So far so good , turned up on time quickly finished the job and they were very respectful of our property

Wish I could give zero stars! I paid for 6 months service after having dead spots in my yard. First visit, everything could be done to fix the problem. After a few months, I have had multiple sales people calling wanting me to purchase another contract to “spray fungus area on bushes.” I asked for a soil sample to be done because it was not done on the first visit. It has now been 3 1/2 months and after hanging on the phone for the service dept to read through notes, they can’t find a report. The latest report is that my grass has “heat stress.” We live in Mobile, Al with 90 degree weather. It rains at least every other day. Don’t waste your money with these sales people!

THEY ARE SUCKING THE MONEY OUT OF US.

If I could put half of a star I would, I have used them for two years thinking I wouldn't have any issues with my yard but I watched them on surveillance cameras and when i was home.

They have sent out technicians to my house that have no idea or knowledge of what they are doing or what needs to be done or what problems to look for in any yard.

It seams like they send out a different technician every time they come out and they don't know where to spray or what problems to look for after they spray your yard.

They have added chemicals to my yard maintenance plan without asking me first and then charged me for it.

I don't like the idea of a company that make up problems so they can have you pay for things you don't need.

For example they saying that I have a bug problem and they needed to treat it so they tried to put out a bug glandular but luckily I was home to stoped them.

Better to do it yourself.

Very happy thus far with the service. Very hard to keep 46 thousand square feet of grass looking green and weed free.

Lawn Specialist was Polite and efficient explaining the Lawn Service he was about to do and how it would effect my Lawn over the next 21 days. .
High marks and highly recommend

They literally have called me 3 times today and 1 other day this week. I have asked so nicely to please stop calling me, to please remove my number and they will not stop calling me. 3 times in same day is harassment. You will regret ever trying them out even once, they will never respect your privacy ever again.

We paid upfront- about $800. They only came out twice and from then on kept canceling visits. They will happily take your money, but will not show up to do the work. We are done. Looking for another company that will not rip you off. In other words, do not use TruGreen- they will rob you blind.

Yes, I would recommend TruGreen to anyone me and my SVC tech actually walk around and point out yard problems to take care of hopefully my problems will continue to go away.

We have just started using TruGreen and so far are very satisfied with their services. I like that you don't have to wait around for them and a detailed service note is left for you each time they come. They show up when they are supposed to and I appreciate any suggestions for improving the lawn. It has already started to look a lot better and they offer an array of services.

New to TruGreen but so far they are very professional and knowledgeable and I feel confident in having a greener lawn for grandchildren to enjoy. Thanks to Conner and Genry and crew treating our properties

Great breakdown and explanation of services offered and assessment performed. This was the first assessed treatment, so will update once application or numerous applications effect can be determined.

Update 4/26/2024: The lawn looks terrible still even after applying weed and feed again. 2nd picture posted. Still extremely disappointed. I paid TruGreen to help my lawn but they instead killed it.

I have been a customer of TruGreen for about one year. I thought it would be easier on me to pay a professional to take care of the herbicide/insecticide portion of lawn care but boy was I wrong. I literally paid a company to kill all of my grass. Just about the only green you see in my lawn is weeds. There are clumps of dirt everywhere, which indicate active insect presence under the soil.
They have undone any progress that I have made during the 5 years I've owned this property. They have done nothing to make it right. They offered to provide free aeration, overseeding, and fertilization, but that was well over a month ago now and have not made good on their word to do anything. I've asked for a refund but of course they are ignoring this request.

About 2 springs ago we got all new sod. After a while I called TruGreen to tackle the weeds that started popping up. It had been a nightmare since. Years ago, we used TruGreen and our yard looked like a park. This time, however, a completely different experience.

I’m completely blown away by their lack of attentiveness. Even after I cancelled altogether, the manager calls and says, “what can we do for you?”. WHAT? I’ll let the photo speak for itself.

If I were you TruGreen, I’d be finding out what the techs know, train them to pay attention to the grass, get your area managers to take an interest in their accounts and GO LOOK AT THEM!

I have been a customer of TruGreen for about 2 years now and for the most part, they have done a good job. Last year I had a service tech get mad when I asked him if he sprayed the back yard. No big deal. This year has not gone well and I have canceled service. Based on the way my lawn looks, it’s like they have been charging me to come out and spray a little water. The grass on the side of the road looks better than my lawn. They also do not have a local number and want you to go through email or call a 800 number. So I’m done with them. Good riddance.

I wish they would let you leave zero stars the pictures below are what to expect from tru green from a perfect yard to a mud pit of dirt and weeds. If you do not enjoy outdoor activities, and don’t want a lush green lawn hire tru green otherwise stay away.

I have utilized trugreen of mobile lawn and tree service for approximately 2 years. Overall satisfaction was 3 stars until the last 9 months. Over the last 9 mos I have had to treat weeds on my own, replace shrubs due to mites, and repair my entire yard due to over fertilization(burns where spreader leaked). All the above issues (weeds, mites, troubled lawn)were to be prevented by my subscription with TruGreen, absolutely not the case. To be honest, customer service seemed sympathetic to my issues and insisted they would contact management and have someone get in touch with us within 24-48 hours. NEVER THE CASE. Management has no concern for customer other than attempting to sell more products. Lawn burn, not fixed! Dead shrubs, not replaced( did get a free additional treatment of shrubs though:(
I have had enough of TruGreens lack of concern over the inferior product and unwillingness to fix problems. I am done with this company and recommend all to stay away. I am now searching for a reputable company that cares about the product they deliver.

Very poor service and unprofessional handling.

I tried repeatedly to cancel a scheduled service using the number provided, only to find out later it was a former employee’s personal phone. Despite my attempts, TruGreen still came out, sprayed over leaves (which is ineffective), and charged me anyway with no honest assessment of whether the treatment made sense.

When I called to cancel, I also asked to be placed on the Do Not Call list and was told canceled customers are put on a leads list for cold calls.

I’m going back to a local lawn care company that’s easier to reach and actually evaluates the yard before charging. Buyers beware!

So far the only positive experience I have had is meeting LADARRIS TOOMER. A fine young man who is a great representative for your company. It is winter as you are aware now. Once spring arrives I expect to see a golf course lawn as promoted by your company.
The only feedback I can offer at this time is your service technician is awesome. Please pass my appreciation to him.

This company is the worst example of how to run a business.

1. Overcharged from my agreement.
2. Poor communication.
3. Technicians don't have a clear description of the requested service.

I wanted to come back and post pictures of my lawn after two treatments! They have killed my grass, yes I had some clover but all of the dead spots had grass last season and before the treatments.
4. Sprayed an hour before a heavy rain and told me it helps the process.
5. No local office.

Stay away.

Mathew was on time. Did a great job. He always communicated well. Highly recommend
