I needed diagnosis and repair of a number of landscaping lights - up lights and path lighting. Patrick responded promptly and looked at my issue and scheduled the repairs for a few days later. He told me that it probably would run $500 plus/minus and he ended up billing me $579 which was reasonable for the work done. In the end, my lights are now all working, he identified a few problems I did not know we had, ran new wiring to two fixtures and I am now very happy. Very professional and customer focused. I’d recommend Patrick and Refined Outdoor lighting.

Like many, I've wasted numerous dollars and several hours with cheap big-box landscape lighting kits and/or solar lighting. I'm so relieved I came across Patrick Ryan and his family owned business Refined Outdoor Lighting. He is a TRUE Professional Landscape Lighting Specialist. He answered all my questions immediately, provided tremendous products, and he delivered results beyond our expectations. In hindsight, I realize now I never really had landscape lighting compared to what I have now. His ability to design the perfect layout to highlight and accent my current home and landscaping was critical. He also installs quality fixtures and bulbs that have made my yard look like a home on a magazine cover! Horrible customer service. Spoke with the “manager” she had a very rude attitude and hung up on me. I will never recommend this trashy company.

This company did work for me last year and were great when they initially responded. Shortly afterwards, I needed him to come back and he stood me up. A year later, I called the owner (Justin) and needed him to come back for a water leak in my back yard, he set an appointment and said he would be there and then never showed up, never called to let me know he couldn't make it. I contacted him and voiced my displeasure, he then set another appointment which didn't work for me...I contacted him to change the appointment and did the same thing again by not responding. I texted him and told him I will not be hiring him anymore. Business owners have to responsive to their customers and it just seems like Justin doesn't care unfortunately.
