Sexton has done yard maintenance for us over the years and recently completed a sod/palm/irrigation installation. The pricing was fair and we were impressed with the quality of work and professionalism of everyone we interacted with during the process, especially the team leader Andre who managed our project.

Sexton is the only company that was able to kill a stubborn weed. One of the great benefits of having a local company is that they know our climate, what grows here and what to use to build a healthy lawn.

After making a lot of changes in my back yard, I called Sexton to see about getting some sod. I told Tim what I wanted done and he told me what Sexton could do and how they'd do it. Johnathan and his crew came in and did everything right, including making sure the irrigation system was doing its job and taking out a section of cement so I could enlarge the yard. It came out great, as you can see from the pictures. (Tree was removed by another company.) So, last year, I had them take care if the front. This time, it was Pam who told me what they could do for me and it was, again, Johnathan, Alex and crew that did a terrific job on the installation, which included sod, a walkway and re-doing a flowerbed. They made sure I knew what was happening every step of the way. Sexton also followed-up after the job to make sure there are no problems. Every service and job they've done has been top-notch and it's a pleasure working with the company.

We asked Pam Pace from Sexton Lawn & Landscaping to come up with a plan that involved moving existing trees and bushes, installing 10 ft hollies, and creating a new planting bed at the front of the lot. She listened, came back with options then finalized a plan and did a super job. The crew led by Audrey Whitfield and Brandyn Goodloe did an outstanding job staying at it non-stop over the 2 1/2 days. Our property was left in great shape when done. Highly recommend this team!

We recently contracted with Sexton Lawn and Landscaping for a major project in our backyard. We wanted a landscape design to seamlessly complement our recently installed covered pergola, outdoor kitchen and fire table. When Sexton’s landscape designer, Maggie Coker, asked what we had in mind, our reply was “Design a ‘Wow Factor’ impact when you step out onto the backyard patio”. Maggie exceeded our expectations with a terrific design at a price that was more than competitive with the two other well known local landscaping companies from whom we also received proposals. With a degree in horticulture and landscape design, her product and professionalism far exceeded her competitors. The subsequent communication from Sexton’s scheduler, Natalie, and overall installation manager, Keith Mills, was also excellent. The Sexton installers, George, Damon and Panda were also top notch landscape professionals. They kept us well informed throughout their work, were courteous and efficient and flawlessly implemented the agreed upon design. Andre and Wilmer who replaced some sod for us were equally efficient in their work. Every Sexton employee we encountered was enthusiastic and professional in their interaction with us. Good luck finding that anywhere else! We are very pleased with the finished results of the landscaping from Sexton Lawn & Landscaping. The crew worked very hard and were very courteous with our questions and concerns. The crew ( Eric’s crew, Eric, Mike, Ennie, Devon ) were great! Very hard workers. I would like to especially thank Eric, he kept us well informed with the progress each day, made expert decisions that weren’t included with the original plan that paid off in the final results. Cannot say enough great things about Sexton. We installed a pool in our back yard and then had Sexton come in to install landscaping to complete the project. Pam worked with us on the design and Caleb, Donnie and Murray were the team that did the work. They could not have been better to work with. They were reliable, they communicated well and took pride in their work. And they finished the job when they said they would!! We are going to re-do our front yard and will definitely be requesting the same team again.

Pam designed an incredible landscape for our yard. She even told me how she envisioned added lighting to cast on the house highlighting our new plants and trees. We started with dead plants and old pine straw so I couldn’t wait to see what she could do with her team. The results are so much better than I imagined. Sextons crew is unbeatable as well. Eric and Daniel completed everything in just 2 days! I was mind blown at their work, the details, adding in additional rocks to our walkway without me even having to ask and replanted a tree we had to our back yard that we wanted to keep. The customer service, the quality of work, the design and creativity…. Unbeatable. Thank you Pam and team! We also signed up for maintenance and they came out today to trim up around the house to our existing plants in the backyard. Everything was completed in under one week. Again, can’t beat it. I contacted Sexton landscaping after I saw their truck with their advertising on the side of the truck. Pam was able to meet me at my residence in Gulf shores, she quoted me a turnkey price for my front yard. Andre did a splendid job making it happen! Everything went better than I could have expected! Being that I was out of town during, Andre was great with reporting daily progress and keeping me abreast of all issues! As the work was completed and all that was left was adding and adjusting the irrigation system which Lane was very diligent in doing what needed to be done to provide the proper coverage and setting the watering days and times! I can't even tell you how pleased we our with Sexton. Everyone we have had come to the house has been so personable and have done a great job on our yard. I see Bryan and Alexander every Tuesday and they are just the nicest men. They take so much pride in my yard. Kristy, Jacob, Luke, Caiden, Joey, George and Joe have all been great about communicating and they have done a good job as well. Mark Hearn is our main contact and he has done a great job of organizing everyone to getting our lawn back to looking beautiful. We can't say enough great things about Sexton.

