One of the best electrical supply places around. Their showrooms have so many light fixtures it can be dizzying. High quality merchandise at very good prices. Definitely check them out if you need anything that has to do with electrical or lighting. Highly recommended.

I would like to thank josh Carmichael and his team at the Birmingham location for the outstanding job they did for me on getting a materials quote and submittals together for a job I'm bidding. I had gotten sick and was a week and a half behind on this estimate and was going to ask for an extension with the contractor. But due to josh's hard work and quick turnaround it wasn't even necessary josh had the materials quote and submittals back to me in an impressive 3 days. and I turned my bid in on time. Thank you josh Carmichael and thank you inline for taking care of a customer for life.

City Electric Supply is hands down one of the best hardware and electrical supply stores I’ve ever been to. The team here goes above and beyond every time I stop in. The company appears to dismiss client concerns by labeling negative feedback as “fake reviews,” to protect their image which raises concerns about their accountability and professionalism. My experience was disappointing they communicated in a disrespectful manner and did not handle our interaction appropriately. When I asked direct and reasonable questions, the conversation escalated into an argument, and service was ultimately refused. Overall, their approach came across as defensive and unprofessional, prioritizing protecting their image over delivering quality customer service. Based on this experience, I would not recommend booking with them.
