The movers where very pleasant and had great attitudes. It was a BIG job and two very long days and I never heard one complaint. Hard to believe but they even worked faster as the day got longer. I was worn out long before they were.
I had the pleasure of interacting with the owner on more than one occasion. He was very professional, very fair, prices were very good and customer satisfaction was obviously very important to all of them. They were recommended to me by a previous customer and I strongly recommend Motivated Movers as well.

Motivated movers was recommended to me by a great friend and church member, and I'm glad he did. The move went smooth, with no issues, the guys Ced, and Devon was the best! Professional, and entertaining to add,😃 they did a great job came in and did their thing. Even when they were faced with a couple of obstacles, they made a way. The team did a great job! We had everything packed and wrapped when they arrived; they got to work quickly packing the truck and were done in no time! All of our items arrived in perfect condition; I would highly recommend this team.

Dalton and John were great! They moved me quickly and made sure they got everything that needed to be moved loaded on to the truck. At the new house, they made sure that put everything in the correct location in the house. I was quoted 6 hours and they got me moved in under 4 hours(including drive time)!

One item broke, but that was due to my poor packing honestly. All in all, I am glad I went with Motivated Movers!

The guys from Motivated Movers did a wonderful job. They were professional, careful with the furniture, and expeditious. Would definitely recommend!

Our move wasn’t terrible but I wouldn’t use Motivated Movers in Montgomery again. First off, we were supposed to have a different company move us but were informed when we called to verify 4 days before the move (that was scheduled months in advanced) that they couldn’t do it so Montgomery was taking over. Pros: each day the movers showed up, they were ready to hit the ground running and were fast. They were extremely nice, respectful, and professional. They didn’t damage our home. They took it upon themselves to box up things that we didn’t have big enough boxes for. We’re still unpacking but so far nothing is missing (will update if this changes). The movers were willing to accommodate requests. Price was reasonable. Paying was easy. Cons: They never called to confirm. The movers didn’t show up when we were told they would at both locations (the office never knew what the movers were doing, the only correct information we got was directly from the movers - this was stressful because at first we didn’t even know if they’d show up). They didn’t wrap everything. One mover wreaked of smoke (we were concerned the smell would get in our things but it didn’t). Our boxes and our stuff have some minor damage.

Rico, Ric and Antonio did a great job!! They were super attentive and treated our things as if they were their own. Would highly recommend y’all to anyone!

I hired Motivated Movers and was assigned Dalton, Demetrius, & Teshawn. They were fast and accurate. Handled my items with care and made sure all of my stuff fit inside my storage. Will definitely be using them on my next move.

Please seek a different moving service. The movers are dishonest and cannot be trusted. On November 19, 2019, two of the movers stole over $800 worth of shoes from my storage unit during the move. I did not discover the issue until I booked the service again and the movers discovered empty boxes. I tipped and provided food and water to the movers and was still left with the treatment of stolen products from my storage unit. The area manager, Barry, was contacted and he basically told me that it sounded like a personal problem. The employees are not screened and are basically hired by word of mouth. DO NOT trust the company or movers. The movers all complain about Barry and how he sends them out to do all of his dirty work. Barry is very unprofessional and rude. I have proof of all allegations and a documented conversation. I have text messages from the movers that indicates that one of the movers stole the other movers’ tip (that I provided) that was intended to be shared with the entire crew. When I asked him about it, he stated that he didn’t know why he didn’t share the tip. I tried to make contact with Ben at the headquarters and I have yet to receive a return call back from Ben. They do not take responsibility for their employees. Again, I highly recommend that you DO NOT USE this company. They will respond with a miscellaneous reason for this review, but I have plain evidence. If you are told that the following movers (Austin T., Dyllan S., and Dakota T.) will be visiting your home, do not allow them to provide the service or enter your home or storage unit. My experience has been HORRIBLE with this company. I have further messages and photos of the services rendered. DO NOT USE this company!

