Our search for a reliable contractor ended the moment we contacted Radway Hardscapes and Landscapes. They were prompt, professional, and listened carefully to our requests. After they resolved our uneven patio pavers, we got to talking about different jobs they tackle. When we mentioned our desire for a pergola roof, they readily took on the challenge, guiding us through options and transforming our vision into reality. The metal roof installed adds durability to our existing structure and will prolong the life of it. The crew was efficient in transforming our pergola into a more comfortable backyard oasis. Radway Landscaping installed brick edging around my flower beds and they look great! Two neighbors stopped to find out who was doing the work since it looked so nice. They did the work promptly for a fair price and cleaned up the yard nicely when they were done. I’d gladly hire them for any future landscaping or hardscaping work.

We had a massive backyard renovation by Radway H&L. Miller and his team did a great job from start to finish. They installed a huge retaining wall, leveled the backyard, fixed some drainage issues, new landscape, enlarged our concrete pad and built a beautiful outdoor seating area with sitting wall, fire pit and pergola. They were efficient, on budget, and professional!

Miller and his team extended our patio, built a cedar pergola over it, poured another patio, built a fire pit on it, and made a flagstone walkway to connect the fire pit patio to the existing patio. The team was highly professional, punctual, and efficient. On top of that, they did a great job. Miller was great to work with.

Miller and his team did a great job with our butterfly garden and water feature, plus hardscaping in two other areas. He communicated often and stuck to the timeline. He is very focused on customer satisfaction and was flexible as our plans evolved. I highly recommend!

We’ve hired Radway 3 times in the last 5-ish years, and each time Miller and his crew have done a great job, making our property even more beautiful. In all, Radway LLC completed the following for us: removed shrubs, planted trees and installed 2 new natural rock surrounds, installed hardscape borders around existing flower beds, removed an existing concrete patio, built a new cedar pergola and new paver patio, built a new firepit and surrounding hardscape and walkway using concrete pavers and natural stone, built 2 elevated stands with natural stone to surround our existing rain barrels, built a new cedar arbor for elevating a small array of solar panels (and buried the electrical conduit for us), installed multiple french drain systems, and re-graded our entire backyard to fix existing drainage problems. As a bonus, Miller also built a ~ 3’ x 4’ area for our garbage cans using leftover pavers from our various jobs. Miller and his entire crew are amazing, hard workers with a “can-do” and positive attitude towards any changes we wanted to make during the course of events. Initially I found Radway on a list of about 7 potential contractors, all of whom I contacted but only a handful responded. For that first job, I interviewed and obtained pricing from 3 contractors, and Radway came in with a substantially lower price. Because he did such stellar work on that first job, we had him back to price the second job (backyard re-grading, cedar pergola, and patio replacement). Again, Radway undercut his direct competitors by a large amount. For the third job (including solar arbor, french drains/regrading, additional hardscaping and landscaping), we just hired Miller because we knew he would supply the best work at the least cost. The last thing I want to add to this review is that Miller and his entire crew are extremely trustworthy. On our last job in particular, we weren’t home during much of his/crew’s working hours, but I never had a cause to worry about the quality of work being completed. In our most recent and prior experience working with Radway, there’s no need for direct supervision by the customer, because with any questions that we had, he would always ensure that our questions were answered and any issue or change that we wanted was addressed the next day. In short, there are lots of outdoor-type contractors in the area of Huntsville and Madison County, but I would recommend Radway for your project. Miller Radway of Radway LLC has a solid history with us for doing outstanding work at a great price.

From the beginning meeting to discuss what we wanted; to the last day of clean up was one of the best experiences with a company we could have had. Miller took our little concrete pad of a patio and turned it into pavers and a wall bench with lights!!
We decided to make a change in the middle of the project. Miller handled that change with pure professionalism and grace!! He and his crew are very knowledgeable, and work very hard!! You will not be disappointed in using Radway! Miller is honest and so easy to work with you on what you want!! I think it would be hard to find a better company!!

Our housecleaning crews are always pleasant and efficient. They are great with our pets, very accommodating if plans have to be changed, and just delightful human being!
