Patrick came out right on time. 45 minutes later my lights were working. He's the only one I'd call next time if my landscape lights failed.

On 4/18/2023 I called this company and spoke with Patrick whom I have never met. I explained to him that my analog transformer/timer was 20 years old and that I wanted to upgrade to something digital with wifi.

He asked me a few questions about my current equipment and then told me that I may not need a new transformer (music to my ears). He thought I could get by with a smart plug that the current equipment would plug-in to.

Patrick then said he thought he had one in his truck and asked me to wait a minute while he retrieved it. He gave me the manufacturer and model and also offered that I could get one of probably many offerings at HD or Amazon.

This is an honest business person and I hope to meet him one day.

Patrick did an amazing job! He provide a solid layout plan and explained why he'd puts the lights where he suggested, a written bid, worked with me on lighting the waterfall to get just perfect after I wasn't crazy about what we first did, and took some amazing photos to show it all off! I'm totally in love with the backyard at night now.

Patrick and his team did an outstanding job on our lighting for both the front and back yards. He knew his products, how to best install them, and how to create the best nighttime look. Our new house had a lighting system but it was extremely out of date and half of it wasn’t working. After contacting a few lighting companies we found Patrick at Refined Outdoor Lighting. He was at our house the next day with an estimate for my repair and replacement. We ended up going with him and ripping out our previous system to get a whole new one. It just made more sense instead of adding to the obsolete system we had. He was prompt, and full of information of what our possibilities were and I am so glad we found him. Thank you, Patrick!

Patrick came out on time and gave us an estimate. He then showed up on time to do the work. He worked hard removing old and installing new lighting. He cleaned everything up and took all trash with him. He was extremely professional, worked hard and we are very pleased with everything he did! We completely recommend him!

I just had to take a second to write a review for this company. We've been discussing a lighting system for our house for a while now but just didn't know what we wanted. Patrick was so knowledgeable and helpful with our indecisiveness. He explained every step in great detail with all of our questions answered in a way that we could understand. I live out of state and called Patrick to troubleshoot our landscape lighting on our rental property in Cave Creek. Patrick answered immediately and arranged to go to our property two days later.He called me when he was at the property to let me know what needed to be done. He fixed the lighting in the front yard and referred an electrician for the issues in the back yard. We had old lighting / wiring, but we also have a large property. Patrick worked with us to use what was salvageable and created lighting that is truly beautiful in our front and backyard. All of our neighbors have commented on how great it looks, and it does (we've also passed his number to those who have asked!). He also did lighting on our koi pond, and that really makes the ponds pop at night. Patrick is professional, incredibly friendly and has a great staff. We would definitely recommend him and use him again.

I've hired Patrick at Refined Outdoor Lighting twice now and he has done excellent work each time. Very knowledgable about outdoor lighting and even willing to suggest how I could do the work myself if I wanted to (I did not!). Honest and reliable and highly recommended.

An uplight fixture in our entry court needed repair or replacement. We wondered whether any experienced outdoor lighting designer/installer would agree to do the work. Patrick, the owner, answered the company phone on a Saturday afternoon. To my surprise, he agreed to make a service call a short time later. Two days before the appointment, we left a phone message, asking for a change in the appointment. He responded right away, and agreed to come a day earlier. He and his assistant were friendly, honest and helpful, and the charge was fair and reasonable!

I asked Patrick to give the backyard a "resort" feel with the lighting. And that is what he delivered. He contacted me the next day to make sure I was happy with his work. One light needed a minor adjustment. No problem. Within two days, it was done. I can't wait to show my family and friends. I have no hesitation recommending Refined Outdoor Lighting.

My job involved repairing wire connections with quality modern connection devices and replacing wire in certain areas. Patrick did an excellent job in first identifying the problem areas and scheduling service. Work was done on the scheduled date and the system is now working properly. Price was reasonable.

I called Refined Outdoor Lighting after another company added to my existing outdoor light system. After the addition the lights did not work properly. I couldn't get the installing company to respond to repeated calls. I then called Refined Outdoor Lighting, Patrick scheduled a diagnosis visit within a couple of days of my call. When he arrived, he diagnosed the problem and fixed it within an hour or so. He did this at a more than reasonable cost as well. He will be my go-to company for outdoor lighting from now on.