0/5 stars - Avoid this moving company. We booked them for a move for May 31st, but they called 10 days prior to move day to change the date due to losing a driver. I was moving from Florida to Alabama, rented a U-Haul with some of my belongings and they were going to move belongings from my storage unit in Alabama, along with the U-Haul I had, into my new residence.
After some back-and-forth, they agreed to move me on May 25th between 8-9:30 am.
However, they never showed up to my storage unit or called to confirm their arrival. We waited 4 hours & tried calling multiple times, leaving voicemails. We were left to
scramble and find alternative help. Thankfully, my son drove from FL to help and I had some family members that were able to help move my belongings that we had brought in the U-Haul. Unfortunately, we couldn't even move items from my storage unit as planned. It was after 8pm that I was moved in, with just the bare minimum.
Poor communication and unreliable service, which created a very stressful & overwhelming situation. Would not recommend Motivated Movers.

The movers that came to load the u haul for us did a great job. They came in and got to work right away and had it loaded in about an hour. They made sure everything was secure for the 3 hour trip we were going on. They were very professional. We were very happy with their work. Thank you Motivated Movers!

They did a great job. Three nice young men showed up Devon, Dalton and Darius. They were very polite and professional. They took charge and loaded in 2.5 hours, unloaded in 1 hours. They had ask the right supplies and equipment. And I’m so glad these moving trucks come with a platform lift on the back! The plastic wrap your cabinets and dressers so the doors/drawers don’t come open too. And they stay focused! A friend recommended them and I would highly recommend them too, thank you guys!

Our moving experience with Motivated Movers was exceptional. The team of four men expertly prepped our valuables for an out of town move — including mirrors, antique furnishings, and several pieces of glass tops. They handled moving our grand piano with no problems whatsoever. They arrived each step of the process in the window they set with us. They also were willing to bump up delivery on two full trucks by one day to help us avoid a bad weather situation. The men on the team were very courteous to my wife and helped her get all the pieces placed in our new home where she requested. Truly an exceptional job by some exceptional and experienced men. I would highly recommend this company - and in particular this moving crew - to anyone.

I have used Motivated Movers approximately 7 times. 5 times for my 3 outpatient facilities and twice for my home & apartment moves in the last 11 months. Each time I’ve had a different crew. Initially we had the owner, who assisted with a AL state surplus move. Based on his professionalism, I hired his company repeatedly during each of my expansions.

Today, I completed two separate moves. The team was and is always professional. However, today, the team was very knowledgeable, quick & efficient, and completed both moves at an affordable price. I am very satisfied with their service and look forward to using them again in the near future. My furniture and equipment is extremely heavy and they carried it down 3 flight of stairs. Today, my team was Stinson, Nick, and Kem ( I think). They also arrive on time and worked the entire time without a break to complete the job as quickly as possible. There were no hidden or excessive fees, upfront prices and I always receive receipts with a detail explanation of each charge.

Great Service! James scheduled the move and gave the quote quickly and professionally. The Movers showed up on time and loaded and unloaded quickly! They were all very polite, easy to work with and took direction well. They took great care of our things and had all the moving equipment needed. I would definitely recommend them!

My move was on Thursday June 29, 2022 . At first I thought everything was going to go smooth they call to inform me they were in route , and they got the in a timely manner. When they first walked in they were very professional by introducing themselves asking for a walk through of the items they had to take away. Then the problems came they didn’t have the proper tools to remove my bedding furniture at this point I am thinking my time has started. They had a male that was new to the team that sat down majority of the whole move. They started at 8am we didn’t leave the first location until after 10am sadly to say it was only a two bedroom apartment and the only thing that they had to move was two bedrooms sets and a living room furniture. I did applaud them because I did stay on the third floor but it shouldn’t have took third men that long. The leader talked horrible about the manager saying how ungrateful he was and how he was blaming him for everything . I am so upset because my newly furniture is damaged in multiple areas and all the manager could say was how they know that the damage to the bottom wasn’t already there sir this is why I hired a moving company because my furniture is worth money and I wanted it professionally moved, half of my furniture was not even properly wrapped. I only commend the short black guy he is the only one I feel valued me as a customer think his name was Detrall . I will never use this company again. I am still waiting to hear from Corperate but yet has anyone returned my call .

