We have a 24 year old Acacia and Mesquite trees in our front yard that have been cared for by our landscaper. Due to his age, he informed us that he could no longer take care of the tree. We called Burt at Arizona Urban Arborist on a Monday. He was there within the hour, accepted his quote by Noon, and was scheduled for Wednesday. He and his crew were there early and had both trees trimmed and cleared out by 10. They did an excellent job and our trees look wonderful! Burt listened to our concerns about shade and shape and provided us with exactly what we wanted. We will continue to use Arizona Urban Arborists and highly recommend this service.

They did an excellent job with my palm tree removal. There was even some old palm tree leaves that we had sitting in the backyard not related to the job that they cleaned up for us! None of the other surrounding plants were disturbed and it looks like there was never a palm tree there! They have excellent, fast communication and the workers got the job done quickly and effeciently. I would recomend them for palm tree services to anyone! Fast, honest, and transparent all around. I got a quote for the job before the job was done, the quote did not change and was the same price. Honest people doing excellent work! The workers are all friendly too! Anthony is very professional! His team is unbelievable! They have been out now 3 times for my mastic tree for trimming. The tree was originally in a topiary form and decided to change into its natural state. The tree also was close to death after a monsoon but look no further as this team immediately came to the rescue . The tree is beautiful and always will be with the precision and masterful trimming so outstanding !! Thank you for all you do!!!!!!

Anthony was responsive and quick to come out to the property for a tree health consultation. He took the time to answer all of my questions and give inputs. I truly appreciate how kind and easy to talk to he was about all my concerns. Would highly recommend this company if you have any concerns with your trees.

Anthony was the 4th arborist I had come out to evaluate my ash tree, and I’m so glad I found him. I moved into my house about a year ago and loved the tree and the shade it provided, but it wasn’t looking healthy and needed trimming. I received a lot of varying recommendations from other companies, and some seemed more interested in selling products than actually helping.
Anthony was knowledgeable, honest, responsive, and took the time to explain the recommended options in a way that made sense. His pricing was also very competitive, both for trying to save the tree and for removal. In the end, because the ash tree was very old, had a C-shaped trunk, and was so close to the house, I decided removal was the safest choice.
His team arrived on time, worked efficiently, and removed both the ash tree and a mulberry tree that had become too messy to manage. They did a great job with cleanup as well. I highly recommend Anthony and his team for anyone looking for honest advice and professional tree service.

Arizona Urban Arborist is very knowledgeable when it comes to Tree Care, Tree Trimming and Tree Removal in Mesa. They are very professional and do a great job.

I've had this company now three years in a row to prune my large sweet acacia trees, they do an excellent job! The crew was very polite and professional, I also have 3 citrus trees in and around these acacias and they didn't get a scratch from all the falling limbs, very impressive.

These guys are FANTASTIC and affordable!!! They took out a big Palo Verde tree for me and did a great job!!

This is a great company. They know trees. Two years ago we lost a big part of our tree in monsoon season. We decided to use AZ Urban Arborist after that and the following monsoon season, our tree held up. But the real reason I love this company is because they take care of their customers. Today, we had them out to prune our tree and get it ready for the year ahead. We had some specific requirements for our tree and how we wanted it pruned to get the shape we want. Unfortunately, it wasn't pruned the way we discussed. When I talked to the company about it, I was expecting them to deflect the issue. However, they owned their mistake and were eager to make it right. They even offered to stop by to add some free fertilizer to my tree. Mistakes happen, we all know that...but how you handle your mistake says a lot about a person and a company. I really appreciate the way they chose to handle the situation. They could have lost a customer today but instead they gained loyalty from a customer. I 100% recommend this company.

These guys did a great job at trimming up and shaving the base of my canary date palm. They answered right away when I called, were strait forward and professional. They also provided an extremely reasonable quote for the job and were able to get me scheduled and completed within a day! I will absolutely use Arizona Urban Arborist going forward for any of my tree maintenance, I will also be recommending them to anyone that needs tree work done.

Burt Griner took time for my long standing issue with a tree that my HOA has refused to deal with. I had offered to pay to have this tree removed the HOA refused to allow me to do this at least 2x.

Finally, I decided to hire an Arborist on my own to give me a professional accessment. And with every intention of hiring his company to manage to job once I received approval from the HOA.

Burt reviewed multiples of photos and detailed out all of the issues with the tree, then provided me proper terminology/language to once again write a letter to the HOA, again my offering to pay to have this tree taken care of.

To my surprise, the HOA landscaping company showed up unannounced and took the tree down with a promise of taking care of stump grinding within the next 2 weeks.
