A once excellent company, sadly joining the poor business practices of countless others.
We have used this company multiple times for all of our previous heating and AC needs. The owner, Dave, has always been professional, transparent and honest in his assessments and service performed.
This past week, one of our AC units started making a squealing noise and the fan stopped spinning. We assumed that the fan went out, as the unit was still producing some amount of cold air. A technician came out the next morning and confirmed that the fan motor needed to be replaced. When I asked for a cost estimate, he advised that he didn’t know and the owner would call us. I requested that we get an estimate before performing the work. We never got a call and later that day another technician showed up and performed the work. When it was completed, he presented a written bill for “1 OEM A/C fan motor” totaling $945. When my wife was surprised at the total and inquired why it was so high, the technician offered “that’s how much it costs”. When requesting a breakdown of the total, he advised that they will provide one after he gets back to the office. Given the work was already performed, my wife felt obligated to pay the total.
I looked up the serial number for the replaced motor and researched equivalent OEM replacement parts, to find the average price being $80-$180.
I called the office and spoke with Dave, advising that I would like a detailed breakdown of how a $150 part and an hours worth of work totaled $1000. He said he would call me in the morning. I did not receive a call, but instead a snarky email, with a breakdown and referencing the “cost of doing business”, as well as an apology for his technicians(s) not providing any estimates as “probably having something else on their minds”.
I sent a reply, thanking him for his breakdown, but advising that we never received an estimate and being a 14 year old unit that we previously stated we will be replacing in the winter, would have never had the service performed if they had been upfront about the pricing.
I requested that he still give a call, and he replied that I could try calling, but he is very busy and probably wouldn’t be able to pickup. I responded with a request that, due to the lack of transparency and professionalism on his representatives part, the bill be prorated to a more reasonable price. We did not receive a reply.
Apparently, repeat business and referrals are not of importance to a company that previously prided itself on quality and professionalism.

Gave my parents a $3000 repair quote(not install), person didn't even look at it, I bought a capacitor for $50 and replaced it for them for free, it's been a few weeks and my parents AC still works. They charged $75 for 'labor'.

The two guys were absolutely professional, knowledgeable and courteous to my. They efficiently finished the job and courteously explained what needs to be done. Because of them I am switching to AC Medics for my home

Romeo was very helpful in getting appointments scheduled.
Andy was courteous and provided professional service at the appointment.

My husband was confused by the very high quote on any future concerns if a technician has to come out after the maintenance checkup. Quote seemed extremely high at $200!
Plus the technician wanted to give my husband an estimate on a new AC unit due to its age, although the AC is working fine.

I had lost faith in this company until Andy Munoz came today. He was knowledgeable strived to do the great job he did. He did great work & hope to see him again if I need A/C done

Andy did a great job diagnosing and repairing a problem with the capacitor on our AC. He was very thorough, professional, and knowledgeable. I would recommend this company, especially if all of their techs are as professional as Andy. 👍

I only gave 4 stars due to I only had the annual checkup done. Tech was on time and explained everything he did to my satisfaction. I would not hesitate to use them again if the need arises.

As one of the first customers of PebbleCreek AC & Heating, I was a little nervous about starting over with a new company.
However, AC Medics provided excellent service from easy, prompt scheduling to a professional, knowledgeable technician. They honored my 2024 service agreement & I couldn’t have been more pleased with the service for my first appointment

AC medics quickly responded to helping me with my situation, a burned up AC motor In 110° weather. They had the part on hand and were able to immediately replace it. Very friendly and professional staff. No hidden surprises. I feel very fortunate to have found them.

Gabriel with AC Medics worked on my 5 ton AC unit this morning in Maricopa. We have had issues with other HVAC contractors in the area, but not with AC Medics. They were responsive, professional and repaired the problem I had at a reasonable price. We're very happy with the way they handled this repair call. Thank you to all involved!

I do not trust AC Medics. I was told I needed a hard start kit to the tune of $493 installed. I googled what the kit does and the overall consensus was that it is really not needed. Additionally, the part on Amazon is typically less than $30. I appreciate them changing my filters for free, but I think it’s just an excuse for them to get in the door to try and sell me something I really don’t need or at an exorbitant price.

Highly recommend AC medics. Everything was explained along the way, work was down in a timely fashion, the young man who did the work was extremely polite and friendly

My house was not cooling so I called AC Medics. Ceasar came to my house at
7:00 pm on a Friday evening and checked the system and made the necessary repairs. Ceasar spent the time to explain in detail the problem and he was extremely helpful. I would recommend AC Medics for your air conditioning repairs.

Cesar was very friendly and worked quickly to get our air up and running. He gave us good information about our unit and why it had failed. It was our first time using the new business, and we were happy with them.

Great company. Needed a tech to fix the heater in the middle of winter and they were able to send a tech out asap. Cesar diagnoses and fixed it within one visit. Highly recommend the company due to honest works!! Did not try to sell me more than what is needed. I’m glad I’ve found them and know who to call for maintenance service since AZ temp is rising up now.

Our recent service call was very positive, the communication from customer service rep Romeo was polite, timely, called with updates, called when service team was on there way. He was on it. Nice to have someone do what they say. He was the best.

AC Medics gets a 10 star review from me! Just had my A/C tuneup done and the technician Gabriel did a phenomenal job. He took his time to do all his diagnostics and explained everything to me very thoroughly. Thank you for such great service! I highly recommend AC Medics to everyone 👍

I had another company out two days ago that didn’t specialize in my system and they just reset it and said it was fine. It died the next day and I had to get another company on the job.

David was super thorough, professional, well-groomed, friendly, and cleaned up the space well. His knowledge of why my AC unit wasn’t working and how to fix it were impressive! It’s running more efficiently and cooler than it has in the last year. In this heat that makes a huge difference!!! Thank you!

    Bad experience!
I ordered an inspection for one of the house we are buing, when the customer service took the call, i was informed that it was free of charge. However, on the days of inspection, the tech and customer service called and said it was actually $200 because we were not the owner yet. The charge would have been fine if they let me know in advance, but they said no charge first and then $200 later. That's not right to do.
