Thank you Rock landscaping for all your help on our playground!!! This company supported our non profit childcare center with the landscaping for our playground! Russ the owner donated material and labor to complete our project. They cleared out the playground area of all unwanted material and hauled it off. They supplied us with all the sand for our sand boxes. They leveled the whole playground area with the excavator and spread fill so the kids have a nice safe area to run around! We are so pleased and thankful. We would definitely use them again and recommend them!!

Austin and his crew exceeded my expectations the entire time! They responded quickly to my initial call, wrote a thorough and fair quote, began the project ahead of schedule, worked continuously (without interruptions or delays), adapted easily to changes and add-ons, and were an absolute pleasure to have on site.

We were originally scheduled for July for rebuilding a rock retaining wall that had failed. They were working in the area so started our project. They were here and finished within a couple days. Very professional, courteous and hard working. The new wall looks amazing!

These guys did a fabulous job on our rock retaining walls--the walls look amazing! Competitive pricing, easy to work with, and very hard working--showed up at 7:30am and left around 7pm everyday until the job was done. You won't regret hiring these guys for your rock work.

Russ and his crew were very professional and provided high quality work. My very large wall (170 ft. long and 21 ft. high in places) actually came out larger than they bid, but they completed the project for the original price quoted. The best compliment I can provide came in a text from a neighbor. He said my project was the topic of discussion in the neighborhood and all agreed it was beautiful.

I had a beautiful black chain link fence built, by this company. The gate latches are very heavy duty and expensive looking, however very hard to use. They built a covered dog run attached to the house which was unuseable when winter came. It twisted so badly the door popped open, the supports lifted and caused the sloped roof to run water back onto the house and siding. When I asked the owner to look at it this summer, he agreed I had a legitimate complaint. I heard him tell his worker on the phone that “from now on” they would build better and deeper supports when attached to the house. (Additionally, 2 builders have since stated the roof support beam should not have been a 4x4, but a 4x6.) The only fix the owner offered was to cut the outside supports to lower the roof so it would not run water against the house. I asked him to dig out the supports and use better support. His immediate response was to tell me to sue him and that he would win, because “he knew from experience.” One of the supports was dug out by a friend to see the cement support is less then 18” deep and looks rather like a snow cone. The cement beam support should have been shaped with a wider bottom and narrower top to help prevent the lifting. I’m saddened that someone I trusted to do a great job, has refused to fix this properly, even after I asked him to fix it at my expense.

Rock landscaping did a beautiful job transforming our lakeside point and yard. Chris was super accommodating as foreman, and Fernando, the main rock artist and creator of our walls and paths and stairs did a fantastic job and we are completely satisfied and overwhelmingly pleased. Russ is fair, and has Godly beliefs and integrity. we highly reccomend Rock Landscaping.

Great experience with Rock Landscaping. Russ gave me a fair bid and always kept me informed of plans and any changes of plans. Boyd and Austin were professional and friendly as well as making heavy machines do precision work. I recommend them wholeheartedly!

We had rock landscaping install two rock walls, a patio, stone steps, a fire pit, and hydroseed a new lawn. The work turned out fantastic! The crew was hardworking, always easy to talk to, and cleaned up every day! The project was large but they kept it moving to finish in a timely manner. I would recommend them to others!

Once we decided to do our rock wall project, we knew we wanted Russ and his crew to do it. Russ had some suggestions for us and as it turned out he was right. They have the expertise to do all types of rock work and gave us not only beautiful retaining walls for peace of mind, but also a challenging 21-step stone staircase, and beautiful stone pathway. Russ Enz, the owner, gave me great pricing on this $50k plus monster-sized project. His guys are true professionals, who are easy to work with, understand your vision, work hard and have a knack for turning raw land into a gorgeous landscape. Russ was great to work with - kept us informed every step of the way and had some great suggestions to help us end up with a great yard. The crew were very professional, respectful and hard working. We went from new construction contractor grade to a beautiful yard with natural rock retaining walls, patio, fire pit, walkways and flower beds. They took care of final grade, fencing, top soil and hydro-seeding leaving us with nothing to do but add in the flowers and shrubs. Love our yard!!

Russ was very knowledgeable and definitely steered me in the right direction. The crew he sent out was professional and courteous. You could tell right away they knew what they were doing. They constructed a 200‘ 20 foot high natural rock retaining wall in my backyard. I live back up by the visitor center in Eagle River they were not inexpensive, however I feel the wall they built will outlast my house. And the wall is critical to keep the mountain off my backyard.

It’s so hard to decide on a company for that projects! Thank goodness my sister was able to recommend Rock Landscaping! They had done some work for her company and she has a great experience. I had a 210‘8 foot tall natural rock retaining wall put in and it is fabulous! I found Russ the owner very easy to work with and what a polite and courteous crew. I plan on having them back next summer to do some leveling and put in my lawn!

Russ and his team at Rock Landscaping were great to work with. They built a beautiful retaining wall, fire pit, path from our cabin to the lake (complete with steps on the steeper slope) and put a lawn in. Russ was flexible with changes that were needed and provided excellent value for the money we spent. Friends are amazed at the transformation to our property. Even after completion of the work Russ has continued to check in, remind us to water the hydro seed when it was sunny and dry, and offer to help out any way he can. We would definitely recommend Rock Landscaping to our friends!

Rock landscaping did an amazing job on our project, we could not be happier! The owner worked with us on our vision. Cleared our property and put in a retaining wall that included a set of natural rock stairs! The work was done in a timely manor and all of the crew were friendly and professional. My experience with Rock Landscaping was great! I had met with two Contractors previously for an estimate and they never even called me back. I met with Rock Landscaping and he assured me He could help me with my earthquake damaged hill that my house sits on, as well as my driveway that was allowing water from the street to pool up against my foundation. The owner gave me updates on the progress of the job and didn't waste a minute getting in and saving my home from falling off the side of a forty foot hill! They Re-sloped my driveway so now my foundation is not taking on a ton of water too, The owner sensed the urgency in my Contractor needs and jumped right into action. We hired Russ and his crew after getting several quotes and hearing several positive word of mouth referrals from friends that had contracted him. Russ came to our home and knew just what we were looking to create on our hillside backyard. His crew built two massive natural rock retaining walls, enabling us to have usable flat areas for an expanded garden, playground, and RV pad. We had Rock Landscaping do some foundation repair and waterproofing. Russ, the owner of the company, met with us right away. It was clear he was experienced and dedicated to his work. He gave us a quote within 20 minutes and although it was higher than others, it’s been my experience, you get what you pay for. The crew was on time, professional, and courteous. The work site was left clean and neat at the end of each day and it only took three days as quoted. The owner kept me updated with photos throughout the entire project. When they were finished they graded the yard to shed surface water away from the foundation. It’s too late in the season for top soil and hydro seed so I’ll be hiring them again next season. I don’t get a chance to write many reviews but it was such a pleasant experience that I would recommend Rock Landscaping to anyone.