The movers were fantastic! If you are planning to move anytime soon. I highly recommend motivated movers. The whole process was stress free and very professional from start to finish.

I am prior military and have used MULTIPLE moving companies. This is by far one of the worst moving companies I have ever used. The FIRST issue is that we booked the company 11 days prior to them coming out for 3 MOTIVATED movers who would also pack the entire house for us. When they arrived there were only 2 movers and they did not come with any supplies in the truck even though the invoice noted to "Bring Supplies". They told me the 3rd mover was on the way. Well the 3rd mover never showed up due to having issues with the truck and then the manager sent him home and not to the apartment to help pack even though we were promised 3 motivated movers. These movers to begin with were NOT MOTIVATED at all. There was one new guy there packing the apartment and he didn't know what to do and the second guy was basically packing the entire apartment by himself. The SECOND issue is that it took EIGHT HOURS to pack the two bedroom two bath apartment. My husband and I moved into that apartment 3 months ago and never fully unpacked to begin with. So why it took so long is unbelievable. Here is the THIRD issue, Well along with it taking 8 hours, they left the apartment with STUFF IN EVERY ROOM. My husband and I agreed that its almost worth it to hire NEW MOVERS to move the rest of the stuff in the house. That should give you a good description of how much stuff is remaining. The FOURTH issue, was once they packed the items in the truck and finally brought it to the house. Nothing was truly wrapped or packed properly. Our furniture is damaged because of the move and when you open the boxes everything was thrown in them without a care. Glass wasn't wrapped properly, silverware was tossed in the boxes and not placed in anything to contain them, we have family HEIRLOOMS that were thrown around even though we specifically stated to be careful with it. Those boxes were a mess. The FIFTH issue was when we got to the new house and the manager FINALLY sent two extras to come and unpack the items. The issue with this was they actually made things WORSE vs better. The one kid who apparently had been at the company the longest was KNOCKING OUR FURNITURE into the walls and actually but a dent/ding in one of them. Not only that, but he was making a mess out of the pricing. I swear just getting the cost of the move took an hour on its own as there was so much back and forth about what our cost was going to be and what needed to be deducted and what needed to be added to the cost of the move. I cant even understand the handwritten invoice that was given to me by that kid. All I know is that I PAID WAY TOO MUCH and WANT A REFUND for such a horrendous and almost horror story like moving company.

The movers were very polite and professional. They were organized and respectful of my items. The movers worked quickly as well. I will recommend this company to anyone who is moving.

First let me say that this was my 2nd time using Motivated Movers. I first used them last year for my move & they did an exceptional job. They were on time, friendly & efficient. Also my belongings were well taken care of. This is why I opted to use them again this year for my move into my first home purchase. I will say that they were on time & friendly. However, my belongings were damaged & I believe that was due to the lack of care when loading it. I observed the guys drop a few of my belongings & NONE of my furniture was wrapped like they did the first time. My dresser drawers were sliding out as they moved the pieces from the house to the truck & as a result, my table, chair & TV were damaged. The part that upset me the most was that I called the following Monday to file a complaint & swe what could be done. I asked to speak with a manager & James stated that he was the sales manager. I explained to him everything that I stated above & I received no empathy whatsoever. He asked me to send pictures of the damage to the TV & that they would repair it. I text the photos to the number he provided that same day. That was a weekend ago & I haven't heard anything since. I'm all about accountability. I know people are human & in no way do I want the guys who assisted me that day to lose their jobs or anything. But this should be a lesson to the company to always take special care & wrap/protect customers furnishings. At $650 for a move, I don't have the money to be trying to get a TV repaired.
