Cant give a zero, but would if I could. Not very organized. Recommending to Insurance Company to not use this organization.
-
Don't hire these guys. Got me for 3k @ Xmas a few years back. Wouldn't let them restore my dog house! 😳😂✌🏾
-
So far so good, I pray now when the work begins on restoring my house they continue to do as good a job as they have done getting everything in place contract wise!
-
Few workers. Only worked couple days a week. Caused extra expense on other contractors. Expected job finally completed within a couple of months. Insurance discrepancies during particular job.
-
Overall great service, quick, and reliable.

I wish google have negative stars. I regret not reading reviews before hiring this company. I do not have ONE good thing to say about this company. You are better off finding a tutorial on youtube and doing it yourself!
-
I would give zero stars if I could. This company is so unorganized and couldnt keep anything straight. I gave them our information multiple times and they could never keep it straight. After aeveral attempts to talk to the person they sent out to look at our roof, I decided to go with somosom else .

Like the others have said....if I could give a zero I would. I have no idea why my insurance company uses Apex, other than they must be low cost. I'm not going to waste any more of my life on these guys writing a review, but since I use google reviews I will tell you don't, just don't

Do not use this company!!! At the recommendation of my insurance company, they replaced my roof. It started leaking soon after they replaced.. it’s been 8 months since and still no repair on the leak..use anyone but this company..

These young men were very friendly. The problems were, they didn’t return very often (nor when they said they would come) to check on the progress of drying out our home, we had to change positions of fans because they would not returning for long periods of time. Apex was careless in how they performed their work, the equipment was running so long (unchecked) that it killed a large section of our grass. We finally had to move around the equipment in the yard to keep from killing more grass. They finally picked up all there equipment 30 days later. After job completed we had a heating and air person check in crawl space, only to find Apex left some duct work torn. We are insured through USAA AND ALL THIS HAS BEEN FILED WITH THEM. I PLEADED WITH USAA TO NOT USE APEX FOR FUTURE WORK. I hope this helps anyone in search of a restoration company.

I’d definitely recommend Apex Restoration based off my recent experience. We had a water damage emergency. We called after hours and Colby was there within 2 hours with the necessary equipment. He was thorough and kept checking in regularly on the status of the mitigation steps. He was professional and cared for my home. Because of his quick response, we were able to save thousands in repairs.

Absolutely horrible experience with a small restoration. My insurance company recommended this company, and I'm not sure why. They are incredibly disorganized and communicate even worse. They show up when they aren't scheduled and don't show up when they are scheduled. In one case the workers just didn't show up and the PM didn't realize it until the next morning!! Too many issues to list. TERRIBLE project management and I would NEVER pay them on my own. I'm firing my insurance company (USAA) over this debacle.
Please find another restoration company if your insurance provider recommends these people, then find another insurance provider. -
Let me start at the start of my process. I explain to them what the job was going to intel. But yet for some reason they were not listening. It took them five time coming out to my home to understand the full detail of what needed to be done. They put my repairs on the back burner as long as possible, stating that they would start this day but when it came to that day their employees were at another job. When they did come out, I was told that x y and z would be complete that day by the project manager, will only x was explained to the crew that came out and they were tasked with other jobs so they could not finish when I asked why they were not completing that days work. I was never provided samples and they wanted to charge me more for what I wanted because I had to go out and look for my own flooring, never provide with vanity or tub style before they installed them, and they claimed they did more work to the insurance company then the actual done, I fired them and finished the job for them.

Colby and the DKI water mitigation team were rockstars!!!! They were Johnny on the spot when the city sewer backed up into our house. Very professional, very courteous, and they were very thorough. The fact that they are good at what they do is a bonus as well. Glad to have professionals on your side in your time of need. 10/10 would use again. Don’t want to HAVE to use them again, but should the need arise, they’ll be my go to.

