    Very inexperienced.
Wintergreen was our mowing service, we thought we would give them a chance to fix our retaining wall. What a horrible experience! The owner, Chris, was unable to do the job, he was in over his head. he sent two young people who had not been trained to do the job.
The job was a disaster and it was the worst experience we have ever had. We tried to add money to the original fee to fix his bad work but he still came up short.
When we pointed out his short coming he used foul language and made false accusations that where hard to tolerate.
Chris is a lawn and plow guy but construction is not what you would want from him.
His hand, Brian, however, is a good man.

Hired for grading my back yard and filling in a gulley area. The quoting process was good. The scheduling process was a bit tough due to a busy season. They showed up earlier than they said they would on the day of digging, they did the job they said they would. Chris was on site first thing in the AM to line out the crew and answer any questions, the crew was friendly and professional and finished by 5pm that day, I think. We have two dogs that require either my husband or I to be home if we have any house or yard work done - it was fine. I wouldn't hesitate to request their services again.

We initially contacted this gentleman to do a yard clean up and then weekly service. He told us he would drive by the yard, take a look, and give us a quote for the cleanup. He gave us a quote of 295 for an initial clean up and 70 for weekly service. We got a glorified crop circle in the back yard. We called and complained and he did send his guys out again and they did mow a little more the second time. No weeding no raking nothing. We were going to just do the work ourselves ( eat the 295)and be happy with weekly service, but they never returned. No calls. No explanations. I have NEVER done any bad reviews, this is my first one.. I DO NOT RECOMEND. I wish I could post the pic of my crop circle, but I think you know what those look like!

UPDATE 2021: Another great plow season well under way, and we're still happy with the results and customer service. They are prompt at communicating and do a nice job making the place look nice!!

Chris plowed out around our hangar, airplanes, and tie downs and did a great job. He had the whole place cleared out before we got in to work when it snowed overnight and it looked fantastic. Chris is very nice and professional and his prices for plowing are reasonable.

I had them remove the snow off my roof this winter. They were quite expensive, but if the get it done quickly and do a good job, fine. I am a disabled vet so I cannot do it myself. Now that I can get on my roof with the snow melted, I see that they smashed the crap out of my roof cap, causing damage that is causing leaks, and ripped several shingles. My teenage boys did better work for less when they were here years prior...

They are very affordable and do an awesome job plowing. But I had a service done and talked with the owner whom I set up regular service with. I sent my email as instructed via text. I was never called when snow came. The blizzard came and I called to set up a plow. The owner was gruff with me and said they were not taking on any more clients. I explained to him we set up a month ago and he snapped at me about my own plow truck. Which isn't working. He refused service and left me snow stranded.

We absolutely LOVE the services provided by Wintergreen LLC. I would recommend their services to anyone looking to make their backyard space beautiful.

The entire process was easy to work through and the finished product is unbelievable. Being that my husband and I are on opposite work schedules, Wintergreen LLC remained responsive to each of us and coordinated times that would suit both schedules. The price for the services offered were reasonable, considering they landscaped my entire backyard and part of the front rock bed.

Wintergreen was hired by my HOA to street sweep after breakup. They did a great job except for damaging personal property and not taking responsibility. The night before Wintergreen used there sweeper on my road we had just brought home a new car from the dealership. Directly across from my driveway is a gravel lot their machine turned around in while the sweeper was engaged. Our new car was peppered with rocks causing dents, chips, and a broken windshield. Chris, the owner, refused to take responsibility and would only say "well this has never happened in twenty years," and insisted we caused the damage on the way home from the dealership.

Let me do you a favor, I'd be very cautious using this company for any landscaping jobs. This was one of my worst experiences dealing with a contractor. They have a 3 3 star rating because they earned it! They underproduced and overcharged for a retaining wall removal and brick wall installation. My first warning was when they started excavation without the 811 utility lines marked. Their website guaranteed customer satisfaction and attention to detail; I got neither. The crew and crew chief could not answer any questions, I had had to go through the owner. They shorted me about 18 feet of brick that were in the estimate and then they left the site with bricks. When I asked about it, I was told they overestimated, yet were able to charge me $100 for three bricks to complete the wall. They did not snap a line, so the wall is a little wonky (crooked). I lost all confidence in their ability to complete the job and asked to just pay the invoice they sent, and they agreed. I paid it and then they sent additional charges. Also, charges for services not rendered, I could go on. As an Air Force veteran, I expect corporations to follow the core values they advertise. In this case they put the company ahead of the customer, underperformed (poor attention to detail), and integrity, well let's say it wasn't first. They may be ok with mowing and plowing, but I would not recommend this company for landscaping.

Chris with Wintergreen was responsive when I called, stopped by to survey the job and provided a very competitive quote. He patiently waited as I received other quotes. Thanks to his professionalism, good advice and fair price, and although he was booked out quite some time (I know he has lots of loyal customers), I accepted his quote and he got me on the fall schedule. In the weeks leading up to the work being completed, I noticed utility workers stopping by to mark locations of the water, telecom, electric and gas. The work was just completed. I am very happy with how everything turned out and everything was completed as promised. Actually the final invoice amount ended up being less than quoted! Thank you Chris and the team at Wintergreen!

We have had many services performed by Wintergreen. The owner always either answers our calls or calls back promptly. KOODOOS for taking care of us. Over the last decade, Wintergreen has always been of great service especially when we really needed them. Whether you need gravel on your driveway, landscaping work, clean up of fallen trees, or snow removal, we highly recommend Wintergreen. They are on our A List and always get some of our homemade Crab Apple Jelly for being so wonderful. Thank you.

I've had issues every winter for years with my garage door freezing shut after pulling my car in during the winter. The ice/snow on my car would thaw in my heated garage and run down to the door where it would refreeze. This also caused the concrete to break up under the door. Ben and his crew installed a trench drain inside the garage that catches the water before it gets to the door so the door won't freeze shut. A catch basin and sump pump sends the water outside. Previous contractors wanted to replace my garage floor and add a drain that would empty into my septic tank. Their solution would create a lot of work for me to empty my garage, and loss of the use of my garage for at least a couple of weeks - probably more due to removal of the old concrete, running the drain to my septic system, pouring the new floor, and allowing it time to cure. Then I would need to move all my stuff back into the garage. This would create an unnecessary and very large expense. The trench drain was a far more time (two days plus another day to cure the concrete) and cost effective (less than a third of previous estimates) solution. I also didn't have to remove all my stuff from the garage, just the stuff near the door where they had to work. I will use PGC's services again.

I'm super lucky to have Precision General Contractors as the installer of my hydronic heating systems. No problems so far with 1 year of usage. I hadn't experienced any leaks and unstable heat temperature through out the house. I appreciate the quality work you gave!!!
