Excellent work as always. Full crew arrived early. They planted exactly what I needed, including moving one to a different location from the flag that I asked. Hard workers. Left it very clean.

I absolutely loved buying all my new plants from Moon Valley, I loved how smooth everything went from landscape designer Dirk Larson, helping us find the appropriate shrubs for our yard, to the awesome delivery and professional planting service. Additionally, I never had such great customer service, with Jonna Altheim reaching out after the shrubs were planted to sharing knowledge on how to care for my newly planted shrubs and to reach out if I ever had any questions. Will definitely use them again in the future.

Whenever I need help with sprucing up my yard with new plants I come here. They're always polite, friendly and helpful! I've gotten 3 trees from them so far, a Chinese elm, a ficus and today an ash tree. The other two are doing fantastically and I expect the same of the newbie!

Because of their 3 month guarantee I'm not too worried if it does die they'll replace it for free!

Feliciano has been excellent in addressing our questions and concerns, and helping us out with suggestions and advice for the past year. We highly recommend him and his kindness.

The communication was excellent every step of the way. The install crew called in advance, showed up on time, and were quick and efficient. Even so, they were extremely thorough.

I highly recommend the company and crew.

Of note, it’s on you to have sprinklers and emitters clear of the area. It took a lot of prep work on my part to move emitters and lines prior to them planting the row of Sparkies they planted.

Edit: I used Moon Valley’s Tree Removal Service to have a mature Palo Verde taken down because it was increasingly leaning.

They were on time and had the tree removed down to the stump in 27 minutes. I was quite concerned going into this. We had fragile plants around and under the Palo Verde tree. Also, there is a water feature that was under the tree. They removed the tree without damaging any plants or property.

Next, the same service sent a two man crew to grind the stump. The tree has a five foot wide rock area surrounded by artificial turf. A PVC sprinkler pipe sticks about 12” inches into the circle. They ground the complete stump of a fully mature Palo Verde tree in those tight quarters. They had to grind a full three feet down to get the complete stump.

Without rushing, they completed the stump grinding successfully without damaging the sprinkler pipe or any of the turf in 44 minutes, including moving all their equipment.

I could have gotten it done cheaper, but not better. I also went with Moon Valley because they guaranteed repair or replacement of anything they damaged.

If you have a tree that needs to come down, Moon Valley’s Tree Removal Service is outstanding. Like most tree services they are extremely busy in monsoon season. We waited three weeks for an opening, but we were vastly relieved once the entire job was done safely.

Feliciano was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. He took the time to answer all my questions. You can really tell they care about what they do. Highly recommend.

Cesar and his crew did an amazing job planting our two Bonita Ash trees. They had to lift both trees (10-12 year old trees so not small by any means) into some planters we had constructed for them and they were very careful not to damage anything. They were very conscious about the positioning of the trees to make sure they were oriented properly for aesthetics and according to our specifications. I had a great time talking with Cesar, his son Brandon and the reset of the crew. I highly recommend this nursery if you're looking for more mature trees to plant in your yard.

Stopped in looking for something unique for my back yard, meet up with Andy, told him what I was thinking, showed him pictures of my yard, he said I have the perfect exotic desert tree for that spot, and ohhhh boy did he! Couldn't be happier with the tree, Andy and his installation crew lead by David, 5 Stars all the way! Definitely see Andy!

The specialists at Moon Valley Nurseries care about their customers and are very knowledgeable about all plant matters. The customer service is fantastic. One of my trees died because of the heat, and the arborist, Steven Lopez, who came to my house to evaluate the tree, was so helpful. He assisted me with the replacement process and gave me advice for future care. I recommend Moon Valley Nurseries to anyone looking for quality plants and service.

We couldn’t be more pleased with the plants we received from Moon Nursery (West Valley/Avondale on Indian School Rd.)! The recommendations from Wesley were excellent and he helped us pick out superior shrubs and trees. He informed us of the best deals too! We had Moon Nursery deliver and plant 6 trees, 5 of which were fruit trees. Now we have an orchard!! Don’t know the names of the crew, but they were very cordial, professional, and worked very hard (our soil in Verrado is like concrete and contained some very large rocks). Everything was done to our satisfaction. As a military veteran family, we really appreciate the discount and recognition for serving the country. We HIGHLY recommend you go to Moon Nursery in West Valley, Avondale!

