Very happy with the service. They got right to work and step by step problem solved why my leach field wasn't working properly. Years of buildup was the cause and they got it taken care of with no major repairs needed. Absolutely will call again when needed!

Scott was very informative and gave me great tips. He was professional, fast, and very respectful! Cost was very reasonable for a last minute job!! I am thankful for the referral to them.

Where do I start? On Thursday the 30th I called Alaska Sewer and Drain for a washing machine drain clean out. Knowing that I was asking for a possible same day service I was open to a flexible timeframe. I was told that I was on the schedule at 9 and said I would be home all day to provide access And that I would receive a call 30 minutes before the tech showed. At 1:30 I called and just verified I was still on the list. Then at 5:30 I called and didn’t get anyone on the phone. I headed back to work Friday and got a call saying the tech was on his way over at 10 am …well I said I was at work and couldn’t get away. And said I was extremely disappointed that I didn’t even get a call or text saying they wouldn’t be there the day before. I then received a phone call from the dispatcher and she apologized and said Monday was open. I said ok, and she offered a 10% discount for the inconvenience. I said ok. Sunday I received a text message confirming my appointment for the 2nd on Monday and that I would receive a phone call between 8am and 5pm saying the tech was on the way. FOR THE SECOND TIME I GOT STOOD UP BY THIS COMPANY! I tried calling the number in the text 4 times and didn’t get to talk to anyone. Needless to say another company will receive my business and will not recommend you to anyone.

On a holiday weekend we found ourselves with major plumbing issues. I called many 24 hour locations and AK Sewer and Drain answer on the first call, took my info, followed up with a text confirming appointment with a picture of the repairmen (super helpful and reassuring!) and Scott showed up within the hour to help us. It was a multi day repair situation and Scott was on time, professional, and helped troubleshoot the issues. I was incredibly impressive with Scott and AK Sewer and Drain. Highly recommend if you are in need of a plumber.

Alaska Sewer and Drain was great. We had a plumbing emergency over the weekend with flooding and leaking pipes.
They had a plumber available in less than 30 minutes. Weekend emergency rates were reasonable for the convenience they provided. We spoke with Maddy on the phone who was great. Jacob was our plumber and he was amazing. Professional and knowledgeable. He had our pipes cleared and sealed up in less than an hour. He provided us with advice and explained the issue clearly. I also loved that they sent me a text a head of time with his picture and a time frame for his arrival. He was dressed in a professional looking uniform that identified him clearly.
I would highly recommend.

The whole team I dealt with at Alaska sewer and drain was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The service technician explained the process to me and gave me some tips on how to keep the situation from happening again. They were very Speedy with the service and came out same day. The sink in the downstairs bathroom was clogged with a mess. I called my regular plumber and they suggested Alaska Sewer and Drain. I called and got a response with an appt time. I was very pleased with how the whole thing went down. Scott was very nice and very thorough in his explanation of what he did and what he found. I would recommend this company to anyone.

Chase was very professional and polite. He listened to us and didn’t think it was a line problem but more of a gunk build up and after snacking it was better! He saved us some money by not using the camera! We will use Alaska Sewer and Drain in the future!!

Short Version: Chase diagnosed AND fixed the issues with our plumbing and septic system when others couldn't.

Long Version: Chase is a rockstar that doesn't give up. When our septic lift pump blew the breaker and septic tank overflowed we had another company replace the pump. They fixed the pump but never tested it. The pump wasn't pumping and the company couldn't help further.

Chase had more tools, better tools, and better technology than the first company. He wirelessly traced our underground plumbing from the house to the septic tank and gave me the exact spot to find the underground clean out, which itself was priceless. From that clean out he was able to jet through a blockage the others didn't even know was there.
As an added bonus, he was also able to jet through another frozen line that involved several 90 degree turns the other company couldn't get their jet past.

100% recommend!!!

I’m a long time customer and they always do superior work! They were flexible to my schedule and Scott was quick but thorough when performing the work. I highly recommend any home buyer to have their lines inspected before purchase. I'm really confident it would have discovered this as a potential issue.
(Honestly, it should be included in any home inspection prior to purchase.)

Heads up: Alaska Plumbing & Drain charges $870 per hour for Saturday service. That’s right, $870 per hour! Arctic Drain charged $262 per hour for Saturday service and did a great job. Talk about a local company fleecing its customers apparently because it thinks it can…. Sad!

Keenan did a great job and it didn't take more than 20 minutes. I paid 220$ for the allotted hour. I appreciate how easy and responsive Alaska Sewer and Drain was.

Alaska Sewer & Drain was highly recommended but even with that you never know how the work will turn out. Well it exceeded my expectations. Brandon came out within a day of my call and not only fixed the blockage in my drain but took the time left (in the hour of work covered by the dispatch fee) to show me exactly what tools I would need and how to avoid or fix this problem in the future. He was kind, informative, and non-judgmental about my lack of knowledge, a refreshing change from past experiences I’ve had. I could not recommend them enough.
