Doug's again for additional projects.

I reached out to Doug for a bunch of little things needing to be completed around the house that grew to a big thing we could not handle.

He came out to review and started work same day. Honestly, no job is too small and I cannot endorse Doug and the company enough. He methodically went through everything, made recommendations on the best way to approach each item, and knew everything about everything - from drywall repairs to re-aligning doors to plumbing and windows.

Doug was beyond knowledgeable, prompt, efficient, and took care to keep the work space in each room clean.

He worked with our busy schedules and tight timeframe. I only wish I found him sooner!

We hired Doug a few months ago to fix some irreplaceable cabinets and drawers in our kitchen, put together a file cabinet, and fix a few other random things around our house. Doug did a great job on everything, especially the cabinets and drawers, which have held up very well since then. Aside from being a great handyman, Doug is also really nice guy and very easy to communicate with. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a handyman.

I initially reached out to Doug's handyman service back in August with a small list of fixes I wanted done around the house. (Small siding repair, interior door patch, caulking, etc). I used the
contact us page on their website, I got a response the next day from Cory simply asking me what kind of siding I have, and if I had any extra pieces. No quote, no scheduled time to come out and look at any of the issues around the home. I responded to Cory that day letting him know about the siding and asked when they would get an estimate to me or schedule a visit. No response.

I emailed Cory again saying I was still waiting a response and asked if Doug's Handyman Service was still interested in the jobs? No response.

So I called their main number and left a voicemail, no response. I even filled out another inquiry on their site and got no response.

I'm not sure why they ghosted me when I have many small jobs that I want to pay someone to fix. Either they are too busy or they don't want to jobs. Which is fine, but at least respond to the customers.

Doug is great! I got a prompt appointment and he took care of a long list of issues I've been fretting about for a good price. I'm very happy with the work! He's personable and professional and did a great job explaining everything to me. I will definitely recommend him to others.

Doug was very capable of handling a clogged sink, etc but really impressed us with his ability to solve a lighting problem we had given up on! He took the time to really think it all through and had all the materials with him and made everything work! Highly recommend Doug!

I called Doug's Handyman Service to get a wall in my basement finished. He did my wall in just 2 days and I asked about a new handrail in the basement and railings on the front porch. They explained everything and were efficient and friendly and knowledgeable. I put him in speed dial I will definately use him again

Doug was amazing to work with on a few projects we needed to complete before the new buyers took ownership of our home. He was "johnny on the spot" after we connected with him and explained our situation. He saved us time and money by figuring out some solutions to our door and window issues.

I needed help with a bathroom fixture. The work was done In a short period of time was done accurately the price was right. I would definitely recommend Doug to anyone needing projects done around the house that you’re just not able to do Yourself or maybe you just don’t have the time.