We purchased a lemon and orange tree. The sales person was very knowledgeable. But, we told them multiple times that our soil isn't good for citrus. They said they would take care of it. I assumed that means they would test and amend the soil. I even asked if it would be a good idea to dig out a large area of the bad soil and add good soil. Again, they said don't worry about it, they will take care of everything. They dug a hole, added wood chips, threw the tree in the hole and poured their moon juice on it. They were very very rough with the trees, broke a lot of branches. They did no testing or amending. Now, years later, my trees struggle and do not thrive because they are in BAD SOIL. Like it told them. These guys talk a good game, but all they do is throw it in the ground and slap a warranty on it. Will never buy from them again as their prices are the highest as well. Big regret trusting this guys.
Update: The soil where they planted is even worse than I realized. There is 2-3 inch layer of fine concrete/stucco/mortar scrap about a foot down. It is completely encompassing the lemon tree all the way to the drip line. They had to dig through this layer to plant the tree. So all the water, fertilizer, and soil amendments have to pass through this layer to get down to the roots. I'm no pro, but even I know you don't plant in this stuff. Hard to make it out in the photos. But the terrible condition of the tree is easily seen. Now I get to dig all of it up and hope I don't kill the tree. Epic Fail.

The place was huuuge!! Thankfully Gabriel asked if there was anything I needed and helped me the whole entire time! This being my first visit he really educated me on what I needed to strengthen the plants and bushes I have and showed me several other plants I fell in love with! I'm definitely coming back and if anyone is reading this post PLEASE ask for Gabriel because he won't let you down!♡♡♡♡ pic is a preview of one of the plants I purchased

First time at Moon Valley and I was very impressed by their location! It’s a large area with a large selection from small flowers to large trees. Very clean and organized and the employees were welcoming and attentive. We met Eric from Texas who is very knowledgable and explained to us how to plant our new purchase! Provided vitamins to make sure our plants flourish. Will definitely return!

Thank you Mark for the trees and shrubs and also the outstanding crew for the planting service. They were all great and was helpful moving rocks and boulders for us.

A monster Thank You to the incredable Team at Buda Moon Nursery! From deciding what trees to buy, installation, education and follow-up this group can't be beat! I have enjoyed a consistency of professional service from these folks i didn't image possible. The Makenzie provided me with knowledge and a hands on tour of planting options that made the selection process a breeze. Once the trees were in place it became even more obvious she knew her trade. As for installation, Vincent and his team epitomized professionalism. With over 40 years of active military service I know leadership when I see it. Vincent clearly cares for his team, involved me in every aspect of the planting process and made it a educational and pleasant. The clear positive working ethic and environment of this team starts at the top with Philip. He esueds trust in ever aspect of his job. He clearly loves what he does and over years of doing business with Moon Nursery it is Philips easy going professionalism that brings me back every time! Moon Valley has been great to work with. I have a concrete courtyard area between my house and a detached garage that has been difficult to keep trees alive. Working with Josh Hutfilz has been great because he comes out quarterly for the MVP pro care add on and inspects and treats the tree to ensure it's doing well. Josh was out today, all looks good so I think we are in the clear with this tree bought in 2024. I will definitely be buying more trees for the front yard as well.

We had Kraig from Moon come out to do a design for us. It was very apparent Kraig was very knowledgeable about the different shrubs and plants. After listening to our concerns he took us out in the nursery and showed us every type we had wanted. We came to a agreement and he came out the day before install and put small flags where he wanted plants for installers. After they were in the ground he came back to make certain things were perfect.We couldn't have asked for better customer service than we received from Kraig at Moon Nurseries..

Garrett helped me over the summer when my ficus was uprooted after a monsoon. Turns out when we had planted it ourselves, we didn't go deep enough, and we could have been better keeping up with the care. We thought we saved her, but she ended up with sooty canker and didn't make it. Garrett helped us pick out the replacement and gave us pointers on making sure the new tree will stand the test of time! He's great, and we'll definitely seek him out for help the next time we're plant shopping! In the meantime, we're excited to watch our new tree grow!

Feliciano! I mean, where did this guy come from?? What a gem in customer service but also just as a person. As a newcomer to the plant phenomenon he was such a sage in guiding me towards the right plant for this stage.

Even though I wasn’t buying 2 story high living monstrosities, he treated me just as valuable a customer with my dinky house plant purchase.

I’d certainly recommend Feliciano for anyone tip towing into the shallow end of plant life or full-blown remodel of their landscape.