Sexton just did a complete overhaul on our backyard & we couldn't be more pleased. Pam was professional, extremely helpful & patient with us from the beginning. She did an excellent job designing our yard & advising us on the best thing to do. Once the project started Stephen, our project manager was great to work with. He was very communicative in explaining things to us along the way & making sure everything was done properly & as we wanted it. He & his helper Kyle worked especially hard for us to get the job done right, as did Brandon in helping with the sod.

After Covid, I pretty much gave up Hope for good customer service until I met the Crew at Sexton . They were professional honest, timely, efficient …just good people! Pam is awesome Eric, our foreman was unbelievable and TQ and Enny worked hard and made it a point to speak every day and have a nice little conversation. The final product was beautiful, my house looks like a resort and this team is exceptional! I would recommend them any day of the week!

We recently purchased a 6-year-old home in Fairhope, AL that was in desperate need of a complete landscaping makeover, lawn rejuvenation, and irrigation repairs. After researching several landscaping businesses in the area, we were drawn to Sexton Lawn and Landscape based on their service portfolio covering all of our needs, presence in the area, and solid reviews.

After making a web-based inquiry, I was contacted by Pam Pace, Landscape Project Manager, who promptly scheduled an in-person meeting to discuss our needs. Pam was super friendly and listened carefully to our requirements and ideas—which were minimal, as we wanted an experienced professional to develop the detailed plan. Two weeks after our initial meeting, Pam scheduled a second in-person meeting to present her plan, which included removal of existing overgrown shrubs and perennials, redefining planting beds/soil amendments, and installation of new trees/shrubs/perennials, bed edging, percolation drains in a poorly drained area, and uplighting. We were thrilled with the plan and decided to schedule everything for installation a few weeks later. Pam remained in contact with us throughout to make sure everything was going well and provide assistance where needed. Pam also arranged for us to join Sexton’s lawn health and irrigation maintenance programs.

Prior to the new landscape installation, Lane (Sexton irrigation specialist) visited us a couple of times to address several leaks in the irrigation system and fine-tune the watering area. Lane was super personable and helpful in answering any questions or concerns we had. He was able to repair all the major issues we had.

The new landscape installation took about 6 days to complete. We had the same four-person crew each day, supplemented with a couple of extra workers when needed. Our crew included Wes (lead), Adalie, Mo, Quincy, Matt, and Joe. Everyone was personable and respectful. They worked hard, even through a couple of days of inclement weather, and took great care of our property. Their work included the items I noted above, and Wes worked collaboratively with us to make adjustments along the way that made the final product look even better!

To say we were happy with our Sexton experience would be an understatement. Our satisfaction is further underscored by our commitment to join their lawn and ornamental health programs to protect the landscaping investments we made. Although everything looks great now, we are anxious to see how nice everything looks a year from now after plantings get established. We have received several compliments from neighbors, and some of them are reaching out to Sexton for services. We certainly plan to be with Sexton for a long time!

I called Sexton’s to help with a drainage issue and to beautify our backyard. And oh boy did they deliver! Pam Pace came up with a beautiful design layout that included a dry creek bed to resolve the drainage/erosion issue. Her selection of plants and sod was carefully selected to ensure they would fit into the natural rustic landscape and would thrive in the environment.

Once the design was completed, the crew, led by Wes with Adalid and Logan, arrived to implement the design. These three guys did the most unbelievable job! Wes met with me briefly each morning to go over the day’s plan and gather my input. They cleaned the work area at the end of each day and were respectful. They were such a joy to work with I hated to see them leave. 😆 The job was completed on time, even with additional work we opted to add. I really can’t say enough about this team. From Pam’s vision to Wes, Adalid, and Logan’s implementation this was perfection! Will definitely call them again for any future projects!
