Constraction reviews in Pelham, Alabama

We just had Total Power Electric install an EV charger, a generator inlet, and a whole home surge protector. Communication was wonderful, both when setting up the appoint ment and when the work was being done. The turnaround time from the initial request to the completion of work also far exceeded our expectations.
Mr. Pittman and his team are incredibly informative and customer-centered, and back it up with quality, warrantied work. Everything was cleanly installed and thoroughly tested. We will definitely be repeat customers. We are 100% satisfied.

We have used Thaxter x2. He does a great job, fair price and gets the job done.

I can't imagine a better experience than what I got from Thaxter at Total Power Electric. Professional, hard-working, fair price, and a great end result. I'll definitely be calling again next time I have an electrical need.

Thaxter is the best!! It only took him less than 10 minutes to fix my light in my dining room. Great professionalism!! I will always call on him for my electrical needs.

Total Power Electric came out and handled an issue in a quick and efficient manner. Thaxter Pittman was very professional and showed us the root cause of our issue. Very reliable and will do business again. You should call Total Power Electric for all of your electrical needs!

I called seven different electric companies while trying to get prices to install my daughter’s upstairs and down stairs bathroom exhaust fans. Each company had a fee to actually come to see the job which was not included if the job was obtained.I then began to pray asking God to send someone who could help.So the next day as I drove, a van pulled next to me which said Total Power and I grabbed my phone to record the number and the van got away from me.I then caught him at the light and took a picture.I called and spoke with Mr. Thaxter who gave me a date for the inspection. His worker showed up bright and early and inspected the bathrooms, attic and eve of the house. The day of the actual appointment, Mr Thaxter and his worker showed up bright and early again, ready to get started. They were extremely respectful and professional. I’ve not seen that in a while because businesses are not taking there professionalism serious. I’m assuming that these other companies feel that they don’t have to be professional because they’re already making the money they want they don’t have to go the extra mile. Total Power name says it all… from God above. And that’s his mannerism.

Their prices were very reasonable and their work was done with great quality. They cleaned up after themselves and had great conversation while they did their job. I am already trying to see what else I could get done by them. I would highly recommend their services! Thank you.

Thaxter at Total Power Electric did an outstanding job helping me get settled into my new home! He installed my EV charger seamlessly and added new outlets to create a clean, organized look for my space. He also mounted my TVs with precision, making everything look perfect. Professional, efficient, and detail-oriented—I highly recommend Thaxter for any electrical work!

We were having issues with certain outlets and lights not working after a power outage. Thaxter was able to fit us in right away. He found the root of the problem and quickly fixed the issue. He is extremely knowledgeable and professional! Thank you for your help! Would highly recommend him for future electric issues!

We contacted Total Power for a quote to install an electrical outlet & conduit over our fireplace so we could have a tv mounted. Mr. Pittman was punctual for our appointment, and did the work the same day. (Which we were not expecting the work to be done the same day the quote was given.)

Someone came out before Total Power to give us a quote and told us they could not do the job the way we wanted because he didn’t have access (there is a bedroom above the living room where the fireplace is) to install the outlet. The previous contractor told us he would have to cut the wall/sheet rock and it would not be seamless and clean. And would require us to later putty/sand/paint. (More work for us.)

When we told Mr. Pittman what we wanted and he found a way to do the work and was able to install the electrical outlet and conduit thru attic access without cutting the wall (which the previous contractor said could not be done). We are very pleased with his work and very happy he took the time and effort to give us what we wanted.

He also conducted a safety inspection of our home and found that several outlets were not up to code and made the upgrades needed to ensure our family is safe.

Mr. Pittman was very professional, knowledgeable and experienced which is reflected thru the quality of work he did. We highly recommend Total Power and will be calling Mr. Pittman again for our next electrical projects.

WOW The company was very professional. Mr. Pittman explained everything that need to happen. His worker was very knowledgeable. It didn't take long for them to finish the job. I would highly recommend his services any day😍

Thaxter and his team did an amazing job! We needed help with 3 small projects in multiple rooms. The review and quote process was straightforward. The work was scheduled quickly and the quality of the final product was great. Thankful for the clear communication, reasonable prices, professionalism, and quick turnaround.

Would recommend this electrician to any of my friends. He does good work and will review the job and quote you a price to make sure you’re satisfied.

Thaxter kept me informed on his timeline and arrived at my home on time. He was very professional and connected my EV charger with ease. The price he charged to complete my request was very fair and reasonable. He cleaned up any debris and left my home neat and clean. I will recommend Total Power Electric to all my friends and family. That is something I hardly ever do. I am VERY satisfied with the service I was provided.

Thaxter was prompt and very professional. We are pleased with the work and pricing. We will recommend Total Power Electric to others.

There are at least 2 people not in your family that are critically important to your family - your mechanic and your electrician. I think safety of loved ones is pretty universal - we all understand how important it is. Total Power Electric provides that peace of mind that where you sleep at night is safe from electrical faults and the tragedies that can occur because of them. Thaxter Pittman and his team are top notch professionals: prompt, diligent, hard working, technical experts that are completely trustworthy.

I recently bought a house with about 2 dozen critical, out-of-Code electrical issues. After the general inspector initially noticed several, I hired Total Power Electric to correct them and they found many more. Thaxter walked me through every issue and explained the appropriate solution to each one. After the job was done he walked me through again and showed me the fixes. All the work was crisp, clean, and flawless. The team cleaned up after themselves and hustled to get the job done. I still have lots of worries but where my family sleeps at night is not one of them. Don't leave the safety of your family to chance - hire Total Power Electric.
