Excellent! Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Solved my garbage disposal issue within 5 minutes. Highly recommend. Hopefully I don't have major plumbing issues in the future but if I do I'm coming straight back to them.

I chose Charity Plumbing because I met Jim, the owner, in person after driving by his shop. He shared his story, and I felt comfortable supporting a small, locally owned business rather than a corporate plumbing company, even if it meant paying a little more. The scope of work was a rough-in for our master bathroom. Before the job, I asked exactly what they needed to make things go smoothly. I was told: floors opened to the crawl space, shower fixture instructions, and toilet instructions. I provided all of that, including clear locations for the shower head and handle. The depth was to be determined by the manufacturer’s instructions and the professional I hired. There were some minor communication issues during the rough-in, but I was overall satisfied at the time and didn’t make a big deal out of it. Problems surfaced after tile was installed and we began test-fitting the shower trim. The mixing valve cover, shower head, and handle were all set at the wrong depth. I contacted Jim directly, since he was who I had dealt with from the beginning. His response was: “Sir, I do not handle grievances. If you disagree with what Christian says, please speak with my business partner Crystal.” As a business owner myself, I was disappointed. I expect the person who starts a customer relationship to at least investigate an issue rather than immediately deflect it. If that’s how he runs his business, that’s his choice, but it did not sit well with me. I then contacted Crystal, who was very personable and professional. We had a three-way call with Christian, the field manager who installed the fixtures. During that call, there was no ownership of the mistake. I was told we were “both to blame,” even though I provided locations and the depth was determined by the instructions and the installer’s professional judgment. To mitigate the issue, Crystal offered to reduce labor from $150/hr to $80/hr. Christian said the fix would take about 1.5 hours and instructed me to cut the drywall behind the valves. I asked who would repair the drywall, and Crystal mentioned they had a drywall person who could handle it afterward. That night, I opened the wall and ended up correcting the valve depth myself in about 30 minutes. I informed Crystal the next day. The shower head and handle still needed adapters, and I also asked if they could finish the sink plumbing while on site. Joshua was sent out to install the sinks. Water lines went in fine, but when it came time to connect the drains, he didn’t have the correct fittings. He said he would need to drive to Lowe’s, which would be a 1.5–2 hour round trip billed at labor rate plus materials and a 30% markup. That would have been roughly $200 for two $4 parts. I declined, told him to leave what he could, and said I would finish it myself. Unfortunately, he also left without the straight drop pipes, which I had to source myself as well. At this point, after spending $3,500 on a rough-in that wasn’t done correctly and being told I’d need to spend another $500 to fix issues I didn’t create, I was completely done dealing with this company. Afterward, I followed up with Crystal regarding the drywall repair. I was under the impression it would be covered since the wall had to be opened due to their mistake. She said they never agreed to cover it, but offered to pay half of a $300 repair to close the job out. People make mistakes, and I am understanding of that. What ultimately led to this 1-star review is the lack of ownership and accountability. To this day, no one has taken responsibility for the shower rough-in error, and I had to physically correct it myself. As a newer company in town, this is not a good look. I wish them well, and I hope others have a better experience than I did, as some reviews suggest they have. This review simply reflects my experience.
