The Shoppe is a great place to buy local. The customer service is fabulous and the prices are very reasonable compared to other locally owned places. Also a great place to pick up hostess, get better, or housewarming gifts. Also the store is just the cutest.

These guys did beautiful and creative bespoke work for us for a last minute gift even though we were there right before closing! Beautiful store with great offerings too.

LOVE this spot so much. It's giving new life to such a cozy, historic neighborhood (Forest Park). The greenhouse is one of the most photographable spots in Bham. Mark and Jay are amazing and the entire staff is so knowledgeable and helpful. Their customer service is great. And the prices are amazingly accessible, too.

Lovely garden store that doubles as a an event venue. It was wonderfully intimate, with some of the party spent in a light drizzle. The party kept on, sheltered partly by Shoppe's giant oak tree, partly happy to just stand in the rain.

Also step next door and enjoy a cup of coffee and he decor from the sister store, General.

Really nice place and nice people. Their plants look good and have a nice variety. They're a bit pricey, however, sometimes you can find some decent-priced items.

Such a charming shop! The staff was helpful, the plants and property were beautiful. Just the right amount of plants as to not be an overwhelming selection! Not Wal-Mart prices, but also not Wal-Mart quality. Great place to go for gifts! I'll definitely be back!

Moved right down the road from this place and stumbled across it while driving around and checking out the neighborhood. This is hands down my favorite plant shop in bham. Super affordable, very friendly people, and the place is so cute it’s like a mini vacation every time you go. I take everyone I can get to go with me now. And thanks to this place my apartment looks like a jungle ❤️❤️

Shoppe is amazing. Everyone is so helpful and knowledgeable. Great variety of plants and decor. The design and setup is beautiful - you don’t mind just hanging out and walking around. Lots of candles, gifts, etc - all reasonably priced considering convenience, great products, the knowledge and assistance you get.

This is the most aesthetically pleasing garden shoppe I have ever been to in B’ham. Beautiful touches everywhere and a thoughtful conscious arrangement of plants and accessories to provoke a wonderful experience. I also haven’t had my plant potted up for me since I was a child. Truly a delightful experience!! Well done!!!

The crowing jewel of Forest Park. I absolutely love this place! I come here for most of my hostess/neighborly gifts- buying a new plant rather than springing for grocery store flowers (it lasts longer). A gorgeous greenhouse welcomes you as you pull up housing the most magical plants. What I also love is that it's not just a nursery- it has an incredible array of home goods and specialty gifts as well! I frequently purchase the elegant long tapers they sell in a rainbow of colors. The staff is both passionate and knowledgeable- a winning combo for sure! The owners are involved and so good at what they do. Birmingham is lucky to have Shoppe!

The plants are great, but I went in to check out the books, and I was impressed. Shoppe has the most intriguing selection on Birmingham history (with an emphasis on urban planning and architecture) that I have come across in town - all housed in a charming store. Well worth a visit.

Reserved the greenhouse for my proposal to my girlfriend, the staff was incredible and kind and accommodating. I’ve purchased a plant before here too and we still have it in our home! Love the atmosphere and people

This is one of my favorite hidden gems of Birmingham. They have a great selection of plants. I absolutely love this shop, they have a beautiful greenhouse, and I also love the outside area. The house is very cool and this place is a must visit spot.

We made a trip from Mississippi to visit Shoppe today and it was well worth the drive! Great selection with great service from Mark, Christian & Terry. We ate lunch at General next door which was perfect. We will be back soon!

While this is a stunning and beautiful place to shop for healthy plants and beautiful gifts, the staff isn't very friendly nor helpful. I've bought 5 large plants, many succulents and air plants along with 2 gorgeous Italian concrete planters but have only met one friendly staff member. It's a bit pretentious and I have taken my business elsewhere because of this.