My Kitchen caught a fire in Oct. Apex did a great
Job in cleaning things up. They have 2 employees that are great works. Their kind ,organized , very hard workers. Mike and Zack are the nicest young men. Can’t find people like that these days. -
APEX started our bathroom in May 2016. They said they would be done i n 7 to 10 days. As of July 20th they still had not finished. We had a vacation planned and upon our return, the unprofessional work ethic and attitude continued so we fired them.
The problems:
They have installed the tile flooring incorrectly, it is very uneven, has to be removed and replaced. The tile was uneven, grout lines not the same and tile was crooked. They chipped floor tile trying to fix the mistakes they made.
They rebuilt the shower walls but made the shower to large. The cabinets now do fit in place. The shower walls have to removed as does the mud bed for the shower.
The tile work they did on the shower had to removed because they had a 1 inch bow i n the wall. The bow in the wall was due to APEX's contractors putting inch of thin set or mortar behind the tile, inch thick!
The floor pan was not sealed or glued correctly. This was pointed out to me two other contractors who have given us bids.
APEX also did not install the left counter properly so they cut the stone back splash and side splash to try to make it fit. They cut the back splash uneven.
They broke fixtures in the bathroom.
I had to make them put insulation back in the walls.
Apex did paint behind the counters in the bathroom.
Apex contractors would show up and work for a couple of hours and then leave to g to another job. At times they didn't even show up.
I was told not to worry about the job in progress but the end result. If your foundation on the job is not right the finished product will be junk!
APEX would lie to us about job finish date. They would tell us we will be done by this Friday, but the tile had not been ordered or was not going to in till the next week.
The contractors would sit out back and smoke under my Gazebo! One of the guys had his girl friend hanging out all day. They did fire him after I brought this up.
I had to tell them to not smoke under my Gazebo, don't put your stuff on my grill, do not smoke on my porch, do not turn on my outside fans and for them to clean up after themselves. -
Do not use this company. They cut corners and just want checks signed whether it's done correctly or not. There was a problem (that I personally noticed and pointed out and it was never brought to my attention by the contractor). It could have been easily fixed during the repair process but was not addressed and work that was completed now has to be undone to fix this. In addition, they have acted like this is a total inconvenience for them when they failed to notice the issue (or ignored it) in the first place. Use any other company but this one. They billed for several services they did not provide It took over 3 weeks for anyone to even come out and evaluate/fix the issue after it was pointed out to them (they already had all of their large checks signed at this point). And their "fix"was more like a bandaid and try and tell my wife there wont be any issues with it. Slow response times. Poor customer service. Their "customer service" team that is supposed to regular check in with you called 1 time at the beginning of the job and never heard from them again. This job was a 2-3 week job and is now on month 3. If you want repairs done timely and properly look elsewhere.

Great service
Paul Vann and Kevin were exceptional in getting our home repaired after storm damage. They kept us informed on the progress of the completion of work. They made sure all the repairs were to our satisfaction. -
DEFINITELY RECOMMEND APEX Restoration for any and all mitigation needs. Colby and the DKI water mitigation team did an outstanding job from start to finish. I can't say enough about their professionalism, courtesy, care and concern for our home. We had significant water damage from a attic mounted Air Conditioner. The came in assessed the damage a provided us with not only a estimate but walked us through the process. They worked diligently to get our home restored as quick as possible, despite the fact that the temperature in the house was over 100 degrees. Glad to have professionals of this caliber on our side in our time of need.

First off, a 1-star rating is too good for this company. Apex was referred to me by USAA for a water damage insurance claim that occurred in early December, and they just now finished. This was not a huge project - about 8 sheets of drywall and 2 doors, and I elected to paint, yet it still took nearly 4 months to complete. The drywall work was so bad that it took me an entire weekend to prepare it for paint. Debris was dumped in my trash can despite them billing for removal. I voiced my concerns with a quality manager, but heard nothing else after. Communication with Apex was frustratingly bad. Calls to project managers would go to voicemail and would not be returned. Weeks went by without updates despite my numerous calls and texts. I don't know how these guys are still in business, but I do plan on voicing my concerns with USAA to at least get them off their recommenced list so this never happens to another veteran.
