Spoke with Jay and he is the bomb!! Didn’t try to sell us stuff we didn’t need. Our pool had gotten mustard algae and we had sought help at another place ( initials J. P. ) and they sold us some chemicals we didn’t need and gave wrong advice. Jay at Anders was very professional and informative. Jay sold us exactly what we needed and our pool was back to beautiful in 24 hrs. ANDERS POOL IS THE BEST IN HUNTSVILLE

Anders Pool Company has helped us so much in keeping our pool in good shape! As new pool owners, we were in need of a lot of help on upkeep. Anders did that and more! We will certainly continue using this amazing company!

I have used them for the past year and a half and have had consistently small issues with them. Maybe it’s just my attention to detail, but those details are important to me. Like making sure the screws on my filter assembly on my pump are screwed down all the way so it’s not sucking in air, cross threading the drain on my sand filter and when I tell people at the store about it it takes them two weeks to finally replace it and fix it, when they opened up my pool for the first time this year and started the pump they opened up a access panel on the electric motor side and left it open and didn’t tell me about it leaving it accessible to rain and debris. Two weeks ago I had to replace my pump, just a coincidence. I don’t think so. Between all the details that they don’t pay attention to and the absolute horrible communication between the front Store staff, the staff that clean the pools and the general manager. I could no longer put up with their horrible service. They might be knowledgeable, but all they did was cost me more money.

We have used Anders Pool for several years to open our pool. It has typically cost between $350-$450. This year, we received a bill for $900 - no warning, no explanation, no reason for the massive increase. The bill lists chemicals Anders said it used in the pool but we have no way to knowing if this is correct. Other than 3 bottles of a chemicals left in our trash can, there is no reason to believe these chemicals were used in our pool. There was no schedule for when they would arrive, just show up, walk around and tell me they'd be back in a few days to check on the pool. When we went to the store to pay the bill, the worker agreed he'd be upset, too, if there was such a massive unexplained price hike. I understand prices have increased but the customer should be informed beforehand. We paid the bill but will not use Anders again and will advise others against using them as well.

Spectacular service and support. Jay was extremely helpful in getting me the parts I needed, and even anticipated additional parts I would not have known to purchase to replace my pump motor. Terrific service, I won't forget it. Thanks!

I’ve used Anders pool before and they did a great job. a little more costly than I had expected but a friend knew the owner, so I thought I would support them and use them again. (The bill was around $400. )
This year they showed up as they were supposed to, and did open the pool.
The pool water was green, but this wasn’t any different than any other time when the pool was opened.
They came back to brush and vacuum the pool, all as expected.
They returned again to inspect the pool and left saying that it needed to clear up a bit more.
I think they actually came out once again , but I’m not sure what they did and they didn’t speak to my wife to say anything was abnormal.
The bill was over $900.
All I can say is Wow!
Sticker shock. I feel like I’ve been taken advantage of.
I’m sorry, but I’ve got no option. There are other companies that can do this for less.
Perhaps I will just do it myself.
I was trying to support my friend’s friend. -
I cannot say enough wonderful things about this pool company. Night and day after dealing with another local company. Stephen in the office listened to my issues and sent someone out just as quickly as he could. Chase and Chris come weekly to take care of our pool and answer any questions I have. They are knowledgeable and share the information they have while offering suggestions. This is the company you want to do business with.

After seeking assistance from two other pool companies with no luck, we lucked upon these guys. Their extremely knowledgeable staff was able to clear up our pool from a pretty intense algae bloom in a week. We had been trying other recommendations for over two weeks prior. These guys know their stuff, and their prices are very reasonable!

We had Anders replace a multiport valve and rebuild the header on our community pool. Took five hours at $180/hr and $760 in supplies to complete. Part of that time was the tech driving to and from the shop to get supplies. The actual rebuild and installation took less than an hour. Everything else was travel time and unnecessary troubleshooting/rework of stuff that had already been done (like reinstalling our old pump just in case the new one had a problem). The valve was about right at $310, but the PVC, connectors, and glue were $450! I was told that "PVC is expensive" and "that's just what it costs now". Well, I can get 10 feet of 2" schedule 40 pvc for $22 at Lowe's. The total for supplies should have been about $100. I feel like I got taken for a ride. Won't be calling back unless we're desperate.

I've used Anders for several years. I've had 2 liners installed along with a safety cover over the years. They have done a great job every time. They work hard and are always there when they say they'll be there. Also their liners are cheaper than everyone else in town (price not quality). Both liners fit great!!

For my J-475 installation Tony and his crew were outstanding, their attention to detail and professionalism were excellent. Thank you. Also, Jim thank you for keeping us updated on the status of the order. Keep up the great work.

Love Anders. We have been using them for many many years. Have always taken care of all our pool and hot tub needs. Jim and Jay are always so friendly and so helpful each week we come in. We use them for everything from replacing liner to testing our water each week. Thanks for always being honest and fair and keeping our pool and spa sparkling and clean.

I've trusted them for years. Walk you through the process of maintaining a pool without trying to oversell.

The company, and the technician, were responsive and professional. This time of year, in the middle of summer and so hot, they were able to work our pool needs into the schedule within a few days. The technician was able to resolve the issues with our Hayward control panel within minutes, and 1/2 an hour later we were up and running! To say I am happy is an understatement. Thank you Anders, and THANK You to our pool man James Henderson for recommending Anders!

I bought my vinyl liner from Anders, and the service has been outstanding. I have found the service team to be responsive , knowledgeable and professional.

Tried to get them to honor some warranty work through Jandy (Fluidra). Jandy specifically noted that they are the company to do this work for the product in the area. They said they didn’t install the product so they won’t do it. Eventually they admitted they don’t get paid enough to do warranty work.

We’ve been using Anders for several years now and love them! Always responsive and fit us in quickly. They take their time with their work, and they are super helpful with everything. Highly recommend!!!

They are excellent for chemicals and pool samples. Not the best for actual work. My liner came out ok, lots of issues with communication though. When they replaced the light in the pool they left all the wiring exposed over a weekend of full rain. Blew the light and then argued it didn’t work before(it did I checked it before they ever even got to my house to start working) and “water must have gotten in the wiring.” So I’m out more for an electrician. Then when they replaced my steps the first time they left them half out of the pool and completely slanted. Wouldn’t be such an issue if the guy working did not constantly argue that whatever the issue is either they didn’t do it or it wasn’t their fault. I have security cameras ALL around my house. The guy swears they were they are “really long time” for the steps, under 15 minutes…cameras don’t lie.

Service was provided and the problem fixed within 24 hrs of my call. My pump/plumbing has had air leaks for years so suction was not great. Recently it got so bad that the pump lost prime altogether and might have fried the motor had I not caught it in time.
Justin diagnosed the problem and replaced a failed seal. Also replaced other aging seals and some PVC. Under 2 hours. I wish I had consulted the experts years ago. Pump is running like new -
I recently had Blue River Gutters work on my home, and I couldn't be more pleased with their service. Blue River Gutters is a local, family-owned business. Adam Bussey, owner, responded promptly to my inquiry, and after a thorough inspection, Adam took the time to clearly explain the problem areas with my existing gutters. He gave me several options for repairs and additional gutter installations to improve water drainage. Adam also replaced the rotten fascia boards, and both he and his son did a wonderful job. Their professionalism, attention to detail, and competitive pricing truly set them apart. I wouldn’t hesitate to call them again and highly recommend Blue River Gutters for anyone seeking quality gutter work. You can’t go wrong with Blue River Gutters!
